Rihanna ain’t the only one on the rebound. Chris Brown was spotted out with what folks are calling his new girlfriend, R&B singer Rhea, on New Year’s Day in Miami. These shots were taken shortly after Chris’ party at the 400 Club in South Beach.

Rhea used to be a part of Pharrell‘s group N.E.R.D. but sources say she was kicked out very recently because they didn’t think her sound matched with N.E.R.D.’s style. They say her sleeping around was a problem too. And though she claims to be in her twenties, she’s actually 32 years old.

We don’t know if Chris is smashing this chick or not but we’ll hear from somebody soon enough. More pics of Chris and his “new boo” below…

Rapper Jay-Z, pictured above signing autographs for fans outside MuchMusic Headquarters in Toronto, Canada, hit up MuchOnDemand this past Saturday (Oct 31) to discuss his new album, The Bluepring 3, among other things including his current Blueprint 3 album promo tour, which went down at the Air Canada Centre later that night.

Musician/producer Pharrell Williams and his new artist Rhea, who was recently welcomed as the newest member of Pharrell’s group N.E.R.D., opened up for Jay-Z Saturday night (Oct 31) at the Air Canada Centre in Canada.

N.E.R.D. is currently working on their fourth studio album titled Instant Gratification, set for an early 2010 release. Pharrell says with Rhea a part of the team, they have a new sound that’s very “3-D.”

“Musically, we’re just somewhere else [with her],” he told MTV News. “The music is now very 3-D. It’s something you have to hear.” “We’re definitely somewhere else,” he continued. “I want to leave that impact moment for when you purchase your download and you purchase your CD. The music is very three-dimensional. We’re just really excited. We feel like NERD has always been the punks of hip-hop and the outcasts of alternative music – just a little different. But this time, we’re taking no prisoners.”

Busta Rhymes and Soulja Boy attended the YRB Magazine “How You Rock It” party held at M2 Lounge in New York City Tuesday night.
