Snoop Dogg plans on snatching up Waka Flocka the next time he sees him!

The Doggfather recently called into Big Boy’s Neighborhood radio show and revealed that he’s going to put the Brick Squad rapper in his place for dissing Wiz Khalifa a few weeks back.

“I’ma holla at Waka Flocka. That’s where big Uncle Snoop come in at, ’cause we ain’t about that negativity and none of that beef. We too old for that,” Snoop said. “I’ma snatch him up by the collar and say, ‘Look here, partna. You got somethin’ to say to Wiz, get at him personally.’ We peaceful. We on nothing but peace right now.”

“I love Wiz ’cause he got the right spirit that Hip Hop needs. Too much negativity in the industry that always overwhelms his kind of spirit, and I’m here to let people know that this is the right kind of spirit.”

We figured Snoop would jump in the middle of this and save his boy Wiz! Wonder what Waka has to say about all of this?

Snoop Dogg’s chronic smoking habits finally caught up with him over the weekend.

The Doggfather was arrested in Texas for marijuana possession after a canine dog discovered less than an ounce of weed on his tour bus.

According to TMZ, Snoop’s bus was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca…the same town where Willie Nelson was caught with weed in 2010.

Border patrol ran a standard inspection of the bus with the dog … when the animal alerted the agents to a possible hit in a waste basket in the back of the vehicle.

The agents claim they found a red prescription bottle with several joints inside. We’re told the bottle contained under a half-ounce of weed.

Cops say Snoop admitted the dope belonged to him. Snoop has a prescription for cannabis in California, but law enforcement tells us, there is a zero tolerance policy for weed in Texas … regardless of his status in other states.

Snoop was issued a citation for misdemeanor drug possession and released. If convicted on the drug charge, Snoop could face up to 180 days in jail.

First it was Willie Nelson, and now Snoop has been arrested for weed.

What is this world coming to?!?

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa take high school by storm in their new music video “Young, Wild & Free” featuring Bruno Mars.

The song is featured on the soundtrack to the rap duo’s new movie “Mac and Devin Go to High School,” which is due out next month.

Snoop Dogg turns 40 years old today, and the rapper celebrated the momentous occasion with a party at The Rolling Stone Lounge this past Tuesday night (Oct 18) in Hollywood with his wife Shante and some of his Hip-Hop friends, including Dr. Dre, Warren G, Tyrese and Bootsy Collins, as well as Rihanna’s ex boyfriend Matt Kemp (of the L.A. Dodgers) and a couple of other athletes.

The legendary Chaka Khan was also in the building and sang “Happy Birthday” to the birthday boy.

Drake made a surprise appearance last night (Sun. Jun 19) as he and Justin Bieber accepted an award together at the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Canada. The hometown heroes both tied for “Video of the Year by a Canadian” award for Drake’s “Find Your Love” and Justin’s “Somebody to Love (Remix).”

Lady Gaga was the big winner of the night, taking home two awards: one for “International Video of the Year” for “Judas” and the other for the UR FAVE International Video for “Born This Way.” Other winners included Far East Movement and Fefe Dobson. Justin Bieber also took home a UR FAVE award, giving him 2 wins for the evening.

There’s no denying that Nate Dogg had the ability to turn a good rap song into an unforgettable hit with his catchy hook and familiar sound. And now, Nathaniel “Nate Dogg” Hale’s two sons, Nigel (18) and Little Nate (15) want to follow in their late father’s footsteps and “try to be just like him.”

Little Nate, 18, and Nigel, 15, say that they plan on working with West Coast artists like Game, DJ Quik and their “Uncle Snoop.” While the duo are still writing and have not recorded anything yet, Nigel says that their plan is to “make it like my father.” “Like father, like son, you know?” Little Nate chimes in.

At the end of the clip, Little Nate flashes a preview of his rhyming skills, although he’s not sure his father ever got to hear him rap. “I don’t think he woulda liked it. He didn’t like me cussing too much,” he says with a smile.

At the 2011 Kids’ Choice Awards in L.A. on Saturday, Snoop told OK! Magazine that he thinks the track is dope:

“I thought it was dope. I love sensations like that, you know, things that become hot.”

The Doggfather also added that Black should make a follow-up song called “Saturday.”

“Make another one! Call it ‘Saturday’ come on back!”

Snoop has already teamed up with Charlie Sheen. Wonder if he and Rebecca could make some magic? Well … we know he will do his part at least.

A musical collaboration featuring Snoop Dogg and Charlie Sheen isn’t one that you come across every day. The Doggfather recently paid a visit to George Lopez‘ late-night talk show “Lopez Tonight” and revealed that he and the Warlock of all Warlocks are, as he put it, “trying to put some real crazy music together.” (And we expect nothing less when it comes to anything involving Charlie Sheen.)

“Me and Charlie, we working on something right now in the studio, trying to put some music together. Something real crazy,” the West Coast rapper told George Lopez on Thursday’s Lopez Tonight. “He’s a brilliant guy. I’m having so much fun just being around him. I love having relationships with different people who aren’t the normal, who aren’t the usual. We’re making some real classic material. We’ll probably put something on Twitter in like three or four days.”

Snoop, who released his new album the Doggumentary earlier this week, also spoke on selling weed to Cameron Diaz back in high school.

“I might have sold her some of that white girl weed — sticks and stems and seeds.”

Just gotta love this smooth talking brother.

Rapper Snoop Dogg immortalized the legacy of his fallen brother Nate Dogg by tattooing  a picture of  the deceased singer’s face on his left forearm along with the words “All Doggs go to Heaven.”

Nate Dogg was laid to rest in his native Long Beach, California over the weekend (Sat. Mar 16). The Nate Dogg Memorial Trust has been set up in his honor with 100% of the proceeds going towards Nate’s family and memorial expenses.

This past Saturday morning (Mar 26), thousands of family, friends and fans showed up to pay their respects to fallen rap legend Nate Dogg, who was laid to rest in his hometown of Long Beach, California.

Nate’s longtime musical running buddies including Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Game, DJ Quik, and others were also on hand to pay their respects to the late singer.

“1986, Poly High School, that’s where we connected for the first time,” an emotionally distraught Snoop reflected on his friend. “We didn’t know each other, but the music connected us. We built a brotherhood, a friendship.”

Nate first met Snoop, along with his best friend, rapper Warren G, at Poly High School where they would go on to form the rap trio 213.

Warren G spoke briefly about his fallen friend during the service.

“It hurts me so much to see this,” Warren G said somberly while looking down at the casket. “We been through a whole lot and that was my dog. He stayed down with me from the bottom to the top. I didn’t ever think I would have to sit at a funeral for one of my dogs. All I can say is that was my friend, me him and Snoop was 213 from the balls to the walls. The music industry lost an incredible artist.”

Rod McGrew acted as Nate’s manager throughout his music career and was with him up until his last days.

“He fought a hard fight,” McGrew said. He also thanked Dr. Dre and Eminem, in addition to Snoop, Warren G and Xzibit, for assisting the family in getting through the past several days. “The last three years were unbelievable. He didn’t give up. He just had a talk with God and gave up. Two hours before that he was fine.”

McGrew said that with Nate’s passing, the singer’s three wishes will now be granted.

“He wanted to go to heaven and hang with his boys,” McGrew said. “He loved Tupac. He recorded with him. He wanted to hang with Biggie. But the most important thing is that he can walk around heaven with his favorite artist of all time, Michael Jackson.”

All Doggs go to heaven. Rest in peace Nate Dogg…

Snoop Dogg is coming under fire for promoting a new, caffeine-laced alcoholic drink that has triggered calls for its ban even before it officially goes on sale next month. The drink, called Blast by Colt 45, is the brainchild of Pabst Brewing Company, and  is scheduled for release on April 5.

The 23.5 ounce drink has a 12 percent alcohol content and comes in grape, raspberry watermelon, strawberry lemonade and blueberry pomegranate flavors. Critics say it is a hazard for young people because it can be confused with soft drinks.

“You look at this product, and you think it’s a fruit drink,” said John Challis, senior vice president of Daytop Treatment Services, aimed at rehabilitating substance abusers. “They (breweries) are creating a demand, and then offering the supply.”

New York City Councilman Robert Jackson recently called for Blast to be banned in New York.

“Blast, along with similar drinks, is specifically targeted to younger people,” said Jackson’s aide, Martin Collins. “In the short term, a drink like this masks and shrouds the effects of alcohol. That’s dangerous for our young people.”

Damn. Looks like Snoop’s really in the doghouse on this one.

Moments after it was announced that Nate Dogg had passed away, the Doggfather posted the following to his account last night:

The world of Hip-Hop has lost another one…

After a lengthy battle with health issues over the past several years, Rap star Nate Dogg died Tuesday (Mar 15).

Nate Dogg, real name Nathaniel D. Hale, was famous for his vocal collaborations with rappers like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Warren G, Dr. Dre and many others. Nate had survived strokes in 2007 and 2008 and was said to be undergoing physical therapy before his death.

Nate Dogg was 41 years old.

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa have their heads up in the clouds…

In a recent interview with DJ Skee on his Sirius XM show, The Doggfather revealed that he and Wiz will be coming out with a movie titled “High School” on 4/20 (National Weed Day). The two will also drop a soundtrack for the film…….which will feature their newest collaboration “That Good”.

During his visit, Snoop also spoke on watching the “Black and Yellow” rapper blossom into the artist he is today.

“It’s beautiful to see him gradually grow from somebody that’s hustling to the whole world starting to pay attention and respect him for who he is.”

This should be interesting….

Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa are joining forces to kick off 2011 right!

TMZ cameras recently caught up with the rapper and, when asked about how he felt about his fellow pothead being arrested, Snoop really went IN! In fact, he even has a few words for the cop who arrested the music legend. Peep what he said below:

“Man, they better leave Willie the f**k alone man! Willie Nelson is a legend, y’all need to back up off and have a certain amount of respect for your elders. Who’s the motherf**ker that arrested him? The track is a certified club banger….and according to the Doggfather is dedicated to Prince William’s bachelor party.

“When I heard the royal family wanted to have me perform in celebration of Prince William’s marriage, I knew I had to give them a little something. ‘Wet’ is the perfect anthem for Prince William or any playa to get the club smokin’”

Chris Brown busted some seriously twisted, back-bending dance moves as he performed live on stage at the “Takers” LA Premiere after party at the ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome last Wednesday night (Aug 4).
