Ne-Yo, Cuba Gooding Jr., Terrence Howard, Tristan Wilds and several others will all be starring in a new film titled “Red Tails” produced by George Lucas.

The film focuses on the story of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American pilots to serve in World War II.

50 Cent hung out with Miley Cyrus and Gabrielle Union backstage at the first ever American Giving Awards, which was held at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilian this past Friday night (Dec 9) in Los Angeles.

The American Giving Awards also featured performances from Will.i.am, Taio Cruz and Leann Rimes, as well as appearances from Terrence Howard, Colin Farrell and “Dancing with the Stars” winner J.R. Martinez.

Terrance Howard will be seeing the inside of a courtroom very soon.

The actor’s estranged wife Michelle Howard (who filed for divorce in February) has filed court documents claiming he beats on her and threatens to kill her.

According to Michelle, things got so bad one time … Terrence “slugged me across my face and neck” … and even threatened to kill her by throwing her off a balcony!

She claims the abuse continued throughout their relationship, including:

– smacking her in the face and chipping her tooth with his wedding ring
– throwing her down to the ground in a parking lot
– telling her, “I’ll hit a woman quicker than I’d hit a man”
– Saying, “If you tell anyone about my personal business, I will kill you and no one will ever know
– Screaming, “B*tch, walk home. That’s my car, I pay for it.”

Terrence, on the other hand, is denying that he ever threatened Michelle and claims she has been threatening to “release private materials to 3rd parties for her own personal financial gain” unless he paid her money.

TMZ reports that the “private material” in question is a video of Howard singing naked in the shower. (WTF?)

A temporary restraining order has been granted against Howard preventing him from going near or contacting her until their next court hearing.

Wow! This sounds like a lot of unnecessary drama to us … how much you wanna bet she is still going to end up being with him after all is said and done?

Terrence Howard‘s wife Michelle Ghent has filed for divorce, according to documents obtained by Radar Online. The couple just celebrated their 1-year anniversary last month.

Court docs state that according to Michelle, the couple separated on January 27th due to irreconcilable difference. Michelle is also asking for spousal support and has requested that Terrence pay her legal fees.

Michelle was Terrence’s second wife, but his third marriage. The 41-year-old actor previously married a woman named Lori McCommas back in 1989 before divorcing and re-marrying her again in 2005. They have three children together.

Actor Terrence Howard showed off his new wife Michelle this week as the couple attended various events for the 2010 Cannes International Film Festival in France. Word is Terrence and Michelle secretly wed in a private ceremony in Los Angeles back in January. Howard broke the news to CNN‘s Anderson Cooper earlier this week and the happy couple have been rubbing elbows with Hollywood elite at the Cannes Film Festival ever since.

Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson and her co-star actor Terrence Howard announced their upcoming historical film “Winnie” Saturday (May 15) in Cannes, France at a press conference during the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

Production for the biopic, based on the life of South African politician Winnie Mandela, kicks off May 31st in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Robben Island, where former South African president Nelson Mandela was held as a prisoner for nearly 20 years. Jennifer will play Winnie and Terrence will play Nelson in the Darrell Roodt-directed film.

The 2009 Soul Train Awards, hosted by Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, were held earlier this month (Tues. Nov 3) at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta and were aired last night (Sun. Nov 3) on BET. We posted the arrival photos shortly after the show was recorded at the beginning of the month and here are the pictures from inside the show!

Folks like Robin Thicke, Ludacris, Keri Hilson, Fantasia and more performed. Trey Songz and Toni Braxton opened up the show with Braxton’s new single “So Yesterday” and ended their performance with a big ol’ passionate smooch on the lips! Toni says it was all planned and her husband knew about it well in advance so any speculation about that causing the separation between she and her husband is reportedly false.

Anika Noni Rose and her on-screen love interest Bruno Campos walked the red carpet of the premiere of Walt Disney Pictures’ “The Princess and the Frog” at Disney Studios Sunday (Nov 15) in Burbank, California. Anika plays the princess and Bruno plays the frog, who later turns into her Prince Charming.

The movie will be released to a limited number of theaters in New York and Los Angeles next Wednesday (Nov 25) and everywhere else on December 11th.

Other celebrities at the premiere were Ne-Yo, Terrence Howard, Jenifer Lewis, Blair Underwood and Erica Hubbard.

Paula Patton‘s hoo-hahs were on display in her short, black, bedazzled dress as she arrived at a screening of the new movie “Precious” at the Crosby Street Hotel Thursday night (Nov 5) in New York City. Actor Terrence Howard is now engaged to be married!

While on the set of his new war movie “Red Tails” over in Prague, the 40-year-old actor popped the question to his girlfriend, Colombian actress Zulay Henao, who flew all the way to Europe to visit him.

He announced the news Friday night when photogs bumped into the couple at a bar in Prague.
