As Tiny sits at home holding down the fort, she briefly discusses with her fiancee  T.I. on the phone, “How is everything going?” And she’s provided an update on everything going on with the rapper.

“He hears things and we talk about it. He wants me to stay out the way, me being out of harm’s way. I know it’s a lot of crazy things going on so I try to stay in as much as possible because I don’t have him here. So I come out only when it’s necessary. I stay out the way…He’s doing good. He’s passing the time by working out and just doing things they do inside, you know,” she told All Hip Hop.

Tiny goes to visit T.I. every Sunday or Monday, with the only exception being an outbreak of a gastrointestinal virus in mid June swept the prison. Visitations were suspended for 18 days after 158 of the 2,000 plus inmates, along with several correctional staff members, reported symptoms of the virus. One inmate did test positive for norovirus.

But we’re glad to know all is peace in harmony in the world Tiny and T.I. as the Atlanta rapper  is still scheduled to be released from prison in the year 2010.

The 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards went down in Atlanta, GA Saturday (Oct 10). We hear Jay-Z and Young Jeezy opened the show in a big way with a surprise performance! Other tidbits from the show include the late DJ AM being the recipient of the “DJ of the Year” award, Kid & Play popping up during New Boyz‘ performance and Gucci Mane performing like 3 or 4 times. The show also featured performances from Soulja Boy, Ludacris, Jim Jones, Snoop Dogg and more.

The show, hosted by comedian Mike Epps, airs on BET on Tuesday, October 27th at 8/7c and we hear it was actually the best out of the few that have gone on over the past few years.

When you first heard about BET’s new original reality series, “Tiny & Toya” we bet you didn’t think, “Hey, this show is going to be the #1 show in history!” Well, according to stats recently released by Nielson Media Research, it is!

The season finale of the popular BET series Tuesday night (Aug 25) saw an impressive 1.9 milion total viewers, while the season premiere of “Frankie & Neffe” also saw the same numbers. And with an average of 1.8 million viewers per night, “Tiny & Toya” is currently the #1 original series in the history of BET Networks! The premiere of Frankie & Neffe stands as the #2 series debut in BET history.

“Tiny & Toya” chronicled the everyday lives of two ordinary women, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle (T.I.’s fiancee) and Antonia “Toya” Carter (Lil Wayne’s ex-wife), brought together in friendship by their shared experiences surviving the pitfalls of fame alongside superstar significant others. While the brand new series “Frankie & Neffe” follows the R&B Keyshia Cole’s mother (Frankie) and sister (Neffe) as they strive to gain financial independence and take charge of their own lives.

With impressive numbers like that, we wouldn’t be surprised if BET renewed both shows for a second season!

Our homie FreddyO sent over these pics of Tiny and Toya celebrating the success of their BET reality series, “Tiny & Toya” Thursday night (Jul 23) at Club Pure in Atlanta. Their show comes on television Tuesday nights at 10 PM, and believe it or not it’s a pretty good watch. Diamond from Crime Mob also partied it up with the ladies and took a couple of pics with them.

Continue reading for a video we found a few days ago of Toya in an interview with S2S Magazine’s Jamie Foster Brown, the mag’s publisher/founder. Toya is featured on the cover of the upcoming issue and the video includes a snippet of the interview where she talks about how Wayne “proposed twice” even while he was dating Nivea, who is currently due to have his baby in a month or so. She even mentions how she and Nivea are still good, saying she’s a “sweet person” and the only girl she allows she and Wayne’s daughter, Reginae, to go around. Check out that clip after the cut!

Here Jamie Foxx can be seen paying tribute to Michael Jackson (comedically, of course) as the host of the 2009 BET Awards, which aired live from Los Angeles Sunday night (Jun 28) on BET. Jamie Foxx is probably one of the few people who can make light of a sad situation and have everyone laughing and crying at the same time. The BET Awards was supposed to dedicate the entire show to Michael, per the press release sent out Friday, but failed to impress.

The show itself was pretty good, but they should have never mentioned dedicating the show to MIchael if they didn’t have the time to do it right. That said, we really hope they put together an entire special to honor the late King of Pop so they can at least try to save face. A lot of stories are circulating about the Internet saying that T.I. and his longtime girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle tied the knot before Tip reported to Forrest City prison to serve his 366-day prison sentence. The reports state that the couple got married in a secret ceremony last Friday (May 22) in Miami.

But Gossip On This is here to let you know that although T.I. and Tiny are no doubt in love, but him going to prison for a year-and-a-day did not prompt the two to quickly get married in a “secret ceremony” in Miami. A highly placed source close to the couple revealed the news to us yesterday and T.I.’s publicist Sydney Margetson also told Sister 2 Sister that the news is “absolutely not true.”

So there you have it. They’re not married … yet! Shame on you Essence!
