The stars were out Monday night (May 7) at the 2012 MET Costume Institute Gala in New York City.

The costume ball was attended by a ton of actresses, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Stewart, Lea Michele, Rosario Dawson, Rashida Jones, Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Biel and more.

Actress Sarah Jessica Parker opens up about her family life and what it’s like raising young twins (born via surrogate mother) at 46 years old in her cover story for the August 2011 issue of Vogue Magazine.

Although SJP and her husband Matthew Broderick have a nanny to help take care of their twins Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, the couple refuse to have someone else raise their kids, including 8-year-old son James Wilkie.

“We don’t have any live-in help. We’re pretty hands-on parents. That’s something that’s important to both of us, and we don’t shirk it, because what’s the point in having a family if you’re not going to really participate in it, you know?”

In the article, SJP also describes which parent the twins are looking like more and more everyday.

“Tabitha’s very, very outgoing, but physically she’s very shy. She shakes in elevators; it’s very sweet, like Bambi. And then Loretta is pale, like my husband, with piercing blue eyes. But she’s physically bold… I think it’s funny how much she looks like my husband. Except then I look at Loretta and she has my husband’s mouth and sort of sad eyes, you know the kind that go down? The Broderick eyes. They both really look like him.”

Sarah even explains the differences between herself and her “Sex and the City” character Carrie Bradshaw.

“Bradshaw’s life is nothing—nothing—like mine. I loved playing her, and it changed my life in lots of wonderful ways, but I’m not a crazy shoe lady, I don’t think about fashion all day long, although I have a great respect for the industry… I ultimately chose to stop doing the television series because I felt like it required, and deserved, a lot of time when I really wanted to be a parent.”

The stars of Harry Potter (L to R: Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson), posed for pictures in one their last red carpet appearances together Monday (Jul 11) at the U.S. premiere of the final HP movie, “Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 2″ in New York City.

Other celebs spotted on the red carpet were Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Jessica Parker, America Ferrera and Melissa Joan Hart.

Many stars came out in support of the “Harry Potter and The Deathly Hollows, Part 1” premiere in New York City on Monday (Nov 15). We think it’s safe to say that the HP mania has taken off again!

While some came in solo, others like Sarah Jessica Parker and Joey Fatone (formerly of *N Sync) took their children to see the long awaited part one of two films for the final chapter of the hit movie series.  Lourdes Leon, known for her clothing brand with mom Madonna, was also in attendance as well as Keri Russell, Melissa Joan Hart, Gaboury Sibide and Viola Davis.

The male stars of the movie Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton and Ralph Fiennes were all suited up and dapper on the black carpet, while Hermione (Emma Watson) looked absolutely gorgeous in a simple, long, sleek black dress.

Lots of celebrity women (excluding Howard Stern & Donald Trump) came out to catch the “Sex and the City 2″ movie premiere, presented by Mercedes-Benz and Maybach, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City Monday night (May 24). Some of the celebs at the premiere were Ashanti, Vanessa Williams, Sarah Jessica Parker, Gabourey Sidibe, and Wendy Williams. SATC2 is due to hit theaters tomorrow (Thu May 27).

Angeline Jolie has beaten out her hubby’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston to the top of Forbes’ new list of high-earning actresses. In the last 12 months, Jolie grossed $27 million, $2 million more than Aniston. Most of her income came from her 2008 action film Wanted and her paycheck for her new film Salt. There’s rumors of Jolie making an appearance in the Wanted sequel, even though she killed herself in the first one. Expect her to top the list next year if she is cast.
