Wow, so word on the sidewalk is that Qwanell “Que” Mosly has been kicked out of R&B singing group Day 26! The 21-year-old singer confirmed the news himself via his Twitter earlier today, saying that he had just gotten a letter from his former group members telling him that they would be moving forward without him.

Willie Taylor spoke for the group when he called in to a radio station shortly after Que announced that he was axed from the group. Long story short, Que was acting up and he just had to go. Willie even compared Que’s situation to “cancer” saying that he was infecting the whole group with his shenanigans.

And what’s even worse, Willie claims that he can’t even get in touch with Que through his telephone OR his Twitter, which is odd considering Que has close to 100,000 followers. How are you gonna have 100,000 followers and not one of them are your fellow group members. And forget about Twitter, how about his own CELL PHONE. Just all kinds of craziness.

Qwanell Mosly of Day 26 walked the red carpet and posed for pics before making his way into the Lux Lounge in Washington, D.C. for the Gillette Fusion Men of Style Awards last night (Nov 30).

Speaking to MTV, the 21-year-old R&B singer said even though they’re not down with Bad Boy anymore, Day 26 and Diddy still show love to each other and the group will still accept professional advice from the hip-hop mogul. And Willie said that now that they’re running the show, they’ll be handling most of the production on their new songs.

“He’s not gone,” Qwanell “Que” Mosley insisted. “He’s there if he wants it. He’s Diddy; we trust [his input]. He trusts us now to move on with our careers. It’s kind of like a blessing.” The guys plan to handle the production side on many of their new songs.

“We gave you a sample on Forever in a Day,” Willie Taylor said of the group’s production skills. “If you read the credits, a lot of that is Day26. But we really wanna get in and zone out again, get the formula. We wanna go back to the Pentagons — they were amazing. Jazze Pha is amazing. [Bryan-Michael] Cox is amazing. We’re reaching out. Sean Garrett — the Pen. T-Pain. We’re gonna reach out. We’re gonna spread the wings, but I think the bulk of the album is gonna come from Day26.”

“Some artists we wanna work with are Jay-Z, Lil Wayne,” Que added. “Eminem is doing his thing. Kanye, Diddy-Dirty Money. We wanna get everybody. Anybody who has any skills, we wanna work with them.”

R&B singing group Day 26 announced today (Tues Nov 24) that they have left Diddy’s Bad Boy recording label and will remain on the imprint’s former parent label Atlantic Records. Diddy left Atlantic for Interscope back in late in September. And even though the guys of Day 26 are no longer with Bad Boy, group member Willie Taylor tells The BoomBox that there’s no bad blood between them.

“Bad Boy is always our family, but we’re with Atlantic right now.

“We really want to get people focused on the artistry, on the music,” Taylor explained. “I think a lot of people lost it with the entertainment of the show. So now, we really want to show people what we’re all about, that we do our thing whether its on stage, in the studio, writing and producing — we do it all.”

The band plan to hit the studio at the beginning of next year to record album three. “We’re very excited about it. We know exactly what the fans are expecting from us on this third album. We’re going to take the gloves off, really go for it. A lot of people thought Day 26 weren’t going to be here but we’re still standing.”

Earlier this year the group flexed their design muscle releasing a woman’s shoe line called Eight2Six. Their first product the Swaggaa Heel can be purchased online and is available in three different colors. “You can wear them at all times. You never have to take them off,” group member Brian Andrews promised.

Good for them! Being off from under Diddy’s umbrella is going to do wonders for their career…

This is the second time Willie Taylor from Day 26 has had to do some damage control due to leaked nude pictures. Not too long ago, photos of Willie showing off his “willy” were passed around the Internet but were claimed as fake by the Bad Boy recording artist who gave all credit of the pictures to Photoshop. This time around, he’s admitting to this new set of photos that have made their way to the web and has apologized to his fans via his Twitter, saying that the pictures were only intended to be seen by his wife.

So I see that haters just wont leave me alone! The pics that r roaming the net r pics that were sent to my wife in the form of a email!! Im not home alot and that was a way we kept the excitement in our relationship, some hater hacked her email and tried to share my privacy with the world!!
