My girl Keri Hilson and Timbaland made a pit stop on the promo trail at TRL Monday. As you already know, Keri premiered her new video, and talked about her debut album, “In A Perfect World,” which is due for a late summer/early fall release, so definitely be on the look-out for it. Rumor has it that she and Terrence J exchanged numbers on Monday’s 106 & Park, so if that’s the case … TJ better watch his back ;-) That’s all I’m saying.

Producer Timbaland and his girlfriend, music exec Monique Idlett, are now husband and wife. According to US Magazine:

The two wed — in their sweats! — in Virginia on Tuesday by a family pastor.

They are getting hitched again in a formal ceremony in Aruba on June 22.

The couple, who are based in Miami, welcomed a baby girl, Reign, last year. (He also has a son from a previous relationship.) He popped the question at Idlett’s baby shower.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Hip-hop king Jay-Z and R&B queen Mary J. Blige showed up and showed out (from what I hear) in Miami’s American Airlines Arena Saturday night! The two were there, along with Kanye West, Timbaland, and The Dream, to kick off their Heart of the City tour. Rappers Young Jeezy and Fabolous showed their support from the audience, and were photographed backstage. It looked like a pretty damn good show! Wish I could have been there.

Not true, according to Rolling Stone, a label-rep says to Rock Daily, “that is absolutely ridiculous and untrue.” These falsified claims first starting surfacing on the National Enquireresque-site MediaTakeOver, which quoted an “inside source,” stating, “If Nas doesn’t change his mind, he’ll be dropped. And he doesn’t have to much time to come to that realization.” The Emcee has been frequently in the media now leading up to the release of his forthcoming album Nigger.
