Hosted by comedian Ricky Gervais for the third consecutive time, the 2012 Golden Globes’ red carpet also saw appearances from Jessica Alba, Jane Lynch, Mary J. Blige, Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Heidi Klum, Salma Hayek, Ryan Seacrest, Owen Wilson, and Jessica Biel, among many others.

Ryan Seacrest was spotted giving his girlfriend Julianne Hough a poolside smooch over the weekend at their Miami Beach hotel Saturday afternoon (Jul 16). The pair, who have been dating since last summer, were accompanied by Julianne’s brother Derek, her mom and an unidentified female friend.

The power couple were in Philadelphia the day before at a Children’s hospital to officially open a new technology suite called “The Voice,” which allows the young patients to escape their medical issues by deejaying songs and conducting interviews from the hospital grounds.

L.A. radio station KIIS FM held their annual Wango Tango concert last Saturday night (May 14) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The event was hosted by Ryan Seacrest and co-hosted by Britney Spears, while stars like LL Cool J, Paris Hilton, Jordin Sparks and more were in the mix and spotted on the red carpet. The concert also featured performances by Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, Pitbull, Ke$ha, Selena Gomez, Lupe Fiasco and many others.

NBC recently revealed that the TV personality/producer wants to create a brand new talent competition show with his production company Ryan Seacrest Productions.

Paul Telegdy, head of alternative programming at the network tells the New York Post that the project is “another music concept, which is a totally different kind of competition show.” He added: “It is self-contained episodes. It is a bit more fun. It’s not contestant competitive. It’s artist competitive.”

Ryan’s contract with Fox ends in 2012, and since the planned show with NBC is in the very early stages of development, it’s too soon to say for sure whether his involvement would mean he is leaving “American Idol” for good. His current contract with Fox prevents him from appearing on any other broadcast network until next year

Paul said: “It can take anywhere from 12 months to two years to develop anything these days.”

Wonder what Simon Cowell has to say about all of this!

Known as the hardest working man in entertainment its no wonder Ryan Seacrest has the pulling power when it comes to landing interviews with huge stars.

His latest subject was pop princess and fashionista Rihanna. The “Only Girl in the World” singer stopped by Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show on Wednesday and the two covered a lot of topics, such as men being intimidated by her, Khloe & Lamar, collaborating with Britney Spears, and her suggestive “S&M” song.

On men being intimated by her:
Not to sound crazy, but yes. That’s very difficult because it’s a lot for them to handle. Especially being in the public eye, it could be difficult, it could be tricky. There’s going to be someone who’s not intimidated or not afraid to put me in my place.

On Khloe & Lamar:
Besides me being single, it makes it really difficult to watch Khloe and Lamar! They’re so in love. I mean, they’re so cute, it really is so great to see a little bit into their personal lives because people are so judgmental from the outside in; but really and truly, they have such a magical connection and it was really special to see that.[Ryan: They're 'gooey' passionate in love with each other] Which is why I hate them! I’m not watching it next week!

On her S&M remix with Britney Spears:
It was all within less than a week. We knew we wanted to put out a remix but we were just trying to figure out who so I asked my fans on Twitter who they would they most want me to collaborate with, without giving them any ideas. We already had Britney in our mind but it came back Britney was one of the most popular names, so it was like ‘Okay, perfect. Then we had to see if Britney would even be into it and we had to wait on that, and after she got back to us it was an automatic, it was a go. She was like, ‘I would love to do it,’ she was very, very great, very professional. And she worked really hard at it, she went right to the studio and got it done and it came back, and now the world gets to hear it.

On her ‘S&M’ Song:
It’s very provocative if it’s taken in the literal terms, but when I first heard this record, I automatically knew that those words didn’t mean…it was more about my love/hate relationship with the media and I automatically knew what the song meant to me. I wanted to make that apparent in the video, in the visual aspect, so people could really see the underlying message and get it. It’s still…when you listen to it, you just hear the words and that’s why people respond to it that way. The video got banned in a lot of countries even though I didn’t think it was that raunchy. I thought it was fun and funny and quirky, but again, people just hear the words.

Your favorite rapper has NOTHING on this guy. According to the Hollywood Reporter, radio host turned entertainment mogul Ryan Seacrest will earn a whopping $55 million this year alone! (No wonder Spencer Pratt wants to be this guy’s intern.)

36-year-old Seacrest, who was recently named the most powerful man in reality television, will be paid handsomely for his roles on American Idol, his morning radio show “On Air with Ryan Seacrest”, and his producing jobs (“Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” etc.)

The bulk of Seacrest’s earnings come from his radio contract with Clear Channel, which is reportedly worth $20 million a year. (My God!)

He is also paid around $15 million from his television deal with American Idol’s parent company CKX and has a “mega-deal” with NBC Universal for his television projects.

Ryan also earns from his work on specials such as ‘Dick Clark’s New Years’s Rockin Eve‘ and for his brand partnerships with Coca-Cola, Microsoft and ‘Proctor & Gamble‘.

When asked what title should be placed next to his name on business cards, Ryan simply said, “busy or tired.”

Makes you kind of re-evaluate your life doesn’t it?

Everyone wants a fresh start at some point or another, and self-proclaimed fame whore Spencer Pratt is no different.

The 27-year-old has said that he would like to be an intern for media mogul Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show. According to reports, Pratt personally wrote an email to Seacrest’s talent booker Amy Sugarman asking for a 5-week period to prove himself.

He wrote: “I’m trying to change my image and make myself more likable.” Pratt even went a step further and called in to speak with Ryan during his show on Thursday and said:

“How do you go from being hated to even a little bit likable? It’s about who you’re around. I’ve learned you need to be around likable people to even start to be likable. Who’s the most likable person in America, if not the world? That would be Ryan Seacrest. I got a nice nine-month vacation living on the beach collecting sand dollars, and I really got to reflect and realize that in entertainment, you can definitely go too far. I’m ready to start a whole new chapter.”

Spencer Pratt aka the “coat tail tugger” just needs to go somewhere and have a seat. For real.

If Simon Cowell‘s new U.S. version of the “X Factor” just so happens to premiere to good ratings this fall, Ryan Seacrest says he’s looking out for a very special phone call from the former “American Idol” judge.

The 36-year-old AI host recently appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and spoke on Cowell’s upcoming show, saying that his “frenemy” will call him and gloat about his new showing being a big ratings winner, even though he failed to even mention the new version of American Idol in a recent phone call.

“Actually I did hear from him, I spoke to him when he was overseas on a little bit of a break and he didn’t comment about the new show,” Ryan Seacrest told Jimmy Kimmel. “No he didn’t bring up the new show. But he likes to keep his opinions to himself. He will be the first to congratulate himself on his new ratings by sending me a fax of the ratings to my house the day after the new season premieres.”

Gotta love the “friendly” rivalry Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell have!

The four AI personalities, dubbed “The New Team Idol,” reveal that the show will be much different now that Simon Cowell has left the building.

“It’s aged the show down a bit,” deadpans Seacrest of Cowell’s absence, while Jackson laughs. “There are less clouds of smoke. We start earlier. There’s less — what is that English dish he always ordered for lunch? Shepherd’s pie? He loves shephrerd’s pie.”

“No, it’s the blood pudding,” jokes Jackson, before he turns serious. “Look, it’s definitely been interesting. We definitely miss [Simon], but it’s a different kind of vibe. It’s a different kind of energy now. And I think in season 10 the show actually really needed it….It’s not about replacing him or any of the others: Paula, Ellen, Kara, anybody else. People have been saying to us, ‘Who’s mean?’ We’ve all traded off on that because I think you have to always give people the truth, no matter what.”

“We’re more of a collaborative judging group,” adds Lopez. “We’re always leaning over to each other and saying, ‘Oh my God, I think she’s good.’ ‘Oof, I don’t get it.’ ‘You don’t like it?’ I mean, not in a way where it becomes disrespectful to [the contestant’s] moment, but we discuss things. We just have a totally different style than any of the past judging tables.”

And what has Tyler made of all the talent he’s seen auditioning for the show? “It’s just astounding,” he says. “We throw the drift net out and look what comes up? Gold. [I’m] crying, honestly, from someone who hit the notes so sweetly and beautifully, not just that it’s the end of the day and thank God this motherf—er is the last one. Not that.”

“See?” smiles Seacrest. “It’s going to be an all-new show.”

Today (December 1st) is World Aids Day, and Alicia Keys has teamed up with her husband Swizz Beatz, along with Kim Kardashian, Jay Sean, Ryan Seacrest and Serena Williams to promote awareness for HIV/AIDs. In honor of Keys’ Keep A Child Alive Foundation, the celebs mentioned have died a “digital” death and are posing in coffins to raise money for AIDs research to help find a cure for the deadly disease.

In addition, everyone is sacrificing their digital lives to help save real lives by not updating their Twitter and Facebook accounts until $1,000,000 is raised. Other participants in the campaign (not pictured) include Usher, Lady Gaga, Diddy, Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Hudson, and more. Once the money is raised, the celebs will “come back to life” and resume their digital lives on the popular social networking sites.

Christina Aguilera is quite a busy bee! The talented diva spent the day at her Hollywood Walk of Fame star’s unveiling yesterday (Mon. Nov 15) and attended the world premiere of her new movie “Burlesque” later on that night.

Her co-star Cher was also at the premiere in Hollywood wearing a short sparkling dress that showed off her still great figure.   Other stars who came out in support of the film were Debi Mazar, Kathy Griffin, Robin Antin, Will Ferrell, Ryan Seacrest and girlfriend Julianne Hough, and sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner. “Burlesque” will be out in theatres on November 24th.

Julianne Hough has finally opened up about her relationship with Ryan Seacrest!

The former pro-dancer recently appeared on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and spoke on how much of a romantic Ryan is.

“Oh my gosh, he’s phenomenal. He’s really romantic. He’s not even in town, and I got in my car and there are flowers everywhere. Like, flowers everywhere. I was almost embarrassed! You walk in and you’re like, ‘Is this my room? I don’t even know.’ I’m kind of embarrassed.”

She also went on to add that the two have already met each other’s parents…..and so far everyone is hitting it off pretty well.

“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, you met the folks!’ It’s like, ‘I don’t know. Both of our folks are like our best friends so when we hang out, it’s more like hanging out with friends.’”

How sweet……..

Professional ballroom dancer Julianne Hough and her BF “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest aren’t ready to tie the knot just yet!

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Julianne dismissed rumors saying that the two were engaged.

“Well, that’s news to me, and I think it’s news to him.”

The couple have been dating since around summer time….and have managed to keep their relationship very low key. But one thing they couldn’t hide was their trip in July to Italy….which Julianne adds included a large portion of eating.

“Eating, eating, eating, eating. I definitely had to get into shape for this movie after that little trip. But it was amazing.”

Guess there’s no need for a rush……

The “American Idol” host will be teaming up with E! and Lady Gaga’s choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson to launch a brand new reality TV show. According to the Hollywood Reporter:

“The network is piloting a project co-starring Lady Gaga’s choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson. Details are being fleshed out, but Gibson will be one of a few cast members on the project, which revolves around choreographers and dancers in Los Angeles.”

Wonder what they have up their sleeves?

The Black Eyed Peas, undoubtedly one of the biggest musical acts of the year 2009, also performed at the show (in Vegas), which aired live on ABC and was hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Dick Clark from Times Square, New York City.

Pop singer Rihanna paid a visit to KIIS FM’s “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” yesterday morning to promote her latest album Rated R and here are a few photos of her making her way to the Hollywood studio for the live radio interview.

In an earlier interview with popular New York City radio station Hot 97, Rihanna talked about how “humiliating” and “embarassing” it was for her when she found her her naked body had made its way onto the internet.

“It was the worst thing that could possibly ever happen to me. I just felt like my whole privacy was taken before that [with the other photo leak] and then, when that came out, I thought, ‘Oh great, so now there’s nothing they don’t know about me and my private life,’ ” she said. “It was humiliating and it was embarrassing – especially my mom having to see that.”

Nervous about her mother’s reaction to the second photo scandal, Rihanna sent flowers before calling to break the news, just two days before Mother’s Day. “I was nervous [but] when the world is against me she’s always there supporting,” said the singer.

Rihanna reportedly shot the music video for “Hard,” the third single from Rated R, yesterday and will finish the shoot today. Rapper Young Jeezy is scheduled to make a cameo in the video as he is featured on the track itself, which is (in our opinion) the hottest song on the album! And according to JustJared.com, the music video will be directed by Melina Moutsoukas, who also directed Ciara’s “Work,” Whitney Houston’s “Million Dollar Bill,” Robin Thicke’s “Sex Therapy” and several other videos.

Some knife toting 25 year old man named Chidi Uzomah has been trying to attack American Idol host Ryan Seacrest for the past few months. And the crazy dude was finally caught and arrested Friday (Oct 31) after trying to sneak into the officies E! Entertainment Television in Los Angeles where the TV personality was working.

Uzomah was already on probation for attempting to jump in a cab with the host last month and choking a bodyguard for trying to restrain him. The court document from this most recent incident states, “Uzomah was carrying a knife into the building on Friday.”

Seacrest filed a restraining order the same day, and now the charged stalker is being held on $150,000 bail.

In a recent interview with Ryan Seacrest, NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak of the Real Housewives of Atlanta got into it. But that’s a common occurrence with those two, so that’s not why we’re posting this video. We’re posting this simply for this final line NeNe said after Kim repeatedly accused her of choking her outside of a Target back in April:

“Why you wanna bring this up and it happened in April? Take me to court ’cause you know we’re gonna sit in jail together baby! With wigs and Newports … that’s what we’re gonna do.”
