Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger walked away a winner last night during the finale of the tenth season of ABC‘s “Dancing with the Stars.” Nicole and her dance partner Derek Hough scored 115 points (out of 120) from the judges for their dances Monday and Tuesday night and received a ton of viewer votes, which put them over the edge against their competitors Olympic figure skater Evan Lysacek and his partner Anna Trebunskaya.

Her competition in the final hour was Evan Lysacek, who nabbed 108 judges’ points with partner Anna Trebunskaya before viewer votes were tallied. “It’s been such a blast,” Lysacek told Tom Bergeron after Scherzinger’s big win, noting that he and Trebunskaya would be “bonded forever” by their dancing days. “We’re so proud of Nicole and Derek!”

But the 31-year-old entertainer says she won’t be keeping her disco ball trophy.

“I’m going to give it to my mom because she’s the reason I really did this show,” the Pussycat Doll, 31, told Us after the show. “This is for her!”

Seeing that Nicole is a professional dancer and all, it’s a no-brainer that she’d win. But we find it a little unfair that they let her compete at all given that she already has a strong background in dance. But regardless, congrats to her!

Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin recently unveiled this picture via her Twitter of her Dolls’ new lineup.

The new members include Kherrington Payne, Vanessa Curry, Jamie Lee Ruiz, and Rino Nakasone-Razalan, and they performed for the first time at a private party Friday night (May 21).

Now, is it just us or do these “new” dolls look just like the old ones? Same tour outfits, same look, same…. everything! Are you excited for new music from PCD? Or are they done for good?

The Pussycat Dolls have finally called it a quits.  The group’s future has been up in the air since the dolls all decided to do their own thing. Former Doll Kimberly Wyatt said if mastermind choreographer Robin Antin reunites with the Dolls there will be a drastic change in the lineup.

Kimberly told website Digitalspy: “As far as the Dolls, I don’t know. I didn’t call the shots then and I don’t call the shots now…Almost all of us have left and been pursuing our own thing, and that’s how it’s been left. As far as I know the group has fully disbanded.” Kimberly released her debut solo single ‘Candy’ this week – said: “I was in a situation where I was unable to grow creatively or as a human being by being in the group. The situation had to change or I had to change. Once I found out the situation wasn’t going to change, I had to take the decision upon myself.”

Three members of the girl group quit leaving only main vocalist Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thorton for the new lineup. Kimberly recently posted the song “Not Just a Doll” to her YouTube channel explaining her situation and why she left the group.

Robin, former choreographer, has previously said, “the group will return this year, but given no details as to who it will include, although it has previously been reported Nicole’s place in the group is secure. The brand is about female empowerment. Inside every woman is a pussycat doll waiting to get out. There are millions of women out there who want to know what it feels like. I want to bring in new faces.”

Now that all the girls from the Pussycat Dolls have left the group (with the exception of Nicole Scherzinger), they’re each going to take a stab at having a successful solo career. The first former Doll to crack the scene is Kimberly Wyatt. A new track, titled “Candy,” from Aggro Santos has surfaced and it features vocals from Kimberly. The song is a dance track that we can see being played at the club a lot. Now the only thing that’s left is to see if it garners enough buzz to keep her going.

“I know that Dawn is actually working with Puffy — and I probably shouldn’t say it — and another girl, and they’re going to do a group,” PCD’s Melody Thornton said. “So, big ups to you, Dawn Richard! … Kill it!”

When MTV News spoke to Richard earlier this year, she didn’t mention anything about working with Diddy or another female artist. Rather, she seemed focused on trying to pick up the pieces of Danity Kane with fellow member Aundrea Fimbres. So we decided to reach out to Richard’s management for comment on her future plans, but we were told that “at the present, we are not able to offer any comment on the matter.”

Thornton seemed to believe that Richard is moving on. After getting to know her on the road — both Danity Kane and the Pussycat Dolls opened for Christina Aguilera on her 2007 Back to Basics tour — Thornton has high hopes for Richard’s new career.

“Everything happens for a reason, without a doubt,” she said. “We’re here for a reason, you’re here for a reason … the [Danity Kane split] happened for a reason, too. Everyone has amazing experiences so that they can learn from them. Everything’s for a reason.”

“Numba 1 (Tide Is High)” will be a track included on reggae man Kardinal Offishall‘s forthcoming album Not 4 Sale in stores Sept. 9th. Now, initially the track featured The Pussycat Dolls, but decided to use Rihanna instead I guess for that “island” feel. I actually kind of like The Pussycat Dolls’ version of the song better in my opinion. What do you guys think?
