Jermaine Dupri’s artist, Q Da Kid, has a brand new video titled “Letter to Shakir” out now. The song is a tribute to the late Shakir Stewart, the former Vice President of Def Jam who suddenlly killed himself back in November 2008. Be on the look-out for a lot of big things from Q as his album comes out (hopefully) some time this year!
TAG Records frontman Q Da Kid graces his first magazine cover ever, which appens to be the Winter 08/09 issue of Rap-Up magazine. In the issue, he talks about how JD discovered him and what to expect from him once he “takes center stage,” as mentioned by the mag cover’s text.
