Yesterday the Clipse released the remix video for their “I’m Good” song. Miami rapper Rick Ross jumped on this version and is also featured in the music video, which can be found after the break.

R&B singer Monica, pictured above with BET personalities Terrence J and Rocsi Diaz, hit up BET’s 106 & Park Tuesday (Oct 27) to get word out about her new reality show, “Still Standing,” which premiered that same night, following the Hip Hop Awards.
“It was very scary stepping into the type of situation that would expose me and my life,” said Monica. “But I think that there are so many kids now that are aspiring to do exactly what I’ve done and I felt like that was worth me putting myself on the line so they would really understand what it’s like to try and juggle both a music career and personal life.”
Monica’s show, “Still Standing,” comes on BET every Tuesday night at 10/9c.
Rick Ross and his new rap group Triple C’s were also in the building.

The biggest names in hip-hop entertainment hit up the 2009 BET Hip-Hop awards, held in Atlanta, GA this past weekend. Folks like Soulja Boy, Gucci Mane, Monica, Tiny & Toya, Pretty Ricky, Shawty Lo, Plies, Rick Ross and more all walked the red carpet before making their way into the building to enjoy the show, which will air on BET Tuesday, October 27th at 8/7c.

(01.) Jay-Z was given the honor of being the top emcee in the rap game for the year 2009, according to MTV. They give most of the credit due to his recent success with his latest album, The Blueprint 3.
Blueprint 3 is another Hov tour de force — and it destroys the myth that there’s an age limit on being a dope MC. At 39 years old, Jay is arguably still better than anybody on the mic today, rhyming with precision and grace. He throws buzzsaws right from the gate on the intro “What We Talking About,” where he raps about what he deems to be nonsense, like dwelling on rap beef.

Code 10, officer down! We repeat … code 10, officer down! Rapper Rick Ross took a nasty fall on stage at a recent show. While performing his verse for “Out Here Grindin’” the Miami native stepped too close near the edge of the stage, which caused him to slip and fall. You would think that him falling would be the highlight of the video, but seeing his handlers rush on stage to try to pick his big azz up was the funniest part of the clip!
Boy, we would pay good money to get a chance to see 50 Cent’s reaction to this the first time he saw the video. Check it out (at the 0:22 mark) for yourselves below.
BET Studios in New York City was filled with celebrities as folks like Tyrese, Derek Luke, Ryan Leslie, Rick Ross, Ghostface Killah and Marques Houston dropped by to record appearances on 106 & Park Monday (Sep 28). Above singer Marques Houston can be seen posing with one of the show’s host, Terrence J. Continue reading for the rest of the pictures.
Ashanti sure is looking good these days! It’s hard to believe Nelly let all of that go. She and Ja Rule reunited on stage at the 2009 VH1 Hip Hop Honors Wednesday night (Sep 23), which saw performances from Wale, Kid Rock, Method Man & Redman, Eminem and more. The ceremony honored the pioneers of Def Jam along with the people, past and present, who helped create the label and build it into what it is today. Hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan, the show is set to make its television debut only on VH1 on Tuesday, October 13th at 9 pm.
It’s only right that the first Def Jam artist to be honored was the label’s foundation and face for so many years, LL Cool J. The Roots started it off with “Rock the Bells.” Black Thought ripped the first verse of the record, then gave way for a special guest: Eminem. Last year, Slim Shady publicly expressed his love for LL during a phone prank on DJ Tony Touch’s Shade 45 radio show. Spitting the second verse of “Rock the Bells” on Wednesday night, Em sounded almost exactly like the legend who inspired him. “Now I’m worldwide known/ Whether you like it or not/ My one-man band is Cut Creator…/ When he’s on the fader/ What’s my DJ’s name?” “Cut Creator!” The crowd yelled. Later, Kid Rock paid tribute to LL with “I’m Bad.” The Kid also DJed during the show, as did Ed Lover.
We posted pictures of them on the set a couple of weeks ago, and here is the official music video for Rick Ross and Trina’s new music video for their song, “Face,” which is featured on Ross’ latest album, Deeper Than Rap, in stores now. Check out the new video below!

The video was filmed at Miami Gardens in Miami, FL.
