Casey Johnson, the heiress to the Johnson & Johnson company recently passed away and she will be laid to rest by her family in a private funeral later this week. The Johnson Family released the following statement:

“The Johnson family wishes to thank everyone who has expressed condolences and support during this trying time,” said family spokesman Jesse Derris. “Your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated.

There is no final word on the exact cause of Casey’s death, but most suspect that drugs and her long battle with diabetes most likely lead to her death. Her body will be flown back to the east coast to be laid to rest.

Casey recently became a well publicized after she become the fiance of socialite Tila Tequila.

Socialite Casey Johnson was found dead in her Los Angeles apartment Monday morning (Jan 4). TMZ reported that it had been several days before she was discovered and the LAPD has opened a death investigation.

Johnson, 30, was engaged to MySpace celebrity turned TV reality star turned Twitter celebrity Tila Tequila. She was the heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune and her father, Woody Johnson, owns the New York Jets.

We spoke with Tila. She says they were fighting last week and that Casey stayed at Tila’s house on the 28th. Tila tried contacting Casey on the 29th because Casey had left her dogs behind. Tila says Casey’s phone has been shut off since the 29th and she was not able to make contact.

Johnson — who tweeted frequently — last tweeted on December 29 at 1:13 AM.

As of now, no cause of death has been determined as it has been deferred due to pending toxicology tests. The L.A. County Coroner’s office released information earlier this evening and said that Johnson did not take her own life and her body showed no evidence of of heart disease, liver, kidney, vascular or other obvious problems

We’re told there is no evidence of suicide or homicide. As for drugs, law enforcement sources tell TMZ there was “an insignificant” amount of prescription medication found in the home where she died. Our sources say the toxicology report should be the key to determining cause of death.

Apparently Tila Tequila has now taken a step back on the statement of her being pregnant with her brother’s baby. But the former MTV reality star is still insisting she will become a surrogate mother for her brother very soon. Tequila recently shocked fans with the news of her engagement to the billionaire heiress Casey Johnson and followed it up with the big news of her “carrying her brother and his wife’s baby” on her twitter: “BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: I am going to become a SURROGATE MOTHER for my brother & his Wife!!! That is my xmas present to them. I’m pregnant!”

But now she states the strange announcement wasn’t completely true, because she is not pregnant yet.

She tells Life & Style magazine, “I’m about to be (pregnant). When I tweeted that, I figured there’s not enough space in the 140 characters. (I meant) I’m going to give him a Christmas present that’s going to change his life.”

She also states she is excited about the pregnancy even though she’s giving the child up to her brother and wife.

It’s not exactly how it sounds though…

MySpace celebrity turned MTV reality star turned Twitter attention whore Tila Tequila is reportedly serving as a surrogate mother for her brother and his wife. She announced the “news” via her Twitter Sunday.

Tila announced less than two weeks ago that she and her girlfriend Casey Johnson (heiress of Johnson & Johnson) were engaged, so the timing of the upcoming wedding and the birth of her niece/nephew will be quite interesting, but we’re not 100% sold that Tila is actually carrying her brother and sister-in-law’s child. Because well, Tila is a compulsive liar and you have to take everything she says on her Twitter account with a grain of salt.

Neither her brother nor her fiancee have responded to this wild and crazy story… but regardless we’re sure there will be plenty of Tweets and drama leading up to the wedding and throughout the supposed pregnancy.

Clothing brand Famous Stars & Stripes celebrated their 10th anniversary with a big party at Vanguard Tuesday night (Dec 8) in Hollywood. The party also doubled as an album release party for rapper Snoop Dogg’s 10th studio album Malice N Wonderland, which was released to stores the same night. Travis Barker, pictured with Snoop above, along with other celebrities like Sean Paul, Pharrell Williams, Ray J, Mike Epps, Vanessa Simmons, Lamar Odom and many more all came out to celebrate both occasions.

Tila Nguyen, best known as “Tila Tequila” accused her NFL linebacker boyfriend Shawne Merriman (of the San Diego Chargers) of choking and restraining her when she tried to leave his apartment Sunday early Sunday morning (Sep 6). The police were called at about 3:45 A.M., which subsequently led to Merriman being arrested and accused of “battery and false imprisonment.” Tila was taken to a local hospital while Merriman was taken into custody. He was later released on $58,000 bail and no charges have been filed.

But it’s not that cut and dry. Merriman says that he wasn’t trying to hurt Tila. He was only trying to help her because she was drunk as a skunk. An allegation Tila vehemently denies because she claims that she’s “allergic to alcohol.” However, TMZ released pictures of the couple at Stingaree nightclub in San Diego just a few hours before the alleged incident occured. One of the pictures show Tila giving Shawne a lap dance, which clubgoers say occurred all night long. She even sent out a tweet proclaiming how drunk she was on her way to a football game!

Doesn’t sound like someone who’s “allergic to alcohol” to us…

On top of that, Shawne has released a statement to FOXSports.com backing up his story in an effort to clear his name.

“On September 6, 2009 the San Diego Sheriff’s Department responded to a citizen’s complaint that was initiated by Tila Nguyen (aka Tila Tequila). I was taken into custody based upon that complaint. At the time, I was concerned about her welfare given the intoxicated state she appeared to be in and I encouraged her to stay until safe transportation could be provided.
