Musician/producer Pharrell Williams and his new artist Rhea, who was recently welcomed as the newest member of Pharrell’s group N.E.R.D., opened up for Jay-Z Saturday night (Oct 31) at the Air Canada Centre in Canada.

N.E.R.D. is currently working on their fourth studio album titled Instant Gratification, set for an early 2010 release. Pharrell says with Rhea a part of the team, they have a new sound that’s very “3-D.”

Popular financial gurus Forbes has released yet another list. Their previous list featured Beyonce perched at the top, earning a staggering $87 million in one 12-month period. And now her husband, rapper Jay-Z, is sitting at the top of the “Hip-Hop Cash Kings List,” earning an estimated $35 million over the past 12 months. A far cry from the $82 million he pulled in last year, but still pretty damn good, especially in a recession.

I just came across this dope Asian group called the Teriyaki Boyz. Apparently they have a single called “Work That” featuring Pharrell & Chris Brown. The beat and production is hot! It later came to light that Williams had been arrested on the morning of the show. Sound familiar, anyone? *Cough* T.I. *cough* got arrested *cough* last year *cough* and he was *cough* supposed to perform. I’m just saying…

Rumors are beginning to circulate that producer and N*E*R*D frontman Pharrell Williams has a baby on the way. According to the NY Post, the rapper/singer has knocked up a model-type chick he met with friends in Miami earlier this year.

The unidentified woman “is very pregnant and travels with him. She hangs out with the backstage crew when he performs,” said a friend. “Pharrell is extremely private and won’t release any details.”

Pharrell Williams, Santogold and Julian Casablancas has collaborated on a track titled “My Drive Thru” to contribute to the Converse Century Celebration. I love the animation and vibe this song/video gives you. It’s definitely a hot track. Check out the video above.

I was listening to my iPod once again and heard one of my favorite tracks, “Frontin’”, by Pharrell from The Neptunes compilation album, The Neptunes Present…Clones. I went to check out the video and peeped a girl that has actually been a lot of Pharrell’s videos, Lauren London! Check out how young LL looked was when this came out. Who knew she’d be so big! Terrell posted some photos of a recent party Pharrell Williams threw and fell in love with that black/yellow Spongebob t-shirt Skateboard P had on. And I gotta admit, I thought the shirt was pretty dope too! But in the back of my mind, I knew the shirt looked familiar. So I googled the tee and found out that it was made by A Bathing Ape, a Japanese clothing company started by Tomoaki “Nigo” Nagao, and in addition to rocking the line, Pharrell is a big investor for the company.

But anyway, if you’re interested in copping the tee for yourself, according to the Bape site, expect to spend 7,140 Japanese Yen, which translates to about $67 USD in addition to shipping and handling costs, unless of course you live in a city where the store operates (currently: NYC, L.A., London, Hong Kong, Taipei, and all throughout Japan). The shirt comes in two different styles – black shirt and yellow spongebob outline (Pharrell’s shirt) or yellow shirt and dark spongebob outline with orange freckles and green holes.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOMINIQUE!! A HUNDRED DOLLAR BILLS? LOOK AT-CHU, AT-CHU!!

Singer & producer Pharrell Williams and designer Camille Miceli will unveil a new fine jewelry collection named Blason. The collaboration between the two will be launched with fashion house Louis Vuitton. Williams first teamed up with the prestigious fashion line in 2004, when the he and A Bathing Ape (known worldwide for their BAPES sneakers) creator Nigo created the “Millionaire” line of sunglasses for the company. The Blason jewelry line, which features four separate themes, features yellow and white gold in diamonds.

The average price tag for the pieces will be anywhere from $2,000 to over $600,000. Williams and Miceli will debut the expensive line to the public on January 21st, followed by a private party at a Mansion in Paris. While details have yet-to-be announced, the Blason jewelry line will be available in Louis Vuitton stores across the world starting this spring. If you’re going to miss the $2,000 after it’s gone, then I suggest you not take part in the purchase of this highly expensive line of jewelry! I don’t want anyone to get put out on the streets because they decided to use the money for their mortgage and utility bills to buy some jewelry from Pharrell.
