While promoting his talent show NBC’s “The Sing Off,” the one-time reality star joked when asked if the pitter-patter of tiny feet will be heard any time soon, “I’m doing everything I can.”

He continued, “Trust me, it would make me happy. Family is very important. It’s very important to us. and I’m sure that will be around the corner.”

So after their nuptials on July 15th, how is married life treating the happy couple?

“It’s great,” he said. “Obviously we’re still in the honeymoon period. Not much changed, which, for me, is a good thing. We’ve been together five years. We were very comfortable in our relationship before the marriage.”

After dating for over 5 years … Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo are now married!

The pair tied the knot over the weekend (Sat. Jul 16) in a surprise ceremony, held at a remote tropical island in front of a small group of 35 friends and family. The couple didn’t even tell their guests what was in store once they arrived on the island.

“Nobody knew where they were going,” Minnillo, who used to work as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight and was once engaged to football player Derek Jeter, said.

“Our wedding invitations were in the form of a plane ticket,” Lachey, who is a former member of the R&B/Pop group and was previously married to Jessica Simpson, added. “We told them they were going away and the attire was ‘island chic.’ It was all very vague.”

According to the Daily Mail, as she walked down the aisle, Vanessa wore a two-piece Monique Lhuillier outfit featuring an intricately embellished lace corset with rose and crystal detail, paired with a signature hand tufted skirt made of silk faille … while Nick, who currently hosts NBC game show “The Sing-Off,” rocked a Dolce & Gabanna suit.

Nick and Vanessa’s wedding will be shown in a TLC special titled “Nick and Vanessa’s Dream Wedding.”

With the help of Volkswagen, Maxim Magazine hosted a pre-Super Bowl party in Miami, FL Saturday night (Feb 6) at The Raleigh that drew in celebrities from all over.

Folks like Bow Wow, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, LL Cool J and more came through to party it up the day before the Super Bowl and add their signature to the VW GTI parked on the red carpet. With each signature, Volkswagen will make a donation to Doctors Without Borders.
