Up and coming rapper Wale recently sat down with Honey Mag and touched on a few things, including relationships, his female fans, his new album and a hot topic we all would like to know more about … his “relationship” with singer Solange:

“I do love her,” he admits of Solange, flashing a Cheshire. “We’re friends. She’s amazing. She’s a good person. Any single mother contributing to society the way she does — I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age, so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly. And the way she can do that and manage to do the same things that I complain about having to do.”

His affection is as obvious as a set of flushed cheeks. And impossibly adorable. Wale, the former mixtape rapper from inner city DC, is borderline giddy.

“Did you interview Solange about me?” Wale asks. He’s sprawled across his bed; head practically buried in the pillow. “Did she smile when you mentioned my name?”

There may be another child joining the Knowles clan, but not by the woman we know as Tina Knowles! Beyonce and Solange’s father, Mathew Knowles has had a paternity suit filed against him by TV actress Alexandra Wright. Wright is in her late 30s, lives in LA, and has appeared as a guest in shows like “Scrubs” and “JAG.” She has been pregnant for six months and has hired attorney Neal Hersh to handle the case.

Mathew Knowles has been married to Tina Knowles since 1980 (and are now separated), but we’re not so surprised. There have always been scandals involving Mathew but they’ve always been resolved outside of the court so we can’t wait to see his this one pans out.

Singer (and mommy) Solange recently sat down with Honey Magazine and talked about a lot of interesting things, including raiding Bjork’s closet, fashion, her new haircut, her son  and her new album, among other things. She even touched a bit on her “relationship” with rapper Wale, which she sort of denied but at the same time left the possibility open.

Well, speaking of assumptions. I think a lot of people have been zeroing in on Twitter convos between you and a certain Mr. Wale, automatically linking the two of you together. Then we see Central Park photos…
Riiiight.

Whether we’re rooting for it or not… we just want to know.
Well, he’s definitely not my boyfriend.

Well, we can cross that off the list.
No, I just stated that he’s not my boyfriend, but we are good friends. I have worked with him in the past and I think he’s uber-talented. I think he’s really smart and really creative. And I respect his art. We have a mutual thing. We’re on the same record label and yeah…

Beyonce and her younger sister Solange attended a press conference early Monday (Aug 10) at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel in Japan to promote the “Samantha Thavasa & Disney Handbag Collection.”

This is the first time Solange has made a public appearance without a wig since she cut her how down really short a while back. We actually think she looks good here!

News of Solange shaving her head has spread through the online world like wildfire and naturally, some have only had negative things to say about it and Thursday (Jul 23), she became the #3 trending topic on Twitter, directly before the Iran Election.

Solange, who has never kept herself from speaking her mind took to her Twitter to express her frustration and disappointment. After the rant (even though she says it’s not a rant because she is about to enjoy Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles with her son), she posted a video of her singing her song ”F*ck the Industry” live.
