Rapper Rick Ross is denying that he is the father of a 3 year-old boy in Georgia.

A woman by the name of Tyrisha Childers has filed a paternity suit against Ross claiming he got her pregnant a few years ago and still hasn’t paid a dime of child support.

In the documents, Childers also claims she has no income besides $694 in disability payments.

Ross, on the other hand, is claiming he never slept with or impregnated Childers and wants to take a DNA test to prove it.

It’s funny how all this sounds like that mess Justin Bieber had to go through with that crazy chick. (SMH!)

Rick Ross links up with his homie Drake and Bad Boy recording artist French Montana in the new video for “Stay Schemin,” a notable track from Ross’ newly released “Rich Forever” mixtape, which officially dropped yesterday.

Rick Ross has teamed up with an all-star ensemble of collaborators, like Drake, Nas, Kelly Rowland, Diddy, Pharrell, Wale, John Legend and more for his newly released “Rich Forever” mixtape.

Hosted by DJ Scream and Shaeem Reid, the 19-track compilation features all new material from Ross, and was released to tide fans over until the Maybach Music Group CEO drops his fifth studio album “God Forgives, I Don’t” some time in the early part of this year.

With Young Jeezy’s new album TM: 103 Hustlerz Ambition just weeks away from being released, the “Shake Life” rapper has opened up more about his rumored beef with Rick Ross.

In an interview with Sway on MTV”s “RapFix Live”, the Snowman revealed most of the drama began when he put out a freestyle over Ross’ “B.M.F.” track.

“In my mind, in my heart, I just killed the verse. If I killed the verse and you took it personally, then that’s on you.”

Things then went from what Jeezy says should have been strictly focused on music to the streets.

“I hear things; the streets talk. I’m hearing he reaching out to [Big] Meech and trying to get him to speak bad — that’s my brother. When you’re trying to bring the streets into rap to prove a point, then you already lost. You separate the two, and that ain’t to be played with. You’ve got people that lost their lives and people that are doing real time. If we gon’ make music, let’s just make music.”

Jeezy feels like the beef all stems from a video posted on WorldstarHipHop taken the wrong way.

“I feel like the whole started thing from a clip on WorldStarHipHop, and my thing was, if I’m a boss and you a boss, let’s sit down and be bosses. You take a clip that somebody edited and run with that? What part of the game is that? If you felt like that, hit me up, let’s chop it up, we bosses.”

To him the whole ordeal is more over selling records instead of personal issues….especially after he attempted to wrap things up with Ross at the BET Awards, but he declined.

“I felt like it was about selling records. It’ not about you about me. We could’ve stepped in the corner and chopped it up. So right then and there, I knew it was about records, so I was cool with it.”

Hopefully sometime in the near future…these two can squash all of this and let bygones be bygones.

With a queen chess piece in his hand, rapper Wale, who is celebrating the release of his sophomore album “Ambition” this week, covers the latest issue of Rolling Out Magazine.

Inside the issue, the Maybach Music Group rapper talks about a number of topics, including why he signed with Rick Ross‘ new label and how that deal came about, what he wants his legacy in Hip-Hop to be, wanting to be an advocate for women and more.

Before the release of your first album, you built an impressive buzz for yourself. So what caused the album to fail to meet the high expectations?
I put that on myself to get back to where I need to be. We’re working. I do music for my fans and family. My fans appreciated my first album. But my label didn’t ship it for whatever reason. I re-evaluated my life and my situation and now I’m in a different place. I found out a lot of artists can’t go to a city and do a show with 2,000 people. I’m blessed to have people who appreciate what I do.

When did Rick Ross reach out to you?
The Maybach Music Group deal came about when I was a free agent. I look at Rick Ross as more than an artist. I didn’t sign to be a side kick, I want to be an artist and do what I’m capable of doing musically. Ross let’s me do that. He’s the boss at the label, but he’s not bossing me around.

So what is the biggest difference in being at MMG vs. being at Interscope?
The difference is freedom. I’m very in tune with urban culture. I felt my last situation wasn’t allowing me to grow with the urban culture. They saw a Lady Gaga opportunity and I went with it. I was a new artist and I didn’t get it. I thought I was being ignored by black America. It’s not as much money, but to connect with the people I grew up with is more important than connecting with pop fans. Even the white people who are familiar with my music deserve to hear what I’m really saying. I shouldn’t be marketed toward top 40. When I listen to my first album, you can hear who I am talking to. But I now have an opportunity to change that.

You have a lot of female fans. How important is it for you to balance the risque songs such as “No Hands” with inspirational tracks such as “Diary”?
I want to be an advocate for the women. I may say some wild things, but that’s our time to have fun. But I stand for fixing the world our way. Let’s add spice to this and change the world. I believe women should go to school to network with others who will change the world. I’m encouraging. I’m a part of the problem, but I want to be a part of the clean up. “No Hands” is the party and “Ambitious Girls” is the clean up. We can have fun, but I hope you’re getting up and going to class. I don’t want to get in the way of that. That [is] something you have to do. For two years, I had to walk around with about $15 in my account. That was my time. I left school and had to get on my grind. I was about 21. Now show me you can work the system for four or five years and continue to do your thing.

You caught flack from black women for not having dark-skinned females in your “Pretty Girls” video. How did that make you feel?
It wasn’t about that, but it showed me what I meant to the black culture. That made me realize that people hold me at a higher regard. That was when I knew I had to make a change. For “Pretty Girls,” I didn’t go on set until there were dark-skinned girls at the video shoot. I was waiting. The most horrible feeling in the world, was that my women think that I don’t care about them. I’d rather go broke than for my black women to think that I don’t care about them. I would rather lose everything than to have my queens think I’m turning my back on them. I was the only kid in my neighborhood with a father. And that’s because I’m African and they don’t divorce. It messed me up. When I was in Mississippi, a girl told me she had her first child at 16. So I made a song called “Illest B—- Alive.” There’s a special place in my heart for black girls. If you’re black and have a black mother, you know how special they are.

Beyond the physical, what is the most attractive thing about a woman?
I like girls who can get the intellect popping. Instead of liking me just because I rap, I like girls who can ask about where I was mentally when I thought of making a certain record. I can find a nice amount of girls who think I’m attractive or whatever, but intellect is very important. “Lotus Flower Bomb” was a record that I wanted to create a long time ago. I’m not sure if radio was ready for that at the time. That’s kind of an adult vibe. I was 23 when I was writing my first project. I was doing what I was told to do instead of doing what my heart told me to do.

What do you think people say about you as it relates to hip-hop?
I want my legacy to be that I was humble. I want people to know my heart more and more into every album. Know that I really stand for this culture and the people. Most of us know each other. Whenever people say there are only a few real dudes in this joint, I know that I’m one of them.

Rick Ross stopped by BET’s “106 & Park” yesterday and made his first major TV appearance since his health scare earlier this month when he suffered two seizures back-to-back.

The Maybach Music CEO explained to hosts Rocsi and Terrence J that his long work hours and the fact that he hasn’t had a good night’s sleep in over 5 years put his health at risk.

He said, “Being the fastest growing label in the game, wanting to be the number one label in the game, it comes with a lot of sacrifices and in my case it was sleep. I would get two hours of sleep and keep moving. Me being a hustler.”

Ross says his doctors tested him for cancer, diabetes, HIV and more, and the tests came back showing that the rapper is “totally healthy.”

“It was a case of me not getting enough rest, enough sleep,” he said, adding that these days he’s making sure to leave room for naps.

The rapper also revealed that he recently worked on a collaboration with Jay-Z.

“Me and Jay-Z finished the biggest collaboration that we’ve ever done together, for my album,” he said.

Rick Ross was also joined by rapper and MMG artist Wale, and R&B singer Jeremih for the interview at BET Studios in New York City.

Rick Ross and his team are still playing it safe … for now.

After his recent health scare, the Maybach Music head honcho has already canceled a couple of concerts. Now it’s being reported that he has rescheduled his concert in L.A. this weekend for 2012.

According to TMZ, the promoters behind the show believe Ross needs more time to get better, so they contacted his people, and the two parties have agreed to reschedule the concert to January:

“Pushing [Ross] to do a show that he was not prepared to do was not beneficial to anyone,” the promoters said.

We’re glad Ross’ health is being taken into careful consideration. Hip-Hop wouldn’t be the same without him!

Rick Ross is apparently doing much better after having two seizures back-to-back this past Friday (Oct 14).

The “I Love My Bitches” rapper was spotted the very next day (Sat. Oct 15), along with his buddy DJ Khaled, at his new Wingstop restaurant opened in Memphis, Tennessee.

Khaled tweeted: “My brother ROZAY!!IS GOOD!!!”

Glad to know all is well with the Bawse!

Rick Ross has had one frightening weekend.

The rapper was hospitalized twice for seizures (in two separate incidents) early yesterday as he tried to fly to Memphis for a show last night, and despite him trying his best to make it, he never ended up performing.

According to reports, the 35-year-old emcee suffered his first seizure and lost consciousness while on a Delta flight from Ft. Lauderdale shortly after take-off, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing.

He was treated at the airport, and then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

But despite his health scare, the rapper was still determined to show up at the concert he was scheduled to perform at that night, so he hopped on a private jet and continued his journey to Memphis.

He was also supposed to open a Wingstop chicken wing franchise in Memphis on Saturday afternoon.

While on the second flight to Memphis, the Maybach Music Group CEO took to Twitter (via video message — above) and let his fans know that he was okay and to expect to see him in concert that night.

But just a few hours after posting the video, Ross suffered yet ANOTHER seizure while on the airplane, which forced the pilot to make an emergency landing in Birmingham, where he was rushed to the emergency room for treatment.

Last night’s concert was canceled, and TMZ reported Saturday that Ross intended to make another concert at North Carolina A&T’s homecoming that night.

Later, however, it was reoorted that Ross’ Saturday night performance in North Carolina was canceled, but the cconcert continued on with performances from DJ Khaled and Marsha Ambrosius.

According to Billboard.com, Ross’ next scheduled performance  is this coming Friday (Oct 21) at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. Two days after that, he’s scheduled to share the stage with Busta Rhymes at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

After having two seizures in one day, there’s no telling what kind of condition Rick Ross is in at the moment, so we can only hope that he takes some serious time to rest and get his health in order before he starts back performing.

Rick Ross’ fifth studio album “God Forgives, I Don’t” is expected to hit stores on December 13th. The album’s lead singles “I Love My Bitches” and “You The Boss” featuring Nicki Minaj, both produced by Just Blaze, dropped last week.

11:54 AM PST: Rick Ross — who’s still in the hospital — is telling people he still plans to perform tonight in Memphis at FedExForum.

2:05 PM EST: It appears Rick Ross is now tweeting, claiming he is okay.

1:57 PM EST: Police confirm Ross has been transported to a nearby hospital.

A family member tells TMZ, Rick is currently under close supervision and is doing fine. We’re told drugs and alcohol were not involved.

1:50 PM EST: Rapper Wale – one of Rick’s closest friends — just tweeted, “I just talked to Ross…he’s 100 pct ok..” Another member of Rick’s entourage DJ Sam Sneaker also says the rapper is okay.

1:36 PM EST: A witness tells TMZ, Rick fell unconscious right after take-off.

We’re told his entourage jumped out of their seats to alert plane personnel — at which point a doctor on board administered CPR on the rapper.

The plane made an emergency landing right away — and we’re told, as Rick was being wheeled off the aircraft, he appeared to show signs of life.

TMZ is reporting that that Maybach Music Group head honcho was on a flight going from Ft. Lauderdale to Memphis today when he had a seizure and lost consciousness, forcing the plane to make an emergency landing.

Emergency workers tell us the call came in at 12:55 PM ET … the caller reported a seizure.

Ross is currently on a gurney at the airport, and an eyewitness tells us EMT workers are administering CPR. Members of Rick’s entourage are standing by, some of them extremely emotionally upset.

This sounds REALLY serious … We hope Ricky Rozey is okay!!!

Maybach Music Group‘s biggest artists — Rick Ross, Wale and Meek Mill — graced the stage of the 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards, which were held earlier this month (Sat. Oct 1st) in Atlanta at the Civic Center, and aired last night (Tue. Oct 11th) on BET.

90′s R&B crooner El DeBarge, who has recently been making a comeback and popping up at almost every BET awards show, opened up the performance by singing the intro the “That Way,” which lead into Wale’s appearance, followed by fellow MMG newcomer Meek Mill, who performed his single “I’ma Boss”

With flames in the background and to much fanfare, MMG’s head honcho Rick Ross joined his artists on stage, asserting his status as a “Bawse” as he rapped along to his verse on Meek Mill’s song.

The 2011 BET Hip-Hop Awards just went down over the weekend (Sat. Oct 1) in Atlanta, and the black carpet posted up outside the Civic Center was littered with rappers and other celebrities.

During a recent interview with VH1, the 53-year-old actor gave his opinion on rapper Rick Ross, the current state of Hip-Hop, and how rappers — like Rick Ross for instance — are not being 100% real in their rhymes.

On Rick Ross:
“That’s fake. Rick Ross stole a n—-’s name. I call him ‘Identity Crisis.’ He thinks he’s [Freeway] Rick Ross, he thinks he’s Larry Hoover, he thinks he’s Big Meech, he thinks he’s MC Hammer, he thinks he’s Tupac. Like, who the f*ck are you really, dude?”

On Rap Turning Pop:
“Rap is pop right now. Q-Tip said, ‘Rap is not pop. If you call it that, then stop.’ Rap was a counterculture that went against pop. But when you have Rihanna singin’ on your records and you’re doin’ records with Katy Perry, that’s no longer rap. It’s pop music, pop using rap delivery. The “Gucci Gucci” Rapper revealed in a recent interview that she worked things out by buying DJ Khaled a couple of steaks.

I bought DJ Khaled a couple steaks and we worked everything out. As far as that, nothing’s popping off. It’s just a little rough patch at the VMAs, but we got all over it. It’s all over now.”

Rick Ross is taking his “boss” talent to the chicken business.

The Maybach Music C.E.O. has partnered up with Wingstop to open up his own restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee.

Platinum selling rapper Rick Ross is expanding his business empire into the restaurant business, via a new partnership with national restaurant chain, Wingstop.

Rick Ross has signed a development agreement with the Richardson, Texas-based company, which has over 480 Wingstop restaurants across the United States and Mexico.

Rick Ross will open the first of several Wingstop restaurants in Memphis, this Fall.

Ross, who name checked Wingstop brand on the song “MC Hammer” from his album Teflon Don, felt an affinity with the brand, which made it easier to make the decision to invest.

“After tasting Wingstop’s signature lemon pepper–flavored wings in Miami, I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments,” Rick Ross told AllHipHop.com in a statement today (August 4th).

The Wingstop menu focuses solely on cooked-to-order chicken, along with the chain’s newest offering, glider sandwiches.

“Rick Ross will be a great addition to the wing stop family,” said Jim Flynn, Wingstop’s CEO. “He’s a talented artist and brings a huge fan base to the concept. We look forward to growing the brand with him in Memphis.”

Rick Ross’ Wingstop location in Memphis is slated to open this Fall, at 7706 Winchester Road.

Drake and Lil Wayne shared the stage (and a hug) this past Sunday night at the 2nd annual OVO Festival in Drake’s hometown of Toronto, Canada.

Keri Hilson was a pink bandit Wednesday night (Jul 13) at the Comcast Theater in Hartford, CT where the R&B singer performed on the opening night of the second leg of Hip-Hop superstar Lil Wayne‘s “I Am Still Music” Tour.

Following opening sets from Lloyd and Far East Movement, Hilson, rocking a pink jumpsuit and holding a sack of money with a gun-shaped mic in her hand, hit the stage, performing material from her sophomore album “No Boys Allowed.”

After Keri Hilson took the stage, rapper Rick Ross performed his set, followed by a performance by headliner Lil Wayne.

“Ladies and gentleman, you are being entertained by much more than just a rapper. I am one of the best things to ever happen to music,” Weezy boldly declared before disappearing into the shadows, according to Rap-up.com.

In his first public appearance since being sprung from prison, Gucci Mane was spotted greeting fans and signing a few autographs as he exited Prime One Twelve Steakhouse in Miami Tuesday night (Jul 12).

Other celebs spotted leaving the South Beach eatery were actress Vivica A. Fox and rapper Rick Ross, who generously tipped the valet with two $100 bills as he left the restaurant.

Miami rapper Rick Ross is in trouble with an Atlanta woman after her Yorkshire Terrier was supposedly attacked by his three pitbulls.

According to TMZ, the Atlanta woman is taking Rozay to court for $15,000 on claims that the Teflon Don’s three Pitbulls escaped his Atlanta mansion and attacked her 3-year-old pet. Court docs say the tiny dog suffered multiple bite wounds to his back and a bite to the neck.

The dog had to be put to sleep because of its injuries.

Ross has since been cited by the police over the incident as the plaintiff is extremely upset that the rapper has not yet apologized.

Come on Ricky … you know you can do better than that!

Alicia Keys is currently celebrating her 10th anniversary in music and she performed a catalogue of her hits Sunday night at the 2011 BET Awards in her first big, televised appearance since giving birth to her son late last year. The R&B singer kicked off her set with her brand new song “Typewriter,” which led her straight into “A Woman’s Worth.”

Moments later Bruno Mars showed up opposite Keys and the duo began singing together before they transitioned into “Maybach Music” (featuring Rick Ross). Keys then closed her performance out with a rendition of her debut single “Fallin.”

Lil Wayne performed his new single “How to Love” at Hot 97′s Summer Jam yesterday evening in East Rutherford, NJ.
