Rumors have been swirling about Rihanna and JR Smith since the two were photographed (above) at an event together. But Rihanna not only denies any romantic feelings toward JR, she condemns him as being “desert thirsty.”

Rihanna responded to a fan on Instagram after he jokingly said Rihanna was to blame for JR’s disappointing performance in this year’s NBA Playoffs. But RiRi fired back saying his problem far more to do with his lifestyle of clubbing than her.

Strange that she’s cite clubbing as a problem though … seeing as, that’s pretty much what her Instagram consists of.

The Chicago Sun-Times’ Bill Zwecker may not be the most reliable in the way of certain types of celebrity news, but he sure is one of the more fun people to read. In his latest gossip column, Bill-Bill claims that after Chris Brown and Rihanna sub-tweeted each other about their apparent breakup, “I’ve also learned that RiRi used a more old-fashioned approach to express her outrage at Brown: She picked up the phone and called him.”

So was a good old fashioned curse out session in order? The source told him, “She really blasted him, using language that made it sound like she never will get back with him again — no matter what people think.”

What do you think she say? “F**k you, your number-three pencil colored d**k, and your hyperactivity meets rage style of dancing. Don’t call me no more, bitch!”

Regardless of what she told Christopher Maurice, the singer was said to have gotten enraged when she heard Chris say in a radio interview that he wasn’t ready to be “wifing” someone as young as Princess Rih-Rih. The source added, “She really thought that was a sexist, degrading thing for him to say. Especially after all Rihanna endured after he beat her and all that.”

Sexist and degrading, you say? Gosh darn it, I’d never expect such behavior from Chris Brown. He’s such a well-spoken gentleman who speaks of women in the most respectable of ways.

How many more biopics does the world need? Hurry up and answer because by the end of this sentence, at least four more will have already received the green light. Although there already is a great made for TV film about the life of the iconic Josephine Baker starring Lynn Whitfield out there, a production company called Noosa Films wants to create their own version based on her autobiography Josephine.

The company reportedly recently secured the rights from French publishers, Editions Robert Laffont, and are already at work on getting the movie plans going. They even have a star in mind. Producer W. Lance Reynolds is hoping to convince Rihanna to take on the role.

In a statement, Reynolds said, “Rihanna is one of the most talented performers of this millennium and with her unique acting and performing abilities I have no doubt she will bring Josephine back to life on the big screen.”

Her performing abilities are unique alright. Rihanna is uniquely able to fill out arenas despite dancing like her left leg is asleep. I love the girl, but she’s about as consistent with performing well as Stevie J is with staying faithful.

This is Josephine Baker shaking a tail feather. Now have you ever seen Rihanna move with that sense of urgency? That is, besides to go roll a blunt.

Ciara was the special guest on the ‘Wendy Williams Show’ this morning where the Grammy winner discussed a wide array of topics like her new album, her new boyfriend Future, and her longtime feud with Rihanna. It not anything else, it made for quite an interesting interview.

Despite how Rihanna may have meant it, anyone who saw Richie’s “Bride of Frankenstein” look would probably conclude that it’s pretty gag-worthy. She looks like a struggling actor who was forced to take a job at a haunted house scaring teenagers.

Rihanna must have known that the post would cause a stir, so it’s unclear why she did it. Perhaps she felt she needed even more attention.

It’s also surprising that the “Stay” singer tore herself away from her Twitter war with Chris Brown.

On Tuesday, Rihanna, who split from Brown a few weeks ago, tweeted:

As Hollywood Life reported, the sultry Barbadian singer broke it off with Brown after she discovered that he had partied with his ex-girlfriend Karrueche in NYC.

The carousel ride that is Chris Brown and Rihanna‘s relationship is a dizzying tornado of passion, temper tantrums and weed smoking. But it looks like the pair might be heading in separate directions now.

According to numerous reports, Rihanna has followed Drake on Instagram and Chris has unfollowed Rihanna on Twitter. Drake and Chris, as you’ll recall, are not the best of friends, so Rihanna resuming her relationship with him is a pretty big sign that she’s no longer on Team Breezy. To make matters even worse, RiRi was pictured on Twitter hugged up with and kissing on some guy (probably a fan).

Well, well, well. It looks like Rihanna fans aren’t the only one who haven’t been pleased with the reunion of Chris Brown and Rihanna. While Mama Joyce has been onboard with the rekindled romance, Chris Brown’s father sees nothing but disaster in Chrianna’s future.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the New York Daily News, Chris Brown’s father Clinton Brown “spilled the tea,” as the kids say, on his feelings about his wild, rambunctious son getting back with the woman he once pummeled.

“I personally really didn’t want him and Rihanna back together. You have to have a balance in a relationship. You have to have someone who is spontaneous and whimsical but you also have to have someone who is grounded and logical,” the elder Brown said.

I see no lies. Tell the truth and shame the devil, Clinton.

The father also went on to compare the volatile relationship between Chris and RiRi to other famous celebrity relationships gone bad.

“I hate to use examples, but Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse — I mean I could go on and on!” he said.

Hmmm. I’m not sure the NYDN didn’t lead him with that quote, but again, no lies.

Who WOULD Clinton Brown like to see his son with? Apparently he’s on Team Jordin Sparks.

“I personally liked Jordin Sparks. She’s a wholesome young lady, very pretty,” he said.

Just when you thought the beef between Rihanna and Ciara had settled down, Ciara went and reignited it.

Ciara recently did an interview with Bay area radio station Wild 94.9, and when she was asked about her feud with Rihanna, CiCi had some not-so-nice things to say about RiRi.

“I think she’s nuts right now! Like whatever’s going on because for me it doesn’t make any sense,” Ciara said (via Necole Bitchie). “I don’t have beef with anybody, but I’m not going to be disrespected either. I wish her well. This isn’t the first time the two singers have gone back-and-forth with each other over social media. Just last month, Rihanna and her  BFF Melissa Forde took to Instagram to post a picture seemingly mocking Ciara. The word on the sidewalk is that Chris Brown and Rihanna have broken up … but not because they don’t like each other or anything like that (because as we all know, they really really do). Rihanna, who is currently wrapping up the final leg of her “Diamonds” tour, is said to be working on the launch of a new perfume, while also continuing her ongoing fashion campaigns, and coming up with new creative ideas for future concerts.

While there is no other man in Rihanna’s life, photos recently surfaced showing Chris Brown hanging out with a “mystery woman” at a nightclub in Los Angeles … but the woman in the pictures has made it clear that she and Chris are NOT dating, and she wants everyone to stop blaming her for Chris and Rihanna’s break-up.

22-year-old Keisha Kimball – a waitress at L.A.’s Playhouse nightclub –  tells TMZ, “I am always Chris’ waitress. I know him and am friends with his friends. Nothing has ever happened. I just work there. In the photos, he was handing me a bottle to drink out of. Of course people are going to twist it another way. I don’t go for black guys.”

Keisha — who says she’s not racist … it’s just a dating preference — adds, “Whatever is going on between Rihanna and Chris Brown is between them. I’m not trying to be a home wrecker.”

Keisha also mentioned how Chris is normally a great tipper, but last weekend? Not so much.

As for Chris and Rihanna’s “break-up,” TMZ’s sources confirmed that the two have indeed split, but that’s normal business for the notoriously on-again-off-again couple, who apparently go from break-up to make-up quite regularly.

When Chris Brown sat down with “Today” host Matt Lauer for an interview on Monday, he had one thing going for him. Fortunately for the singer, he had some tough competition when it came to the “worst Today show guest ever” award.

Nothing will ever be as bad as the “you’re glib” interview with Tom Cruise or the “Yikes! I must look away” chat with Kanye West.

Lauer started the interview by playing nice and talking about Brown’s music. But it wasn’t long before the conversation shifted to his relationship with Rihanna.

Funnily enough, Brown is now agreeing to talk about the his assault on the pop star over three years ago.

Lauer basically said what everyone was thinking and implied that Brown may only be behaving himself in order to make sure his album sells well.

Brown giggled uncomfortably through most of the questions that were asked and then reflected on what’s he’s learned since their highly publicized break-up and dispute.

“I think it’s just me proving myself once again and also me just being a man, and knowing what I did wrong and never doing it again. As for as me and her concerned, she knows my heart and I know her heart. I’m not really focused on the negative, everything about is positive for me. I did my 52 weeks of counseling and learned it was absolutely wrong.”

When asked if an similar incident would occur again, he said, “Absolutely not.” When asked if he and Rihanna had broken up, he insisted “We’re fine.”

Chris also talked about not being able to please everyone, and how “humbled” he was after “losing everything” … “but most importantly,” he said, was “knowing that what I did was totally wrong.”

And no, he didn’t curse anyone out or throw any chairs through any windows. Just in case you were wondering.

Overall, it sounds like Chris Brown is either finally growing up … or he has hired a damn good PR team. Maybe a little bit of both?

Now that Rihanna and Chris Brown are back on track, Chris is finally starting to take the reins of his career back. He famously eschewed the media after his assault on Rihanna. But he recently gave an interview with Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet and now he’s followed that up with a longer sitdown, in-studio interview.

While Seacrest was clearly chosen because he’s a softie, he did manage to get Chris to answer the questions we were all hoping for. Rap-Up took notes during CB’s interview:

On his relationship with Rihanna: “I just tried my best to be the best man I could be over the years and just show her how remorseful and sorry I was for the incident and that time was probably the worst part of my life and being that she has and she’s a wonderful person I’m eternally grateful and thankful.”

Yeah, I’d be thankful too if the woman I victimized launched a full-force campaign to wipe the slate clean for me too. Let’s hope that he does much better with his Caribbean treasure the second go round.

In addition to the bit about Rihanna, Chris also touched on his troubles with social media (it’s safe to he’s got a fucking problem), recording new music with Jennifer Lopez and more, including that altercation he had with a valet last month:

“By all means, I’m a great tipper. Ten dollars is not a problem…[it] was five dollar parking at the place…but before we went in, I gave the man $100 dollars. We had two cars. It’s five dollar parking. Okay, do the math. So when we came out he was like, ‘You know what? We need $20 for each car.’ And I said, ‘Sir, I just gave you $100.’ So he was like, ‘No, no we need $10.’ So he was just going around trying to see if he could get more money and I was like, ‘no,’ so by that time it was a situation.”

Rihanna gets ratchet in the strip club with T.I., Young Jeezy, Rick Ross and Juicy J on the remix to her latest single “Pour It Up.”

The line-up of the song is interesting, considering Young Jeezy and Rick Ross are supposed to be (or were) beefing. Of course T.I. completely murders the track with his verse, and you can’t have a strip club anthem without Juicy J.

Fox has exclusively taken on the upcoming worldwide premiere of Rihanna’s forthcoming documentary “Rihanna 777,” which is set to take place this coming May.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the documentary will give viewers a behind the scenes look at last year’s concert tour that hit seven countries in seven days to promote her seventh album ‘Unapologetic.’

Rihanna’s tour made several headlines last November as she flew 256 fans and international journalists with her on a Boeing 777 jet on a worldwide trek, which started in Los Angeles and traveled through Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London, and finally, back home to New York City.

The seven-day trip didn’t exactly leave the journalists happy though. They were more frustrated than anything as they complained about not having any access to Rihanna, along with the lack of sleep and food.

One journalist stated she was sick of the lack of Rihanna. Her last appearance on the plane with them was so brief and tense, that a photographer was even afraid to snap a picture.

The experience for those journalists had been a very unpleasant one, which left many of them wondering if this was the same pop star everyone has grown to love. But with all that said, this definitely paid off for Rihanna as her ‘Unapologetic’ album debuted at No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100, just a day after the tour ended.

Rihanna is currently on her “Diamonds” World Tour, which kicked off March 8^th in Buffalo NY, though Rihanna was forced to cancel two subsequent shows under doctor’s orders citing laryngitis. She has since recovered and is still continuing with the tour.

Chris Brown was just being Chris Brown a few nights ago when he hopped up onstage and the grabbed the mic from the DJ at Emerson Theater in Hollywood and offered some profane advice to the guys there on how to treat their women … because Chris Brown is a certified expert at knowing how to treat a lady right.

In the video footage obtained by TMZ, Chris shouted:

“Every guy in this building has said one thing to their female … If you’re not an insecure nigga, and you let her have fun with her friends, I applaud you. But you gotta say that one thing to her, and I made this shit up…”

Then he broke out into song:

In a recent interview with Chicago radio station 107.5 WGCI, Ciara responded to Rihanna and her BFF Melissa Forde throwing shade on her new “Body Party” single and the “bathroom acapella version” she uploaded to YouTube.

Earlier this week, Ciara posted a video to YouTube of her singing an acapella version of her new single “Body Party,” and out of nowhere, Rihanna’s BFF Melissa Forde appeared to mock the clip with a photo of them having a “viewing party” for the song, accompanied by the following tweet:

Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, but does that mean we will be hearing the pitter-patter of little feet soon for the musical couple? Well, maybe not now, but according to Rihanna’s Elle UK magazine cover, it will happen one day. “I will have a child,” the magazine headline states.

Rihanna graces several different covers of Elle UK for their April 2013 issue. On the main cover (above), she can be seen rocking a short haircut, along with a blue and white striped shirt and blue skirt. Inside the magazine, she opens up about her reconciliation with Brown, and the possibility of them starting a family together.

“We got a fresh start and I’m thankful for that … And right now that’s what we want, a great friendship that’s unbreakable,” she told the mag. “Now that we’re adults we can do this right.”

Rihanna also tells the magazine that she had her own reasons for taking Brown back, but that their love is very strong.

“I have my own reasons, very, very private reasons,” she continued. ”Very personal. A lot of things. Bottom line is … I know him. I had a lot to think about and I had a lot of time to think about it. I was trying to do this for myself … You don’t have that feeling (of everlasting love) with everybody so when you have it you don’t want to let go of it. I would definitely say that he (Chris Brown) is the one I have that kind of relationship with.”

RiRi also spoke on her social media presence and why she shares so much of herself on Twitter and Instagram.

“I Instagram everything about my life, whether it’s smoking piff, in a strip club, reading a Bible verse — how crazy, I know — or hanging with my best friend, who happens to be Chris,” she said. “I’m posting pictures of myself smoking piff to tell the truth about myself. I’ve got so much to think about, why bring all this extra shit by being dishonest?”

About having children, Rihanna says that it could happen within the next five or so years: “Shall I say this? I will probably have a kid… (who’ll be the father?) I can’t tell you that. It’s not my business. It’s God’s business.”

For Chris Brown and Rihanna fans that also tune into “Law & Order SVU,” last night’s episode was an odd mix of Déjà vu and “That’s So Raven.”

Last night’s episode featured (SPOILER ALERT!!!) fictional hip hop/pop star couple Caleb Bryant and Micha Green. The two were as popular as musicians can seemingly get.

One night while in the studio recording a duet, the couple finds themselves under the microscope after Caleb got violent with Micha. Soon after the police have arrested Caleb, pictures of Micha’s battered face are splashed across the news and even a tabloid magazine cover.

I’m sure there are a lot of feelings from the RiRi and Breezy stans. If I were Chris’s publicist, I’d be working overtime on damage control, but I think a lot of people will feel like it’s not an outrageous story.

I think this episode kind of says what we all assumed (or have heard) about what has already happened in the case — Rihanna trying to cover up for Chris, them sneaking around against the protective order, Chris not being 100 with what was going down — but then, about two thirds of the way through, it makes a right hand turn away from reality and begins to tell the story of what many likely speculate is a possible ending to the story.

Caleb shows up at a release party for their new song together, in clear violation of Micha’s court ordered protective order. When the detective on the case (Ice T, no less) learn that he’s in attendance at the event, they swarm the party. By the time they arrive, Micha’s mentor is lying on the ground shot dead, and just feet away Micha lies unconscious.

Soon after the altercation, police eventually get the truth out of Micha, that Caleb was not only in attendance, but fired the fatal shot to Brass, her “industry father.”

After Micha takes the stand and lies about her confession to police the night before, she and Caleb escape on vacation, but not before tweeting pictures of them on the beach, almost as if to taunt the police. When authorities see there’s nothing they can do, they imply that their hands are tied until “…the inevitable” happens.

When Micha unwittingly triggers Caleb’s rage … cut to Micha’s funeral. Well damn. (No really, you see his angry face coming toward a scared looking Riha…err, Micha, and then the camera cuts right to fans memorializing the singer with flowers and pictures after she’s been murdered. No lie. That’s exactly how the episode plays out.)

I’m on both sides of the fence with this one. Part of me says it’s really inappropriate to take this story that we are all more than aware of beyond the realm of what we’ve heard, and moves to what we “talk about around our kitchen tables,” as the episode’s guest star Wendy Williams would say.

The part of me that’s not comfortable says that it shines Chris and Rihanna in the most unfavorable of lights and starts the real life discussion’s advancement. The part of me that feels like it’s fair game says “we’re all thinking it,” And by “we’re all” I mean “I, along with many others.”

Listen. Whether we like it or not, Chris Brown and Rihanna are living a hybrid of “The Jacksons: An American Dream,” “What’s Love Got to Do With It,” and a Bobby and Whitney movie that is yet unwritten.

We ALL have an opinion about them. From the initial instance of domestic violence, to all the legal shenanigans that followed, to their seeming recent reunion — whether or not you care, you have an opinion.

But at the end of the day, what we think, what we feel, and all of the other things we create around them to make ourselves feel involved don’t matter to them. What Law & Order has done here was what they do best – they got us all talking. And watching. And doing that dunn-dunn sound.

Chris Brown and Rihanna are now back together, but it has been a long road for the on-again, off-again (then back on-again, then back off-again, then back on-again) couple.

Back in 2009, Brown and Rihanna attended Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party and what famously ensued afterwards sent the couple’s relationship into a media frenzy.

Brown and Rihanna got into an argument that resulted in him assaulting her, and he was arrested and charged with felony assault and making criminal threats. He was later sentenced to five years probation, one year of domestic violence counseling, six months of community service and was ordered to stay away from Rihanna. The order of protection was of course eventually lifted.

Rihanna spoke to Oprah last year about the incident and getting back with Brown, but he has remained tight lipped about it until now.

“Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals,” Brown said in a recent interview with the UK’s Mirror. “That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake.”

Brown also opened up for the first time since the couple got back together.

“[It took] serious making up,” he continued. “But she loves me – what can I say? I’m forgiven… but, yes, I worked hard for it.”

He also commented on a joke that Seth MacFarlane made about him at the Oscars.

“People attack me and criticize me, it happens all the time,” he said. “But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me any more. Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything.”

In the end, Brown said he has grown and learned what he has taken for granted.

“I’ve learned a lot since that night and I’ve grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted,” Brown said. “I didn’t understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through.”

Still reveling over the birth of his son Sebastian “The Bash” Taylor Thomaz … Wiz Khalifa was seen cradling the newborn at the hospital in their first photo together, which Amber Rose shared via her Twitter account early Friday morning (Feb 22) just hours after giving birth.

File this one under super duper sexy! Rihanna and Kate Moss are the cover girls for the March 2013 issue of V Magazine and for the shoot they are really oozing sex appeal.

In the photos Moss and Rihanna don skimpy, black outfits and on one cover Rihanna is nude and uses a skimpily dressed Moss in a provocative pose to cover her up. On another, the script is flipped, and Kate is nude, with Rihanna covering her body.

“Kate overheard us talking and she said, ‘I want to do it with you!’ Again, I  was like, Are you f—ing kidding me?” Rihanna said of the shoot.”I was dying on the  inside. All my fantasies coming true: Mario, V, Kate Moss.”

Although she was “dying on the inside,” Rihanna had no reservations about shooting the cover shot.

“And that was the best shot … Take her top off and put that b—h on my lap!” she said.

A new promo for an upcoming “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” episode features a storyline that some may find vaguely familiar.

According to the New York Post, the episode, titled “Funny Valentine” has been summarized as follows:

“A promising singer is brutally attacked by her boyfriend, a popular hip-hop star…but the victim refuses to aid the prosecution and…continues to put herself in danger.”

The episode was obviously inspired by the relationship between Chris Brown and Rihanna — who both continue to flaunt their romance despite the public’s rampant disapproval.

In the promo, a hip-hop star named Caleb Brown (played by Eugene Jones) attacks his pop star girlfriend Micha Charles (Tiffany Robinson), who is unable to end the relationship because as Mariska Hargitay’s character Detective Olivia Benson says, “he was a hold on her” and “going against him feels impossible.”

Following the assault, Caleb Brown (or “CB” — get it?) insists “I’m a lover. Not a fighter.”

In a bizarre twist that’s bound to ruffle a few feathers, someone winds up dead.

Maybe the pop star winds up dead at the hands of her abusive boyfriend, unless of course there’ s a twist and the fist happy rapper is made to look like the killer.

Or perhaps it’s the pop star who commits the murder while attempting to defend herself. That would be pretty shocking, no?

The whole idea of this episode is messy as hell, but we have to hand it to NBC for releasing a ratings goldmine.

Looks like Rihanna and Chris Brown have kissed and made up after their Valentine’s Day spat. The on-again-off-again couple seem to be back on again, as they have packed their bags and headed to Hawaii for Rihanna’s 25th birthday today.

“Pour it up pour it up! #birthdaybehavior,” Rihanna wrote on Instagram with the above photo.

Things didn’t seem so happy for the couple last week when it was reported that they avoided each other when they were both at a club in Los Angeles. Rihanna was reportedly upset with Brown for going out the night before with ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran.

However, it seems that Rihanna has let bygones be bygones and is partying it up with Brown and her family in Honolulu.

“We Allllll Here!” Rihanna’s little brother Rorry Fenty wrote on Instagram along with a group pic.

Rihanna’s birthday seems to have already gotten off to a good start as she was photographed earlier in the day walking hand-in-hand beach side with Brown:

We don’t know what Vin Diesel is going through, but it must be some serious heartache if he’s willing to embarrass himself on the world wide web, mumbling and moaning his way through a cover of Rihanna‘s “Stay.” Rihanna said she found love in a “hopeless place,” but it looks like all Vin Diesel found there was a projector and a karaoke mic.

The “Fast & Furious” actor posted the strange Rihanna cover on his Facebook page on Valentine’s Day and dedicated it to his “amore” repeatedly. We don’t who his “amore” is, but we think she (or he??) might find this video to be more of a Halloween gag than a romantic gesture.

Our favorite parts of Vin’s wacky serenade? When he raised the pitch in his voice for the man‘s part and those dreadful runs he tried to pull off at the end in an attempt to harmonize with Rihanna.

As awful as Vin was, we wouldn’t be surprised if someone auto-tuned this and landed Vin his first iTunes hit. If Kim Zolciak can do it, anybody can.

A man in London decided to fight fire with fire when he violently attacked Rihanna for getting back with her abusive boyfriend Chris Brown.

According to the New York Post, the incident occurred during London Fashion Week on Saturday night (Feb 16). The “S&M” singer was in the city to debut her new clothing line for the brand River Island, when she was assaulted by an unidentified man.

The assailant reportedly shouted at the singer, expressing his disgust with the star’s choice to reunite with Brown. He also tossed a soft drink at her. During the scuffle, which occurred outside of The Box nightclub,  Rihanna fell to the ground.

RiRi, who was famously attacked by Brown just over three years ago, was snapped wiping off a busted knee. The 24-year-old’s bodyguard injured his leg while attempting to apprehend the man.

Following the attack, the UK’s Sunday Times compared her to the late Princess Diana. Rihanna responded to the paper’s bizarre comparison via Instagram.

“Just so happens I came home drunk to this in a pile of papers outside my hotel room!” she wrote alongside a photo of the front page that she shared with fans. “My lil Bajan behind, never thought these many people would even know my name, now it’s next to Princess Diana’s on the front of a newspaper!”

“Life can be such a beautiful thing when you let it be #yourejealous,” she added.

The Barbadian stunner sparked controversy last week when she tweeted a photo of marijuana with the caption “Roses are green! Somebody knows how to make me happy.”

It was a not so sweet Valentine’s Day for Rihanna and Chris Brown. The two were spotted out in the same place, but they were definitely not together, and both made it clear that they didn’t want to be together.

Witnesses spotted the on-and-off couple at Hollywood’s Playhouse nightclub, but the duo came and left separately. Brown appeared first, with Rihanna arriving a half-hour later reportedly looking “startled and upset.”

Rihanna made sure not to be seated anywhere near Brown, and when he noticed she was in the club, he made a big scene by ordering several bottles of liquor for his table. Rihanna eventually left, staying at the club for only about an hour.

The reason for all the tension? Reportedly, Brown was out the night before with Karrueche Tran!

Brown made an unscheduled appearance at Topshop/Topman launch party at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood. His date for the star-studded event was reportedly Tran and that obviously did not sit well with Rihanna.

“She refused to sit with or even near him,” a witness said. “When she noticed he was there, she made a huge show of rubbing her presence in his face.”

Give it another week or so and Rihanna will be back to rubbing something else in Chris Brown’s face.

Rihanna showed off a more subdued side to her when she performed her newest single “Stay” at the Grammys the other night.

Today, Rihanna debuted the video exclusively on E! and simplicity is the word to describe it. Rihanna is filmed in a bathtub for the whole video and doesn’t even start singing along to the song until almost the end. She sports a half-shaven do and practically no makeup.

It’s a change for Rihanna, who usually looks utterly glamorous and is usually dancing up a storm in her videos. However, this video shows off Rihanna’s more mature and emotional side and helps her step out of her comfort zone.

The 55th Annual Grammy Awards were held Sunday night (Feb 10) in Los Angeles, and before the ceremony commenced, the stars were shining outside L.A.’s Staples Center, where fashionable celebs like Beyonce, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Drake, Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lopez and tons more all posed for photos showing off their hottest looks on the red carpet.

Four years ago, around this time in 2009, Rihanna and Chris Brown‘s puppy love relationship turned violent. Chris Brown beat and then abandoned Rihanna in the streets of L.A. just hours before the two were set to attend the 2009 Grammys.

But here we are in 2013 and Rihanna and Chris Brown are seated in the front row at the Grammys beaming, with their arms locked together.

Most people have very strong, visceral opinions when it comes to these two. Many Rihanna fans aligned themselves with feminists and domestic violence advocates in vehemently condemning Chris and his actions.

But the Rihanna Navy was put in a pickle when their heroine decided that it didn’t matter that Chris beat the hell out of her. She decided that love could overcome and heal the pain. The same hands that bruised her could also protect and nurture her.

So fans have been forced to either accept Rihanna’s decision to embrace Chris again or stay silent on the matter and pretend like they don’t notice Chris.

Choosing to ignore Chris, however, becomes a mission impossible with Rihanna inviting him more and more into her career and everyday life. He’s been featuring in her single artwork and now that they’re attending awards shows together, there’s no separating Chrianna.

Many people who supported Chris throughout the ordeal are happy to see Chris and Rihanna back together. Having his victim publicly pardon him makes Chris look lovable again.

It won’t work on everyone, but it’ll work on enough people. Already, you hear many claiming that the domestic violence assault was merely an “obstacle” that the couple had to overcome in their quest for “true love.”

So which camp do you fall in when you see these pictures of Chris and Rihanna together again? Is this true love or a twisted nightmare?

Bruno Mars opened the set with a performance of his hit single “Locked Out of Heaven.” The jam then segued into a duet with Sting, who pretty much sounded like he was on the original. Then they transitioned into the Police’s “Walking on the Moon.” But the knockout punch really came when Rihanna hit the stage to finish the crowd off with Marley’s hit “Could You Be Loved?” along with the reggae legend’s sons Ziggy and Damien Marley.

The audience was on its feet the whole time and the sheer delight and joy from legends commingling with the superstars of today’s generation is exactly why people tune in to these awards shows in the first place.

Many people have knocked Rihanna for her supposed inability to sing. Well, haters, eat your hearts out, because Rihanna pulled off a STUNNING performance of “Stay,” a ballad from her latest album ‘Unapologetic’ at the 2013 Grammys.

The song is a plea from one lover to another to fight the currents of distance and disillusion to just stay in the relationship. The song, written by Mikky Ekko, who also performed the song with RiRi, is a somber affair with levels of heartache and despair that are usually reserved for Adele.

Dressed in all black and surrounded by a black environment, the stage looked like a funeral. And in a way, it was. Many have connected the song’s lyrics to Rihanna’s reunion with Chris Brown, who as we all know savagely beat her in the past.

At this point, pretty much every song seems like it’s about Chris Brown, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Chris was doing a little twirl along with RiRi’s performance in support of his boo.

The big surprise, aside from Rihanna’s co-star Mikky looking like a subway performer who accidentally found himself on stage at the Grammys, was how GOOD Rihanna sounded. She held strong notes, belted and emoted like a blues legend.

We have to give props where they’re due: Rihanna SLAYED the Grammys.

Speculation, if any, surrounding the status of Rihanna and Chris Brown‘s relationship was officially put to rest on Wednesday (Feb 6) when the pop sensation showed up to support Brown in a Los Angeles County courthouse.

Some would consider that to be rather unsettling, considering Brown is currently serving probation for punching her in the face four years ago this Friday. Ironically, the last time these two appeared in a courtroom together, Rihanna was actually testfying against him.

Brown is back in court for failing to complete his mandated 180 days of community service. CNN reports that Brown’s mother presided over the 23-year-old’s court ordered service, most of which was never completed.

Yet Brown’s lawyer Mark Geragos is maintaining that the “Forever” singer was indeed hard at work in Richmond, Virginia, where the hours were to be completed.

Last month, Brown reportedly assaulted fellow artist Frank Ocean and in 2011, it was alleged that he flew into a violent rage following an appearance on “Good Morning America” after he was asked about his domestic violence dispute with RiRi. These instances were cited in court as violations of his parole. Brown is set to appear in court again in April.

Perhaps most puzzling is just how devoted Rihanna is to Brown. According to the Associated Press, the Barbadian stunner blew Brown a kiss as he entered the courtroom — because as most women know, there’s nothing sexier than a man facing legal action. **Insert obligatory eye-roll here**

Unfortunately for Brown though, Rihanna’s willingness to forgive won’t erase his criminal record.

Do you believe a leopard can change its spots? If not, well, too bad. Because Rihanna does.

The foul-mouthed, rebellious Barbadian-born pop star is finally speaking out in detail and without excuses about her decision to reunite with her convicted abuser Chris Brown in her cover story for the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

While she still resents people’s judgement of their relationship, she argues that even if getting back with Chris is a mistake, it’s a mistake she is entitled to make.

“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” Rihanna says in the new issue of Rolling Stone, out Friday, February 1. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

Girl, if you say so. After all, it’s your face on the line.

But somehow, for some reason, Rihanna believes that things will be really, truly, different this time.

“He doesn’t have the luxury of fucking up again,” she says. “That’s just not an option. I can’t say that nothing else will ever go wrong. But I’m pretty solid in the knowing that he’s disgusted by that. And I wouldn’t have gone this far if I ever thought that was a possibility.”

Rihanna added, “He made a mistake, and he’s paid his dues … He’s paid so much. And I know that’s not a place he would ever want to go back to. And sometimes people need support and encouragement, instead of ridicule and criticism and bashing.”

Yeah. This is pretty much textbook garbage from the domestic-abuse-victim-with-low-self-esteem playbook.

Either Rihanna believes she doesn’t deserve better than Chris, or she somehow believes she can will Chris Brown into good behavior. She can look at Whitney Houston’s failed marriage to Bobby Brown to see how trying to tame a bad boy turns out.

“It’s narcissistic, but whatever—everyone does it,” she says. “I’m capturing personality… Everybody has their thing they like or don’t like to see. It’s all in your head. That’s why people take their own pictures, because it’s difficult for someone else to capture what you seek.”

She also gives a little advice about taking the best portraits of yourself:

“Get a good light. Get a good angle on what’s working for you that day. If it’s boobs, make sure you hit that. If it’s face, make sure it’s fierce.”

And talks about the public’s opinion of her relationship with Chris Brown:

“People take the little bit of information they’re fed, and they draw a picture of who you are,” she says. “Most of the time it’s wrong.”

Also, on having not a single fuck to give while making her ‘Unapologetic’ album:

“When I was making this record I had no intention except the truth,” she says. “So whatever is there is real. It’s raw. That’s why the album is called Unapologetic.”

“I held back before. I didn’t show a lot of myself. I was very guarded,” she says. “I needed to be open and free and fearless. Basically say, ‘Fuck it.’ What’s the worst that can happen? They’ll hate me? They’ve done that before.”

On why “Diamonds” is her favorite song since “Umbrella”:

“It was so inspiring and uplifting,” she says. “It was giving me hope, that song. I was tired of angry love songs. Love doesn’t always have to be about breakups, and ‘We’re never going to be together again.’ It could be sweet. It could be, ‘Hell yeah! We’re diamonds!’”

Rihanna’s manager Ty Ty on how Chris Brown ended up on “Nobody’s Business” and why their team had no second thoughts about it:

“We don’t focus on the media, so it was never a question,” he says. “It’s all about the music. Everything else doesn’t even play a part in the studio.”

He insists that the record wasn’t made with Brown in mind. “The-Dream didn’t write it for them as a duet. Jay-Z and I were in the car together listening to the song, and we thought it would be a great duet. It sounds dope. It feels good. That’s how Chris ended up on the song.”

Before leaving the restaurant for the airport, Rihanna addresses one last question. It’s the biggest question surrounding the song: If her relationship with Brown is truly nobody’s business, then why make a record about it?

Baby, we swear it’s Déjà vu. The last time Rihanna hopped in the front seat with Chris Brown in a vehicle … things didn’t end so well.

But now that the two appear to back together, everything is all smiles. For now.

TMZ snagged this photo of the happy couple as they hit up a gas station convenience store. The two scooped up an Icee and other junk food, which shows that they’re clearly not worried about any New Year’s weight loss resolutions like the rest of us.

While we might not be sure how long this happy phase in their relationship will last, let’s just hope that things continue on this smooth path for the foreseeable future.

Everyone knows Rihanna is an exhibitionist … so it’s no surprise that she was “caught” (notice the quotes) by the paparazzi in the middle of her changing bikinis on a hotel balcony.

The “Nobodies Business” singer was in her home country Barbados during her Christmas vacation when the pics were snapped last Saturday (Dec 22), showing the singer completely nude at one point as she was changing from one bikini into the other.

When she was finished, she fired up a blunt and had quick session with Mary Jane.

It’s not clear whether or not Rihanna knew the paparazzi were there snapping away, but she seemed to be looking directly into the cameras in a few of the shots. Y’all know Rihanna don’t give no f**ks.

While the pics are pretty risque, they’re nothing new for Rihanna, who frequently posts racy photos of herself on Instagram, and has been photographed smoking weed so many times that there’s no point in keeping count anymore.

If there’s one thing that Rihanna has made clear, it’s that she doesn’t give f**k about anything or anyone. Unless that person is named Chris Brown.

She’s proven to be harsh, cold, tactless, rude and brash in her behavior in recent years, all in an attempt to covet and hone a “bad girl” image for herself.

It was cute for a little while, but at some point, the games need to stop.

Rihanna posting a photo of a woman in a trench coat with an assault weapon is probably the point at which she needs to be taken aside for a time out.

Commenters were quick to point out the insensitivity of posting such a photo in light of the mass murder of 20 children in Newtown, Conn.

Rihanna’s love of guns isn’t entirely new. She sports a tattoo of a small gun on her ribcage, and she recently spent time at the shooting range, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

As someone who expressed outrage and pain at the news of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, it’s bizarre that she could then turn around and post such an insensitive image to her fans and the world at large.

It’s officially official. Chris Brown and Rihanna are back together!

We’ve seen all the twitpics and the “spy” photos of them partying together in the club … and after all the rumors, denials and hints (that really weren’t “hints” at all), Chrianna is officially back on.

The on-again, off-again, and now back on-again couple were spotted laughing and cuddling up courtside last night at the New York Knicks vs. Los Angeles Lakers Christmas game at the Staples Center in L.A. — marking their first public appearance in years as a real couple.

The apparently happy couple (sidebar: please don’t take their joy away from them right now) even took a few photos with rapper Game‘s son Harlem.

Game tweeted: “Uh oh @harlemcarontaylor thought he had @badgalriri on lock….. @fuckyopictures want his girl back ha ha ha….. Guess he’ll just have to settle for @ritaora now lol.”

First, Rihanna posted a hand-written note to her followers on Instagram:

Okay. Key phrases in that letter: take the lessons, don’t let one thing shake your core. Chris Brown’s return to her life has definitely shaken Rihanna’s core. It’s infuriated her fan base and brought on the ire of anti-domestic violence advocates.

But the letter was nothing. A cryptic tweet made Rihanna’s feelings even clearer:

Looks like Chris Brown has taken the shenanigans that is his “love triangle” between his ‘new love’ Karrueche Tran and his ‘old love’ Rihanna overseas to Europe.

For the past month, Chris has been touring all around Europe for his “Carpie Diem” Tour, and in between performing, the singer has apparently been working double duty, spending time with both Karrueche and Rihanna, if recent reports are to be believed.

And let’s just say … Rihanna isn’t too happy that Chris continues to fool around with both her and his so-called “ex girlfriend” at the same damn time.

On Saturday night (Dec 8), Rihanna posted a cryptic tweet of herself laying in what appears to be Chris Brown’s tattooed arms … conveniently right after Karrueche posted pics of herself in Paris, where Chris was scheduled to perform that night.

Karrueche and Ugo Mozie — her business partner for her fashion label “The Kill” — are supposedly Chris’ stylists, so Chris could have just flown Karrueche out there to do “stylist” stuff, but Rihanna is a bit smarter than that. She knows what’s going on here.

So Rihanna, after performing in Germany for the TV show “Wetten, Daas..?”, posted the following harsh messages before quickly deleting them:

“Examine what you tolerate” … “Goodbye muthafuckas” … “You give, you get, then you give it the fuck back” … “Claps for the basic bitches.”

Hmm … wonder who that was for?

But after deleting the tweets, Rihanna apparently had a quick change of heart and posted the photo of herself in Chris’ arms with this caption:

“Damn……. I miss my nigga #thuglife #BFFlife”

And the messy love triangle doesn’t end there. After Rihanna performed on the finale episode of “X Factor UK” in London on Sunday night (Dec 9), the singer caught a flight to Paris, most likely to be with Chris, who was spotted exiting his hotel early on in the day wearing a hat from Karrueche’s clothing line.

Continuing her trend of weird/cryptic tweets, Rihanna tweeted a picture from her hotel room (see below) with the caption: “Risky business #paris”

Obviously, Rihanna can’t stay mad at Chris for long, and she is accepting the situation for what it is … for now, at least.

Sources tell UK tabloid The Sun, “She can’t get it into her head that Chris will never change. She’s given him so many chances … and letting Karrueche meet him is yet another blow for Rihanna that will further disgust her fans. They are already raging that she is back with him.”

Young love can be so complicated.

Less than one week after deleting his Twitter page following his interesting feud with comedy writer Jenny Johnson, Chris Brown has returned to the popular social networking site with just one tweet:

“What would music today sound like if these kids didn’t exist?”

An even better question would be “What would celebrity gossip today be like if Chris Brown and Rihanna never existed?”

Kevin Hart is in love with Rihanna and he ain’t afraid to show it. The successful comedian let his Navy flag fly high when he posted a video of himself getting down to Rihanna’s “Pour It Up,” a track from her #1 album “Unapologetic.”

To be honest, Kevin’s dance moves were a bit … off. He did a lot of stomping, like he was trying to kill some pesky roaches in a dimly lit apartment in the Bronx. And all of that giddy-up cowboy lassoing was more “Gangnam Style” than twerk.

Reports say that she hugged and kissed him, so no, this is NOT a platonic hug between friends.

Chris and Rihanna have been posting pictures on their Instagrams to let the Navy, Team Breezy and whoever else cares that they are spending some intimate time together.

On November 21st, Rihanna wrapped up her 777 Tour which promoted her latest musical effort “Unapologetic.”

After saying what a blast it was and thanking everyone, Rihanna posted a picture of herself in her private jet with the following caption:

“All alone in my big ole jet!!! See u soon lover”

Of course, we all had a feeling who this “lover” person she referred to could’ve been, but Rihanna hardly ever leaves anything up to the imagination.

She showed us who it was just 2 days later…

“Dis nigga” on her bed is apparently obsessed with Bart Simpson, according to the hashtag attached to the photo.
