Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton walked away with a lot more than what he expected after leaving a party following the 2009 Much Music Video Awards last night in Toronto, Ontario (Canada). He and musician Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas are all over the news due to an altercation that happened outside an afterparty that resulted in Hilton allegedly being punched in the face by Will.i.am’s manager.

Pop singer Rihanna brought along a friend Sunday (Jun 7) night and they sat and watched the Lakers take on the Magic in Game 2 of the 2009 NBA Finals at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. According to Contact Music, Michael Jackson, the undisputed King of Pop, wants to work with Ne-Yo, Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas for comeback tracks that are set to be released this summer. Kanye West also wants to join in the mix and has submitted a track for Jackson’s approval.
Jackson is heading back into the studio to record new songs ahead of his live dates – and he’s calling on the music heavyweights to make a killer tune for release this summer (09). Britain’s News of the World reports that the King of Pop is being helped by Will.i.am and R&B star Ne-Yo on his comeback efforts, and adds that Kanye West has submitted a track for Jackson’s approval.

In our exclusive election coverage post, which remained perched at the top of GOT’s home page for several hours before Obama’s victory was announced, over 1,300 visitors participated in the poll which posed the question “which ticket did you vote for?” I’m sure several people who are not registered, and who probably didn’t vote, took a part in the poll, but the fact of the matter is over 1,200 votes went to Barack Obama, while only a little over 180 voted for McCain.
