Vivica A. Fox told Access Hollywood in an interview this week that she called off her engagement with Atlanta club promoter Omar “Slimm” White … but apparently, that’s not how it went down.

According to Slimm — aka the “six pack and a smile” — he was the one who ended the relationship and he says Vivica is just trying to save face rather than admit the truth.

In an open letter released yesterday, Slimm tells his side of the story, calling his ex a liar and defending himself against claims of him using Vivica for her celebrity, adding that he would probably still be with her if she would stop with all of the “childish antics” and let go of the negativity.

Slim also adds that he was completely blindsided with the fact that Vivica had conducted an interview for the December 2011 issue of Sister 2 Sister Magazine (Check out the cover above!) about their relationship, apparently without his knowledge, after they had broken up.

I totally understand that a person would rather save face and avoid admitting their fiancé ended the relationship. So I understood why Vivica didn’t admit the reality of what really took place. She would have come out better if she stated we went our separate ways if she wanted to avoid the “true” nature of the breakup. The main thing is don’t lie… she and I know what happened so just be cordial and keep it moving. She knew from day one when I first met her I would joke and say “hey baby don’t hit me with that 2 can play that game” lol those methods destroy relationships. I hate games and negativity

Further more if I was using her for fame then why wouldn’t I play the game, put my pride aside and follow through on tying the knot? The reason being I’m not that type of man and I refuse to sell myself short for Fame.

Happiness is key in anything you do in life and people who settle for the wrong reasons never find True Love. I understand the illusion of life and what to avoid so I’m happy at the decision I made and one thing that was evident if she keeps it real or not is the fact I told her several times that “baby, no matter what we disagree about, let’s keep peace and love in the house.”

As you see in the month of December, her and I appeared on the cover of Sister 2 Sister, and when I saw the cover I was shocked because I walked away 2 months prior but I came to the realization that Vivica went ahead and did the interview as if nothing happened (At that time the public wasn’t aware of our breakup) So I’m thinking like if you really wanted to get Married instead of getting caught up in all the glitz and glamour you wouldn’t have continued to provoke stress in the relationship. If you were to ask Vivica right now, “Did Slimm try time and time again to keep the relationship strong” she would have no choice but to admit who I am and the good examples I set! I always told her toward the end that “baby, I will loose interest if we keep this up”… When you have a bond with a woman that fire can fade if both parties involve don’t fight to preserve Chemistry…

But as I stated once before she has a great personality and a good spirit but you will never find true happiness if you cannot …overcome negativity and childish antics… I wish her the Best

When Vivica A. Fox‘s fiance of nearly a year announced to the world that he no longer wanted to be engaged to her, the actress kept her silence and never released a statement.

Now a month later, the 48-year-old actress is finally speaking up about why her relationship/engagement with Atlanta club promoter Omar “Slimm” White failed.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Fox admitted that although she had high hopes to get married … ultimately, she realized that all she did was fall in love with a “six pack and a smile,” so she pulled the plug on the relationship before things got too serious.

“I was ready to do the family thing but unfortunately this didn’t work out. I had the courage to end things before we jumped the broom and wasted a lot of money,” she said. “Sometimes in relationships there are warning signs (I’ve been married before) and if there are warning signs you should pay attention to them before you get families involved, all the hoopla and things like that. If things aren’t working out, it’s okay to move on.”

When asked if she was dating anyone new or even looking, Fox replied, “I told myself that I’m gonna try something different next time because I happen to fall in love with a six pack and a smile. And look what that’s gotten me.”

Actress Vivica A. Fox and her young club promoter fiance Omar “Slimm” White have called it quits.

Confirming the split, Slimm told TooFab:

“She’s a good woman, it’s just one of those situations where in life people outgrow each other. I’m highly intelligent, very wise and one thing I hate is negativity and drama, I hate arguing, and I value communication no matter what the problem may be. So as in any relationship, tension can build up and I finally had to walk away.”

Vivica and Slimm’s relationship had been the subject of a lot of gossip due to their nearly 20-year age difference (Slimm is 27 to Vivica’s 46), but Slimm says that age had nothing to do with their break-up.

“I was only in it for love and it just didn’t work out. Even though she was older than me the age difference didn’t play a part,” Slimm explained.

Fox candidly told Wendy Williams nearly a year ago of her plans to start a family with Slimm, “I’m very fertile, so I don’t think I’ll have a problem. We’re planning after the tour to do the thing. If I could get a boy and a girl, that would be fabulous, and I’m shutting down shop and shipping these eggs off to Africa somewhere.”

Had Vivica and Slimm gone through with a marriage, this would have been number two for Fox, who was married from 1998-2002 to aspiring singer Christopher Harvest.

Though the actress has chosen not to speak up about her split with Slimm, she took to Twitter Thursday and told a fan who was checking in on her:

“Thankx soo much 4 the kind words! I’m fine! At work and being very productive! God has got me! As always! :-)”

“Can we be engaged for just a moment? Geez! Everyone’s just like, ‘Holy moly, when’s the wedding?’ We’re just basking in the glow.”

Instead of being in such a rush, Vivica is waiting until the fall to start planning for their wedding. But in the meantime, the couple are spending time together “hanging out and loving each other. He’s a good one. That’s why he’s my fiance,” Vivica stated.

This will be the second marriage for Fox…who was previously married to singer Christopher Harvest.

Honey Mag chatted with actress turned reality TV star LisaRaye McCoy, who recently signed divorce papers against her husband, Michael Misick, the former Premiere of Turks and Caicos, about her marriage, the divorce, whether or not she got married for the money and more.

She also touched a bit on how she feels about Rocsi (from BET’s 106 & Park) creeping with her man and how her relationship with fellow actress (and once best friend) Vivica A. Fox is. Peep a few excerpts from the interview below and when you continue reading…

You have been going through your divorce to former premier Michael Misick for over a year. Is it final yet?
When you’re going through a divorce, that’s sad in itself. When you’re fighting the man that runs the country, that is a totally different thing. It’s a different country and they don’t do things the same way we do things over here. The divorce is final. The second part, which is the divorce settlement, is not.

You signed a prenuptial agreement. What seems to be the hold up with your settlement?
We are still going through that now. This man has lost his position, his lifestyle, family, and his government legacy. That is a lot. He’s facing not only an investigation, but also charges. And not just from the governmental standpoint, but he also had charges for rape. That’s a lot for one man to take on. And he loses his wife. I get that there are some other priorities in his life. My thing is that I’m waving my flag over here going okay so we agreed that we are no longer interested in being together. So let’s be fair with each other.

Many people feel that you married him for the money. Are you a gold-digger?
The perception that they have of me — I could give less than a damn about. I say this to them. I dug for gold in high school. I’m a platinum girl now. I’m an international person. I don’t even like taking out the trash. I don’t dig for anything. I don’t have a garden either. Every relationship that you embark on is some kind of business relationship. You got to look at it that way. You got to protect yourself, not just from the man next door, or Uncle Sam, or the IRS, you got to protect yourself from anyone you’re in business with. So you better look for someone that’s going somewhere who’s trying to take you with them. Money attracts money. Power attracts power. You ain’t got to tell the white girls that. Look at Jackie Kennedy Onassis. She stepped from Kennedy to Onassis. Do you think she stepped from Kennedy to Burger King man? No.

How did it go wrong?
He had a child within our marriage with the same baby’s mother that he had his first child with, which I did know about. When a woman feels something is going on we go into that investigative mode. And when I did that, I got all of my ducks in a row and I brought it to him and said what is this all about? He explained it to me. I said to myself, ‘Is this worth me breaking up my new marriage for?’ It was deceitful but it wasn’t worth me breaking up my marriage at the time. But I had to think if I trusted him. Trust is a building process. So while we are trying to build the trust, so many things were happening with affairs and the corruption of governmental funds and then the Rocsi thing.

Did you know Rocsi
I knew Rocsi in the mutual respect that we were both public figures. And she interviewed me before on 106th and Park.

Were you shocked when you found out about Rocsi and your husband?
I’m never shocked, girl. I don’t put anything past anyone. I was very disappointed in the way it was handled. Because to me, if you’re going to do whatever you’re going to do… respect your [and my] home. Do that over there, not here. And the way it was done so publicly with people calling me saying, ‘Hey, you know I’ve seen pictures on the Internet in your backyard? And I see that she flew in and you flew out.’ I didn’t know that she knew my husband.

Have you seen her since?
Have you heard that I’ve seen her? You will hear about it. I’m sure that you will.

Your divorce has been a very public one. Have your friends helped you through this?
There was a lack of support from my friends that I embraced and took over there (Turks and Caicos). When you have a friendship and you come out of your funk you do look for someone to comfort you and say girl I got your back. Do you need anything?

Were you saddened by the fact that Vivica Fox was not by your side through the turmoil?
I wasn’t going to lie down and die because I fell out with Vivica. I keep it real. I’m not going to say I could care less. Once you go through the hurt that your friend is not there, you tend to [say] ‘it is what it is.’ Let me keep on moving.

Why aren’t Vivica and yourself no longer friends?
I’m looking for the answer now. It’s confusing to me. It’s puzzling. You have to ask yourself why. And although I have wanted to ask her why, I go back and forth because I’m like why am I extending the olive branch. So I’m kind of torn. Because we have said we are going to talk but I get to thinking about it and it makes me go you know what fuck it. Nah. Uh uh. I don’t know what she could possibly say to me that could make me say okay.

Did anything specific happen between you and Vivica?
On my part there are some things that happened. That, I know. But she doesn’t know that I know. We haven’t had an opportunity to sit down and talk about those things. I don’t know if there are some things that she thought that I’d done. Definitely she was not in the midst of my marriage. So while it was going on I don’t know what she could have thought was more important than a woman whose life is changing. If by chance my drama was too much for my friends to handle that says a lot about a friendship too.

Is there anything you would like to say to Vivica?
What couldn’t you put [some things] on the back burner and say my friend needs me? Let me go to her. You can’t be with me while the chips are down? But while things were good, ‘we flying over here.’ We at my house free styling and profiling and you can’t be there when I’m going through it. Huh I don’t need you. I definitely don’t need you while I’m on the up swing. It’s sad to me. That says a lot about a woman to me. That says a lot about a person’s character.

Aunt Viv had us scared for a little minute! We actually believed she had something to do with all that “psychic friends” mumbo jumbo but we’re definitely glad to hear that it’s all some BS.

After an infomercial video and flyers for her alleged campaign with The Psychic Friends Networks hit the web on Monday, actress Vivica A. Fox contacted BV Buzz exclusively to address the matter. In a statement that the star of ‘Two Can Play That Game’ and ‘Soul Food’ sent via e-mail late Monday night, she declared: “Vivica A. Fox is no friend of The Psychic Friends Network.” Fox is alleging that the footage circulating online “is using her unauthorized likeness, footage, voice and photographs as an endorsement of their service.” Additionally, the actress is demanding that The Psychic Friends Network “cease and desist immediately” with use of the video and images. Details about why the video was shot or how the images were obtained by The Psychic Friends Network were not explained.

Vivica A. Fox is not letting it go down like that! The actress talked to PEOPLE Saturday night at the BET Honors and said: “Vivica [1] does not have a sex tape. If I did, I would be making my own money off of it.” Reports of the alleged tape, which shows a woman who resembles Fox, made its rounds across the internet over the past month, but Fox says, “As a 43-year-old woman, I would never allow a man to put me in that position. If you see me having a love scene, it’s going to be choreographed in a movie, and be fabulous.”

A rep for New York also spoke with PEOPLE recently about her alleged sex tape as well. The reality tv star’s rep said in a statement: “Tiffany Pollard 100% did not participate in any sex tape of any kind.” Tiffany is apparently upset that the grainy tape is making its rounds across the internet, says a source close to the “I Love New York” front-woman. “If she had a sex tape, she would admit to it,” says the source. “That’s her personality. She has nothing to hide. For someone to make a sex tape and say it’s her — when it’s not — is just not right.”

Black Hollywood showed up and showed out at the first ever BET Honors, which were held in Washington D.C. Saturday night. The ladies glammed it up on the red carpet, and the fellas got their GQ on. Honorees included R&B star Alicia Keys and supermodel Tyra Banks, Time Warner board chairman Richard D. Parsons and Princeton professor Cornel West. “For me, I’m just a girl still from Harlem, and here I am,” Keys said. “It’s a tremendous feeling to do what you love and for people to love what you do. … People are honoring me for doing what my heart tells me to do, (and that is) so fulfilling.” Actor Blair Underwood presented Keys’ award, while her musical idol, Stevie Wonder, performed a special rendition of of “As” especially for her. John Legend, Wyclef Jean, Gladys Knight, Brian McKnight, Jill Scott and Raheem DeVaughn also performed. The show is set to air sometime in February. Check your local listings for more details.

This is the video allegedly showing Vivica Fox donating some knowledge to a male friend. Notice I said “allegedly” because nothing has been confirmed yet. Word on the sidewalk is that dude recorded this video via his cell phone. I can’t really tell, but do you really think it’s her? I mean … there are people who look like celebrities, lol. I know y’all have heard of “celebrity look-a-likes.”

Just so you know, in my opinion, you’re not a real celebrity until a blurry video of you doing the nasty with your significant other (or just a random jump-off … whatever makes your boat float) “leaks” to the internet. Word on the sidewalk is that a certain Atlanta radio personality who goes by Porsche Foxx lucked up on a sex tape (recorded via cell phone, mind you) featuring Vivica Fox and an unknown male companion. Apparently Aunt Viv was blowing dude’s whistle, if you know what I mean. And Sandra Rose basically confirmed it, but of course Porsche’s denying that she said it was really Viv!

Sex tapes aren’t really all that bad. Look what they did for the careers of Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian!! Besides, it’s the year 2008 … you should know by now that anything “recorded” and not immediately deleted/destroyed is liable to get out SOONER OR LATER. When are people gonna learn?!
