Nine days before Demi Moore’s emergency Whip-It incident, the actress was spotted partying at Miley Cyrus‘ boyfriend’s birthday bash in L.A. (Yeah, the one with the penis cake!)

Sources at Club Icon say Demi spent most of the night drinking Red Bull and hanging out with her daughter Rumer Willis and friends in the V.I.P. section.

TMZ reports:

A few days later, Demi was seen clubbing with Rumer around Hollywood … and on January 23rd, she was hospitalized after inhaling nitrous oxide in the form of whip-its, a drug that’s super popular with high school kids.

People familiar with the situation tell us … it’s not hard to connect the dots. The woman who became famous for what people thought was eternal youth became a believer in the illusion, and it manifested itself in various ways — partying with her daughter and her 20-something friends, obsessing over her body image, and finally using drugs that appeal to people more than half her age.

What was going on in Trousdale on Saturday night (Nov. 15) that attracted so many female celebs? The bar located on the famous Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles was a hotspot this weekend for celebrities like model Alessandra Ambrosio, sisters Hilary and Haylie Duff, actress Mena Suvari and even celebuspawn Rumer Willis!

Rumer Willis and her boyfriend, actor Micah Alberti, have reportedly split up after dating for more than two years. Willis, 22, whose famous mother Demi Moore and stepfather Ashton Kutcher have been under fire for relationship woes of their own, seems to be bouncing back just fine. On Saturday, she headed to Tao in Las Vegas where last year she celebrated her 21st birthday. The Hollywood royalty hung out with Glee’s Mark Salling and his pal Chord Overstreet, who appeared on the hit show as well.

“Rumer was bouncing around the club having a great time just dancing,” says an onlooker. And proving she’s not dwelling, “Chord was flirtatious with Rumer,” says a source. “They had a lot of fun.”
