The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was taped in New York City at the Lexington Avenue Armory Wednesday night (Nov 9) for a TV special that will air on CBS later this month.

The pink carpet featured appearances from various celebs like TV personality Lala Anthony, R&B singer Maxwell, Hip-Hop mogul and philanthropist Russell Simmons, actor Cuba Gooding Jr., model Tyson Beckford and Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine.

Supermodels Chanel Iman and Miranda Kerr looked absolutely stunning as they ripped the runway, showing off the brand’s newest and sexiest styles of lingerie, with Kerr walking down the runway wearing the $2.5 million diamond-studded bra designed by London Jewelers.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs Tuesday, November 29th at 10 pm ET on CBS.

Justin Bieber and Usher were spotted outside the Dolce & Gabbana Boutique in New York City last Thursday night ahead of D&G’s Fashion’s Night Out event, which was also attended by Carmelo Anthony, Lala Vazquez, Chace Crawford from “Gossip Girl,” male model Tyson Beckford and others.

Bobby Brown almost caused a scene at DJ Cassidy’s birthday party in New York Wednesday night (Jul 6) after he pulled a waitress by her pony tail when she walked away from him when he was talking to her.

The R&B bad boy got into the altercation with the catering staffer just before hitting the stage with his 80′s group New Edition at DJ Cassidy’s celebrity-filled 30th birthday celebration onboard the USS Intrepid aircraft carrier.

“During the band’s sound check earlier that evening, Bobby was talking to one of the waitresses, but she walked away from the conversation before he was finished talking. Then Bobby pulled her ponytail. She complained to her bosses, and Intrepid security called event organizers,” a source told the NY Post’s gossip column Page Six.

When Bobby B and his crew finished performing and returned to continue partying for the event, “security spoke to Bobby’s management and the situation was resolved,” the source said.

Reps for Brown confirmed the incident, saying it was all a misunderstanding. “It wasn’t anything detrimental or anything,” a rep said. “He did it in a playful way and it was fine. It was a misunderstanding. Everything was fine; no one had any issues.”

Other celebs in the building included rapper/producer Swizz Beatz, New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony, male model Tyson Beckford, Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons and more.

Eddie Murphy and family gathered at the Juliet Supperclub in New York City on Tuesday (Jan 18) to celebrate his daughter Bria Murphy’s new partnership with Softsheen-Carson as their new spokes model.

Bria’s mother Nicole Mitchell and sister Shayne looked happy to be there in support of the 21-year-old. In addition, actress Nia Long and model Tyson Beckford were also at the event. Congrats, Bria!

Male supermodel Tyson Beckford must have a little hater in him. He told The Associated Press that he isn’t too keen on actors and musicians taking on roles as models posing in magazines and advertising campaigns. He feels like they’re taking jobs from models. He even went as far as saying that magazines and advertisers are going to get tired of airbrushing and making custom apparel for these “celebrity models” so that they can “look pretty” in those campaigns and magazine covers, and will eventually return to using predominately models.

“You have to do a lot of tweaking and airbrushing to get the same from a celebrity that you would get from a model. A lot of celebrities – I’m gonna tell you right now – they’re not 5’11. They’re not a size two to fit into these designer dresses, but the designers want exposure so they’re willing to make the specific dress for that actor or actress to get them to look good on the cover. It’ll all come back around. One day some designer will wake up and say, ‘You know what? I don’t want to use Gwyneth Paltrow. I want to use Adriana Lima, I want to use Gisele (Bundchen), I want to go back to the high fashion.’ I think slowly but surely you’ll see that start happening.”

Well ain’t that the pot calling the kettle black. We seem to remember a few “acting” roles Mr. Beckford has been in. Hypocrite, much?

Singers (and lovers) Chris Brown and Rihanna look like they just want to grab each other and …. well, you know the rest. The two performed on stage together at the B96 Jingle Bash in Chicago Tuesday night (Dec. 16th).

Rapper/actor 50 Cent (also known as Curtis Jackson) was spotted leaving Mr. Chows in Los Angeles Tuesday night before he hit up a movie premiere. When asked why he was so dressed up, he told photographer he was “focusing on his paper.” While we’re not the biggest 50 Cent fan, we have no choice but to respect his hustle!

Speaking of 50 Cent (hehe), our boy The Game performed overseas last night. Manchester, England to be exact.

Rick Ross was spotted by the paparazzi as he left “The World’s Largest Office Christmas Party,” sponsored by Florida radio station Power 96. The event was held at Cafe Iguana.

Will Smith was spotted as he arrived at ABC’s Times Square Studio for a taping of “Good Morning America.” He’s currently on the promo trail for his new movie, Seven Pounds, which hits theaters tomorrow.
