Rapper Yo Gotti is behind bars…

Gotti announced on Twitter last night that he was turning himself in to police after a warrant was issued for his arrest in relation to a shooting that took place last month. Details on Gotti’s arrest are below:

“JUST MADE IT TO MEMPHIS…. TURNING MYSELF IN NOW!”  He tweeted.

For those who don’t know…over Thanksgiving weekend a fight broke out between the rapper (real name: Mario Mims) and his associate OG Boo Dirty at a nightclub in Tennessee. A third man then intervened and that’s when things really got out of control. The dispute ended with six people shot and wounded.

It is being reported that Gotti will be charged with aggravated riot.

It seems like every other day another rapper (or celebrity in general) is being jailed. When will the madness end???

Rapper Young Jeezy is about to hit the streets and kill em this summer in his newest music video release “All White Everything” F/ Yo Gotti. The track is the first single off Jeezy’s upcoming album Thug Motivation 103 which is set to be released on September 28th.

Rapper Young Jeezy has finally set a new release date for his upcoming fourth studio album Thug Motivation 103. The project is due to hit stores near the end of the summer on August 31st after many push-backs over the past year or so.

Meanwhile, Jeezy filmed the music video for the album’s second single “All White Everything” yesterday (Thurs. Jul 8) in Atlanta and folks like Trey Songz, rapper Yo Gotti, NBA player Josh Smith of the Atlanta Hawks and producer Drumma Boy all came through to the video shoot.

The remix for the album’s lead single “Lose My Mind” (featuring Hip-Hop newcomer Drake) made its debut last month at the 2010 BET Awards. No word on whether or not that particular song will be sent to radio or if a video will be made for it just yet, but an encore performance could happen next month at the OVO Fest where Jeezy and Drake are both scheduled to take the stage. The concert, called the “October’s Very Own” festival, is scheduled to go down at the Molsen Amphitheater in Toronto, Canada on August 1st.

“It’s ya boy Yo Gotti!!” — Rapper Yo Gotti rounded up fellow emcees Gucci Mane, Trina and Nicki Minaj, and recorded a remix to his latest single, “5 Star Bitch.” And the Memphis, Tennessee rapper released the music video for the song over the weekend. His latest album, Live From the Kitchen, is set to drop later this year.
