Comedian Tracy Morgan is reportedly “doing much better” after being rushed to the hospital after he collapsed at a dinner during the Sundance Film Festival in Utah Sunday night (Jan 22).

According to various reports, the “30 Rock” star was being honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards in Park City, Utah when he fainted outside the venue after he gave his acceptance speech.

Reps for the funnyman say he passed out due to “from a combination of exhaustion and altitude,” adding that no drugs or alcohol were found in his system after he was evaluated by medical professionals.

“Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false,” Tracy’s representative Lewis Kay said in a statement.

Making light of the situation, Tracy tweeted the following today:

Superman ran into a little kryptonite. The high altitude in Utah shook up this kid from Brooklyn.

He also thanked the hospital staff and his fans for their support:

The 2011-12 NBA season officially kicked off on Christmas Day (Sun. Dec 25) with a number of basketball games, including the Boston Celtics vs. New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden, which was attended by R&B singer Alicia Keys, her producer/rapper husband Swizz Beatz and their 14-month-old son Egypt.

Other celebs spotted at the Celtics/Knicks game were Spike Lee, Chris Rock and Tracy Morgan.

Tracy Morgan has been receiving a ton of backlash from the homophobic remarks he made during a recent comedy routine in Tennessee.

In an effort to make things better, the comedian has released another statement apologizing for his actions and has teamed up with GLAAD.

“I know how bad bullying can hurt. I was bullied when I was a kid. I’m sorry for what I said. I didn’t mean it. I never want to use my comedy to hurt anyone. My family knew what it was like to feel different. My brother was disabled and I lost my father to AIDS in 1987. My dad wasn’t gay but I also learned about homophobia then because of how people treated people who were sick with that. Parents should support and love their kids no matter what. Gay people deserve the same right to be happy in this country as everyone else. Our laws should support that. I hope that my fans gay, straight, whatever forgive and I hope my family forgives me for this.”

Morgan also plans on meeting with LBGT teens from Ali Forney Center in NYC this week. Next week, Tracy along with Russell Simmons and GLAAD will visit those in Tennessee who were offended by what he said during the show. Lastly, he will be filming a PSA as part of GLAAD’s “Amplify Your Voice” campaign.

GLAAD released the following statement on Tracy’s behalf:

“By not only apologizing, but sending a message of support for gay and transgender people, Tracy will help many realize that no one should be treated differently or subjected to violence,” said GLAAD President Jarrett Barrios. “It is so important that Americans hear from allies like him as well as gay and transgender youth shunned by their families and parents who have lost their only children to anti-gay violence. We look forward to working with him on spreading this message to Americans.”

It almost sounds like Tracy is going on an “I F*cked Up Really Bad” tour. Glad to know he’s trying to make up for his mistakes though!

Tracy Morgan has apologized for his controversial homophobic rant during a recent comedy routine.

“I want to apologize to my fans and the gay & lesbian community for my choice of words at my recent stand-up act in Nashville. I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.” Morgan said in a statement.

Morgan’s outburst became viral when audience member Ken Rogers posted the following to his Facebook account after viewing the show.

“What I can’t take is when Mr. Morgan took it upon himself to mention about how he feels all this gay s–t was crazy and that women are a gift from God and that [Lady Gaga's] “Born this Way” is bulls–t, gay is a choice, and the reason he knows this is exactly because “God don’t make no mistakes” [...] He took time to visit the bulls–t of this bullying stuff and informed us that the gays needed to quit being p–sies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying. He mentioned that gay was something kids learn from the media and programming, and that bullied kids should just bust some a– and beat those other little f–kers that bully them, not whine about it.  He said if his son that was gay he better come home and talk to him like a man and not [he mimicked a gay, high pitched voice] or he would pull out a knife and stab that little N [*gga] to death. He mentioned that Barack Obama needed to man up and quit being all down with this just because he has a wife and two daughters.  All of this being followed by thunderous cheer and “You go Tracys”.  Tracy then said he didn’t f–king care if he pissed off some gays, because if they can take a f–king d–k up their ass… they can take a f–king joke.”

Tracy really has a way of pissing everyone off with his jokes. Maybe he should just keep them to himself for a while.

While promoting his new film “Rio” earlier this week, funnyman Tracy Morgan touched on controversial Hollywood bad boy Charlie Sheen and his often disastrous publicity tour  saying Sheen is far more tragic than humorous.

“I think that’s a train wreck and I feel bad for his two little kids because they’re the bodies being pulled out of the train wreck,” Morgan said. “What’s going to happen to them? But everybody thinks it’s a joke.”

42 year -old Morgan, is a father of three children and he has battled substance abuse problems himself. Only difference is that Tracy’s kids are all grown up, and he hasn’t spouted off to every media outlet available about his issues.

“While this a–hole is going on stage making a fool of himself, his kids are going to suffer and don’t even know it because this is a cycle of abuse,” Morgan said.

We all know how lucky we are to have freedom of speech, but no man is luckier than Hollywood funnyman Tracy Morgan. The ’30 Rock’ star recently guested on ‘Lopez Tonight’ and spoke about his visit to the White House for last summer’s White House Correspondents dinner.

While he didn’t perform for President Obama — “I would killed myself if he booed me,” Morgan said — he did get to meet First Lady Michelle Obama.

“I looked at Michelle and she said, ‘Hi Tracy!’ and I just got hard!” Morgan said. “Michelle looked like a tall mountain, and I’m gonna climb it just ’cause it’s there. Kilimanjaro!”

Woah! Doesn’t Tracy know that in some countries you could get shot simply for making such a bold statement?

Tracy Morgan isn’t the type to have his family worrying about his problems…

The comedian/actor underwent surgery for a kidney transplant back in December…but didn’t tell a soul. Not even his closest family members, including his own brother!

“I’ve been with him at his home, and he didn’t let me know anything. It was his choice, but he could have got me checked to see if I was compatible. If he would have asked, of course I would have done it. He’s my brother. Maybe he didn’t want to put me through the pain. I don’t know what his thinking was,” Tracy’s brother James Morgan recently stated.

Instead James and their mother Alicia Warden found out on the Internet last month…..but thought that it was some kind of joke or an error was made.

“I just found out on the Internet last month that he had the operation. I really didn’t believe it. I thought it was just a stunt or something. I thought maybe that’s a misprint. But he called my mother and confirmed it,” Tracy’s mother said.

The only person who knew anything about Morgan’s surgery was his ex-girlfriend Tanisha Hall who donated him the kidney that saved his life. Tracy recently thanked her on the red carpet at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

“I’d like to thank Tanisha for donating my kidney to me. We were together, but then we separated. But she also gave me a kidney,” Morgan said.

We don’t know exactly why Tracy broke off things with his ex, but if she will give a kidney up for you…..she’s definitely a keeper!

Last night, the comedian/actor made an appearance on NBA pregame show “Inside the NBA” and said some things that not-so-appropriate for live TV about former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

“Let me tell you something about Sarah Palin, man. She is good masturbation material. The glasses and all that. Great masturbation material,” Morgan stated.

And believe it or not, we weren’t the only ones to find his comments a little over the top….TNT issued the following apology shortly afterward:

“It’s unfortunate Mr. Morgan showed a lack of judgment on our air with his inappropriate comments.”

R&B singer Monica dropped by BET studios in New York City to record a taping of “106 & Park” Monday (Feb 22). She was there to premiere her new “Everything to Me” music video and spread the word about her new album’s release. Mo also talked about how great of an “uncle” slash “godfather” Ludacris (her cousin) is to her two kids and recalled of him babysitting for an entire day by himself recently. Monica’s 6th studio album Still Standing is due in stores on March 23rd.

Actors Malika Yoba and Tracy Morgan also hit up 106 & Park Monday to promote their new projects. Tracy’s new movie “Cop Out” hits theaters this Friday (Feb 26) while Malik’s new film “Why Did I Get Married Too?” is due for an April 2nd release.

Ashanti sure is looking good these days! It’s hard to believe Nelly let all of that go. She and Ja Rule reunited on stage at the 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors Wednesday night (Sep 23), which saw performances from Wale, Kid Rock, Method Man & Redman, Eminem and more. The ceremony honored the pioneers of Def Jam along with the people, past and present, who helped create the label and build it into what it is today. Hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan, the show is set to make its television debut only on VH1 on Tuesday, October 13th at 9 pm.

It’s only right that the first Def Jam artist to be honored was the label’s foundation and face for so many years, LL Cool J. The Roots started it off with “Rock the Bells.” Black Thought ripped the first verse of the record, then gave way for a special guest: Eminem. Last year, Slim Shady publicly expressed his love for LL during a phone prank on DJ Tony Touch’s Shade 45 radio show. Spitting the second verse of “Rock the Bells” on Wednesday night, Em sounded almost exactly like the legend who inspired him. “Now I’m worldwide known/ Whether you like it or not/ My one-man band is Cut Creator…/ When he’s on the fader/ What’s my DJ’s name?” “Cut Creator!” The crowd yelled. Later, Kid Rock paid tribute to LL with “I’m Bad.” The Kid also DJed during the show, as did Ed Lover.

The second performance was from one of Def Jam’s signature groups, Public Enemy. Chuck D was immediately electrifying with the opening words for “Rebel Without a Pause”: “Yes, the rhythm, the rebel.” Chuck still has one of the most recognizable and commanding voices in all of music, not just rap. Flavor Flav came out wearing a white tuxedo jacket, matching top hat and a black bow tie. PE arguably had the performance of the night with help from the Roots, S1W and Boots Riley. The Long Island-bred rap chiefs were just born for the stage. The entire crowd was on their feet cheering. After their performance, Flav was seen talking to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan in the audience.

Another bricklaying squad for the house that Russell and Rick built was, undoubtedly, the Beastie Boys. KRS-One, Wale and the Gym Class Heroes did a rocking rendition of “No Sleep Till Brooklyn.” Travis McCoy, who wore a black T-shirt with the names “DJ AM” and “Roc Raida” in the shape of the Run-DMC logo, took on the first verse. The Blastmaster, who is a former HHH honoree himself, took verse two and ended by saying, “Adam, get well soon,” referring to Adam Yauch, who is currently battling cancer. Wale finished off the song and later paid tribute to Kanye West, wearing a backpack and rapping “Touch the Sky.”

When Onyx performed “Slam” it felt like the group had stepped out of a time capsule: They looked almost exactly the same and still had that insane energy that made them famous. During his verse, Sticky Fingaz climbed on top of a large speaker. Rather than climb down when he finished, Stick climbed into the balcony. Other performers included Rick Ross, Fabolous, Foxy Brown, Redman, Method Man, Mary J. Blige, EPMD, Ghostface Killah, Chrissette Michele, Warren G, Trey Songz, the reunion of Ashanti and Ja Rule, Ludacris and DMX — many of whom teamed up with the Roots for a show-closing medley of Def Jam hits.

Offstage, Ja Rule and DMX had their own reunion. The two came up together as close friends and later turned to bitter enemies, even dissing each other on records. As X was walking out, Ja was returning to his seat, and the pair saw each other, hugged and talked for a few moments.

Rapper DMX walked the Red Carpet of the 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors Wednesday night (Sep 23) at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York City. His appearance at this year’s show marked his first public appearance/performance in at least three years. And we all know all of the drama he’s been getting himself into in the meantime.

TV personalities Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian posed for pics together on the Red Carpet at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards, held Sunday evening in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theater. Apparently their arrival as a duo was changed at the last minute due to a wardrobe malfunction Kim experienced prior to stepping out on the red carpet. She said didn’t get to make her “live hit” with sister Kourtney because of a problem with her zipper but was able to make it to the show on time and called it “an amazing experience.”

Writing on her official blog, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admitted that a zipper on her white dress by Ina Soltani broke while she was en route to the ceremony.

“I had a major fashion emergency… My entire zipper ripped! It just popped!” she explained. “I freaked out and called my stylist Monica who was at the Emmys waiting for me with a needle and thread to sew up my entire dress! ”

He supposedly flew her out to LA on a private jet and the whole nine. I guess Nene really is stunting on all the other housewives. Being loud, confrontational and stereotypical during every public appearance pays off. Who knew?

Tracy Morgan: When I was wilding? I got kicked out of Prince’s house. The last time he won a Grammy, we went to the pre-Grammy party. Free booze all night. Prince had his band in the living room. Everybody left the house except for me and my boy. It was 6 o’clock, 7 o’clock in the morning, the sun was coming up, and we were still drinking. And Prince and his wife were at the door in their pajamas and said, “Come on, Tracy, you’ve got to go.” And I was gay for about five seconds because he’s a pretty motherf*cker. If Prince was a woman, I would go down on him. All the way down. Swell his vagina lips up.
