T-Pain // 2009 Grammy Awards Red CarpetIt’s being reported that the “rappa ternt sanga” we all know as T-Pain had to cancel a show in the South American country of Guyana after receiving death and kidnapping threats via e-mail and telephone.

T-Pain, the Florida-born hip-hop and R&B performer whose real name is Faheem Najm, was scheduled to perform a concert in that South American nation on Monday night as part of its Mashramani festival, which celebrates Guyana’s independence from Britain. But the show’s promoter canceled the event after receiving what he said were “credible death and kidnapping threats” against T-Pain via e-mail messages and telephone calls. A police commander for the area told The A.P. that the local authorities were investigating.

Damn, we wonder what T-Pain did to piss Guyana off! We’d hate to see how they’d react to a Chris Brown performance…

Kanye West & T-Pain

Here’s “Flight School,” a brand new track from Kanye West and T-Pain. It feels good hearing Kanye actually rap again. You can only appreciate 808’s and Heartbreak a few times and after that everything begins to sound redundant. We’re definitely looking forward to a new album from Ye though. T-Pain and a few cast members from Saturday Night Live created a music video parody that aired on the popular sketch comedy series a couple of weeks ago. This song is funny as hell and what makes it even more funny is the fact a song like this would probably take over the radio for a littl while, don’t you agree? Props to The Rundown for the video!

LISTEN: BUSTA RHYMES – “BLOWN”

Busta Rhymes has come back to bless us with “Blown,” featuring T-Pain. Busta is on his eighth album, B.O.M.B. and his latest project’s release is slated for early 2009. The production is vicious and Busta blows through this track just as viciously. I recommend everyone to buckle up because this year looks like it will belong to BUSTA, BUSTA!!!!! And, I’m a huge fan of this man’s energy… He never gives up!

Here it is folks, the official premiere of T-Pain’s latest music video, featuring Chris Brown – “Freeze!” The video, directed by Syndrome, is a visual story for T-Pain’s latest single, from his album, Thr33 Ringz, and follows suit with Pain’s previous music videos (Can’t Believe It and Chopped & Skrewed) as far as visuals and effects goes. The Konvict Musik artist is currently on tour with Lil’ Wayne, Keyshia Cole, Gorilla Zoe and Gym Class Heroes in the “I Am Music” world tour.

After releasing two insanely ill music videos for “Can’t Believe It” featuring Lil’ Wayne and “Chopped & Skrewed” featuring Ludacris, the “rappa ternt sanga” we all know as T-Pain is definitely going to have to come hard for his next music video – “Freeze” featuring Chris Brown. Check out a behind the scenes clip of the video, which should be released any day now. The video features a lot of dancing, and will mimick the same look as the previous two – lots and lots of effects and sick graphic work. Keep checking back to see when we post it!!
