Reality TV personality Kandi Burruss brought in the new year by throwing a Ciroc-sponsored party in Miami Beach, Florida Saturday night (Dec 31).

Kandi’s “Ciroc the New Year 2012″ event saw a performance from R&B singer/songwriter Ne-Yo, as well as appearances from BET personality Terrence J and supermodel Selita Ebanks.

Once the guys figure out what’s going on, they decide to turn the tables on the women and take matters into their own hands.

In addition to the previously mentioned celebs, the film’s all-star cast includes Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, Terrence J, Romany Malco (“40 Year Old Virgin”), and more, as well as appearances from Lala Anthony, Keri Hilson and several others.

Rick Ross stopped by BET’s “106 & Park” yesterday and made his first major TV appearance since his health scare earlier this month when he suffered two seizures back-to-back.

The Maybach Music CEO explained to hosts Rocsi and Terrence J that his long work hours and the fact that he hasn’t had a good night’s sleep in over 5 years put his health at risk.

He said, “Being the fastest growing label in the game, wanting to be the number one label in the game, it comes with a lot of sacrifices and in my case it was sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving. Me being a hustler.”

Ross says his doctors tested him for cancer, diabetes, HIV and more, and the tests came back showing that the rapper is “totally healthy.”

“It was a case of me not getting enough rest, enough sleep,” he said, adding that these days he’s making sure to leave room for naps.

The rapper also revealed that he recently worked on a collaboration with Jay-Z.

“Me and Jay-Z finished the biggest collaboration that we’ve ever done together, for my album,” he said.

Rick Ross was also joined by rapper and MMG artist Wale, and R&B singer Jeremih for the interview at BET Studios in New York City.

“Wipe Me Down” rapper Webbie is really upset with Terrence J!

The Louisiana native has posted a video on the web of him claiming the next time he sees the BET host he is going to SLAP him in the face.

The “new-found beef” stems from Webbie recently being banned from BET for disrespecting Rocsi.

Damn! Where in the hell did all of this come from??

Webbie needs to go sit down somewhere … nobody’s going to take him seriously trying to attack Terrence J.

The 9th Annual Ford Hoodie Awards went down over the weekend (Sat. Aug 13) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Hosted by Steve Harvey, the 2011 Hoodie Awards featured appearances from R&B singer Letoya Luckett, actor/BET personality Terrence J, actor/comedian Kevin Hart, gospel singers Tye Tribbett, Marvin Sapp, & Kirk Franklin, actresses Tisha Campbell-Martin & Tichina Arnold, and many more. For the past three years straight … Chris Brown has ended up being right in the middle of major discussions regarding the BET Awards. In 2009, the year of the “incident” … they basically lied to the world when they announced just before the show that he was scheduled to perform (and didn’t).

Then the next year in 2010, he was granted the opportunity to perform, but all people talked about was how he cried at the end of his Michael Jackson tribute. Now, a year later, in 2011 … Chris Brown is still at the center of BET Awards talks!

Last night, Tiffany Greene, an excited Nicki Minaj fan who won the chance to present the Coca Cola Viwers’ Choice Award, was on the receiving end of a ton of Internet hate after she announced the “wrong” (but also right) winner for the fan-voted award. And it wasn’t even her fault!

As Tiffany was about to announce the winner of the award, she looked a little confused as she tapped an iPad-like tablet device, declaring Chris Brown the winner. Overcome with panic, Greene quickly apologized and corrected herself, saying that Rihanna ad actually won, which was met with boo’s and other disapproving noises from the crowd.

BET personality Terrence J then said that the winner was Drake, who declared that the situation was “awkward” as he accepted the award for Rihanna, who the award was actually for. And get this … Later in the show, host Kevin Hart RE-clarified the whole thing and said that CHRIS BROWN was actually the winner after-all!

Talk about messy.

Shortly after the flub, as the show went on, Tiffany took to Twitter, rightfully blaming BET for the whole ordeal. In fact, before she even went on stage, she tweeted that because the show was running over time her script had been cut short. And after returning from the flub, she tweeted: “Bawling backstage. They totally f**ked me up. The tablet f**kin said CHRIS BROWN….the TELEPROMPTER said Rihanna. What the F**k?????? Goin home.”

“So BET did that on purpose. Oh. I feel better,” Tiffany tweeted after the ordeal was cleared up near the end of the show.

After all was said on done, BET’s Vice President of programming Stephen Hill admitted (via Twitter) took the blame for what could be considered the biggest mistake to happen at an awards show.

“That BET Awards Viewer’s Choice mix-up was due to human error. And I was the human that made the error,” he tweeted. “I apologize to ALL affected.”

BET owes not only Chris Brown … but Tiffany Greene an as well. That poor girl went through all of that drama just for Chris to still end up winning (and she said he was the winner in the first place!)

Tuesday night’s (Feb 22) episode focuses mainly on Malik leaving and re-entering rehab with the help of his friends and Melanie‘s argument with her friend Kelly over her “position” in the Sunbeams. The episode also follows Kelly as she tries to stay relevant despite her reality show having troubles. Also, Malik tries to find out the root of all his issues.

The 10th Annual Jack in the Box Celebrity Shoot-Out went down over the weekend (Sat. Jan 29) in Arizona. Celebs like Chris Brown, Common, Terrence J, Frankie Muniz, Romeo, Pooch Hall (from “The Game”) and more competed against one another in the match, held at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Brown’s team, which included Common, Frankie Muniz and Pooch Hall defeated Romeo’s team, consisting of Terrence J, DJ Clue and fitness guru Billy Blanks. In addition, Chris Brown was named MVP of the game. Proceeds from the shootout were donated to Phoenix Suns Charities and Suns Nite Hoops.

Lil Wayne took over Dream Nightclub in South Beach, Miami Saturday night (Jan. 15), and threw a party for his Young Money artist Lil Twist, who recently celebrated his 18th birthday. The guest-list for the party included BET personalities Terrence J & Rocsi, along with Weezy & Twist’s manager Cortez Bryant and Atlantic Records exec Michael Kyser.?

When Weezy grabbed the mic in the DJ booth, he told the crowd:

“I’m here to celebrate my lil n*gga Lil Twist birthday, ya dig? He said all he wants for his birthday is some new p*ssy, and I’m gonna help him with that!”

Congratulations are definitely in order for BET and the latest addition to their line-up of sitcoms, “The Game!”

According to stats released this week, when the show made its big return to television Tuesday night (1.11.11) via BET (after being dropped from the CW 2 two years ago), “The Game” brought in nearly 8 million viewers, making history as the biggest audience EVER on the network!

In three seasons on the low-rated CW broadcast network, the sitcom The Game never averaged more than 2.3 million viewers, and in its final season, it averaged a measly 1.68 million, but in its debut on the BET cable network on Tuesday, the show attracted 7.7 million, putting it ahead of much of its broadcast competition. It was the biggest audience ever to tune in to a program on the Viacom-owned network.

“It’s so great to hear from a community that feels they’re being overlooked by the major networks,” BET chief Debra Lee told Advertising Age magazine. Separately, she said in a statement “It is clear these two shows are real game changers for the Network and the proven success of last night tells us that our viewers are not only passionate about the types of programming that we offer, but continue to crave on-air programming that reflects and respects our voices.” (Source)

Brandy is laughing off rumors that she is pregnant with her second child.

That website that ALWAYS posts lies (you know the name, we don’t have to tell you) put out a story yesterday claiming that Brandy was expecting a child, possibly with either her ex boyfriend Flo Rida or her rumored new boyfriend Terrence J. However, the R&B (who proclaimed her 6-year celibacy a few months back) has responded to the story herself, telling her Twitter followers yesterday: “Now y’all know dang well I’m not pregnant!”

And speaking of that pesky rumor that she’s dating BET personality Terrence J……Brandy tells Life & Style Magazine that she and the 106 & Park host are just “friends.”

“We’re friends! He’s really nice. I met him on 106 & Park and we’ve always kept in touch. He’s been my friend for about two years now.”

Her rep added: “Right now, Brandy’s just enjoying dating. She’s renewing old acquaintances and getting to know new people. She and Terrence are friends hanging out and getting to know each other.”

So there you have it, Brandy is NOT pregnant and she Terrence J are JUST FRIENDS. Get it? Got it? Good!

Other folks spotted at the event were BET personality Terrence J, actress Loretta Devine, the cast of The Game (including Tia Mowry, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Hosea Chanchez & Brittany Daniel), The Game’s creator Mara Brock Akil and more.

For the second time in one week, Brandy and Terrence J were spotted out together once again.

The R&B singer and BET personality were on hand for the Roast of Stephen Hill, presented by the City of Hope’s Music and Entertainment Industry at the Lincoln Center last Thursday evening (Dec 9) in New York City. Just the night before, the pair were spotted kicking it courtside at a basketball game in NYC. Are they just good friends or should we put these two on new couple alert?

After the funny roast, Stephen changed into some shorts and a tee to play dunk tank. Former 106 & Park host A.J. Calloway, Mike Epps and Bruno Mars all took a shot at trying to dunk the roastee. Looks like it was a fun night for everyone!

Rocsi and Terrence J also presented her with a plaque congratulating her on her first official video, which made little Willow a little teary eyed after she read out what was written on it.

Ludacris (with the help of some of his celebrity friends) hosted his annual all star celebrity basketball game in conjunction with his LudaDay Weekend festivities over Labor Day Weekend in Atlanta.

Sunday (Sep 5) at the 5th Annual LudaDay Weekend Celebrity Basketball Tournament, held at Morehouse College’s Forbes Arena in Atlanta, Luda, Chris Brown, Chris Paul and Terrence J‘s team (with Larenz Tate as assistant coach) competed against Nelly, Polow Da Don and Sammie‘s team (coached by Teyana Taylor with Kenyon Martin as the assistant coach) with Luda’s team taking the win at the final buzzer.

Other celebs spotted at the 5th Annual LudaDay Weekend Celebrity Basketball Tournament were Kelly Rowland, Lance Gross, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Bow Wow, Ne-Yo. And at the end of the game, Luda’s non-profit (The Ludacris Foundation) was presented with a $25,000 donation from AirTran.

Chris Brown and his “Takers” co-star Idris Elba laugh it up with BET personalities Rocsi and Terrence J as they tape an episode of 106 & Park Tuesday (Aug 24) in New York City. “Takers” also stars T.I., Michael Ealy, Hayden Christenssen, Zoe Saldana and more, and is in theaters now.

While on BET’s 106 & Park, Chris Brown touched on a number of topics, answered fan questions and cleared up two things. For one, he said his tears for his idol Michael Jackson at this year’s BET awards were 100% real and un-staged. He also put rumors of him and Usher going on tour together to rest, adding that a joint-tour with the “OMG” singer could possibly happen in the future.

“At first we were talking about it, but I think maybe something in the future. But right now, I’m just doing the whole Chris Breezy thing,”

When asked about why exactly he broke down at the BET Awards during his tribute performance to the King of Pop, Chris said:

“A lot of people don’t know, I was going to see Michael Jackson the day he died. I was on my way to the Staples Center to see him [the day he died] … When I heard ‘Man in the Mirror,’ the words started speaking to me in my personal life. It just touched me. It wasn’t fake. I know people were trying to put extras on it, but everything was genuine. That was my ultimate apology, hands down.”

Soulja Boy dropped by BET’s 106 & Park Thursday (Jul 22) to promote his upcoming third studio album Dre (due in stores October 5th) and the album’s lead single “Pretty Boy Swag,” which he later performed.

The 19-year-old rapper (who turns 20 next week) also revealed that that he’ll be releasing a book about his life the same day his new album drops.

After a 5-year engagement and a lot of wedding planning, basketball star Carmelo Anthony and former MTV VJ Lala Vazquez are now man and wife.

The happy couple exchanged vows over the weekend (Sat. Jul 10) in front of 300 of their closest friends and family at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. Insiders say the pair’s 3-year-old son Kiyan served as the ceremony’s ring bearer and escorted his parents to the alter before they said their “I do’s.” According to UsMagazine.com, the bride wore a Vera Wang gown as she walked down the aisle.

The star-studded guest list included folks like Kim Kardashian, Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Ludacris, Serena Williams, Trina, Kenyon Martin and more. LeBron James was also there and caused quite a scene when New Yorkers greeted him (with his girlfriend Savannah Brinson and BFF Chris Paul by his side) with a series of boos as he made his way into the building for the wedding.

The trio was there to debut their brand new music video for their newest single “Hello, Good Morning” and to promote Diddy’s new album Last Train to Paris.
