BET taped their annual “Rip the Runway” fashion show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City this past Saturday evening (Feb 27). The show was hosted by Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj and actor Pooch Hall (from “The Game”), and featured performances from Soulja Boy, Estelle, Trina, Janelle Monae, Ludacris and Nicki, and a few others. Rapper Trina had her privacy compromised when her phone was stolen last year, and the person whole swiped the device went and posted ALL of her personal pictures, including some nude images, to the web for the world the see this week.
Speaking to MTV, the female emcee explained how her cell phone was stolen during the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta last October. And ever since, the person who had possession of the phone has been trying to get her to pay up. But she didn’t and they went and leaked the pics, and now she and the FBI have launched an investigation to look into the situation.
“[The images are] me on a very upset day — I think I was in Canada, upset crying,” she explained. “Just personal stuff. Photos in the studio. I think [one] was me having an allergic reaction, breaking out. I just think it was my personal stuff and for someone to do that is so, so wrong. So now I’m actually having it looked into by the FBI and it’s gonna be a bigger situation than just leaked photos. Hopefully we can deal with the situation and put an end to it.”

Everybody else is sending money. Trina wants to adopt. Miami rapper Trina wants to lend a greater helping hand by adopting an oprhan child from the troubled country of Haiti, who was impacted by a massive 7.0 earthquake about 2 weeks ago and suffered nearly 50 after shocks in the days following. She put out a statement over the weekend:
“With the current state that Haiti is in right now, I personally feel like donating monetary and physical possessions is an enormous and vast donation; however, I would like to contribute on a higher level for more personal reasons like being ready to raise/nurture a child and by being involved on a day to day basis,” Trina states.
Hundreds to thousands of children have lost their family and parents in this natural diaster. There is no alternative for them due to flooding, hurricanes, and now this massive earthquake. Sadly, a series of a 6.1 tremor caused more diaster and killed and injured many people.

Rappers Nicki Minaj and Trina teamed up to celebrate their birthdays together in Atlanta over the weekend at two different clubs on two different nights. Friday night’s (Dec 4) bash was held at Studio 72 and Soulja Boy rolled through to support his girls.
Expect rumors of Soulja Boy and Trina to start running rampant though because we hear those two were pretty close that night and are supposed to be an “item.” Interesting… If that’s the case, major props go to the 19-year-old rapper for pullin’ a chick like Trina (who just turned 31)!
The ladies ended their “weekend celebration” Saturday night (Dec 5) with a big party at Atlanta’s Club Miami. A few of the celebrity guests in the building for that particular party were musician/socialite Teyana Taylor, pro boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. and comedian Lil Duval.

Female rapper Trina and her boyfriend, NBA player Kenyon Martin, were both involved in a fender bender in Belize today, reports TMZ. Kenyon is in town for a charity basketball event he is hosting Saturday night. According the popular news/gossip site, when they were leaving the airport, their car was side-swiped by another vehicle, which resulted in them being run off the road. Kenyon’s rep says that the two of them are fine, and no one was seriously injured.

Some of the best dressed female celebs of the night were Rihanna, Gabrielle Union, Jennifer Hudson, and Alicia Keys. Rihanna wore a neon yellow Giambattista Valli dress from his spring/summer 2008 line, Gabrielle Union wore a gorgeous white Celine Vonn dress, Jennifer Hudson wore A brown Peter Soronen corset dress, and Alicia Keys wore a strapless pink David Meister David Meister dress with Melody Ehsani Hate/Love Rings.
