Here Jamie Foxx can be seen paying tribute to Michael Jackson (comedically, of course) as the host of the 2009 BET Awards, which aired live from Los Angeles Sunday night (Jun 28) on BET. Jamie Foxx is probably one of the few people who can make light of a sad situation and have everyone laughing and crying at the same time. The BET Awards was supposed to dedicate the entire show to Michael, per the press release sent out Friday, but failed to impress.

The show itself was pretty good, but they should have never mentioned dedicating the show to MIchael if they didn’t have the time to do it right. That said, we really hope they put together an entire special to honor the late King of Pop so they can at least try to save face. If you’ve had your doubts about the joint album between T-Pain and Lil Wayne then worry no more. According to Mr. Teddy Penderass himself, they’ve already recorded a dozen tracks for their T-Wayne album, which he says is going to come out “whenever.”

“We got 12 songs right now,” Teddy P told MTV News recently about the T-Wayne sessions. “We going slow; there’s no rush. It can come out whenever. We’re gonna keep it pushing, however. It’s gonna be pushed.”

Hip-hop star T-Pain and his wife Amber welcomed a baby boy into their family earlier this month. Andy Samberg from Saturday night live (and The Lonely Island) broke the news on at a recent appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The Lonely Island and T-Pain were set to perform their hit sketch comedy song “I’m On A Boat” on Jimmy Fallon’s show, but Samberg said T-Pain’s new baby forced him to pull out at the last minute (no pun intended).

Here’s the music video for “Download,” Lil Kim’s debut single from her upcoming album Vintage, which has no release date as of yet. The song features T-Pain and Charlie Wilson but due to T-Pain being involved in an unfortunate golf cart accident, which left the artist bruised, scraped and missing four teeth, he was unable to film his scenes so they put Charlie Wilson in the video instead.
