NBA players Dwyane Wade and Dwight Howard hosted T-Mobile’s 100% Hoops Street All Star Jam Session Saturday (Feb 13) in Dallas, TX. Dwight Howard thinks his baby mama Royce Lyndsay Reed is out to get him and “become a celebrity” just because she’s the mother of his child. Word on the sidewalk is that she’s supposed to be trying to get on some new VH1 reality show called “NBA Wives,” and Dwight ain’t having it!

The Orlando Magic basketball star filed legal documents in Florida that say that Reed, the mother of Dwight’s 2-year-old son, is banned from “using or publishing (orally, in writing, or otherwise), directly, indirectly or by innuendo, [Dwight's] name, nicknames, image, brand photographs and/or likenes.”

According to documents filed in Florida, the Orlando Magic superstar went to war in October with Royce Lyndsay Reed — the mother of his 2-year-old son — after she allegedly called him a deadbeat dad on her blog, Twitter and even during an ESPN interview. That finely manicured line of lawyerspeak makes it damn near impossible for Royce to appear on “Wives” … unless she calls herself the baby mama of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.

The Detroit Pistons take the victory of the series (4-1) between the Orlando Magic. Detroit had an advantage a home by winning the last game in the series but it’s go hard or go home. The Pistons came harder leading them further into the playoffs. The final score of last night game was [91-86]. Richard Hamilton would not let his team lose at home..period. He scored 31 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists. Hamilton said proudly after the final game win:

“Now we expect to do this,” Hamilton said. “We’re supposed to be here.”

Rasheed Wallace scored 14 points and 7 rebounds for the Pistons. Antonio McDyess had 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists. Tayshaun Prince put up 10 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. The Pistons can rest up now because they’re going to need it for whoever they face in the Cleveland Cavaliers Vs. Boston Celtics series.

Cleveland Cavaliers play the Boston Celtics tonight (May 14th) @ 8PM on TNT. Series is tied (2-2).

It seems whenever a team is home it’s easier for them to win games but this wasn’t the case for last night’s game. The Detroit Pistons defeats the Orlando Magic with a 3-pointer by Tayshaun Prince in the last 8.9 seconds in the final quarter (90-89). Pistons still leading the series (3-1). Tayshaun Price totaled 17 points, 5 assists and 5 rebounds. Pistons’ coach Flip Saunders feared they would lose without their star point-guard, Chauncey Billups, but Hamilton stepped in and took charge. Richard Hamilton scored 32 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Game 5 airs Tuesday (May 13) @ 7 on TNT

Last night in Orlando, Rashard Lewis was on fire. Lewis scored 33 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Dwight Howard had 20 points and 12 rebounds. Orlando took the win by 25 points (111-86) but the Pistons still lead the series by 1 (2-1). Lewis stated at halftime:

“I made my first couple and really felt like I was going to have it going tonight,” said Lewis, who came to the Magic in a trade with Seattle. “I know my 3 ball hasn’t been falling this whole series.

“Detroit’s obviously been a team that’s been beating us the past couple of years,” Lewis said. “The main focus is we don’t want to dig ourselves too deep of a hole. We want to try to win our home games, take the series back to Detroit 2-2.”

Richard Hamilton scored a total of 24 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists for the Pistons. Tayshaun Prince had 22 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Unfortunately, Chauncey Billups was injured in the first 4 minutes of the game. Pistons coach Flip Saunders is worried about the loss at home and fears that the Pistons’ are in jeopardy of losing the series:

“I’m concerned because [Billups is] our quarterback; he runs our team,” Pistons coach Flip Saunders said. “You saw our first two games. He’s been a huge part of why we’ve been successful — that matchup has been huge for us.”

They still have more than enough chances to redeem their streak in Game 4.

Game 4 airs Saturday (May 10) @ 5 on ESPN.

The Detroit Pistons defeat Orlando Magic again going on the a two game winning streak as of now at least (2-0). The defeated Magic last night by 7 (93-100). The Pistons is declaring their spot fast in the playoffs. Chauncey Billups had a total of 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Billups talked about some of the difficulites of playing against these driven opponents:

“It’s tough to be on the other end of that play,” Billups said. “But I’ll take it.”

Tyshaun Prince had 17 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Jason Maxiell showed up as a top performer last night with 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard scraped up 22 points, 18 rebounds and 2 blocks. Hedo Turkolgu totaled 12 pints, 7 assists and 3 rebounds. Howard probably could’ve won the game if he hadn’t been trying to get in the hole all night. He responded:

“I tried to be more aggressive on the glass,” Howard said. “They can’t double you there.”

Maybe the Orlando Magic can regain some kind of recognition in these series or maybe it’s over already.

Orlando Magic take the victory of the series with a total of (4-1) wins to losses against the Toronto Raptors. The final score of game 5 was (102-92).  Dwight Howard leads Orlando to the Eastern Conference for the first time in 12 years. Howard scored a total of 21 points, 21 rebounds, and 2 assists. Opponent Chris Bosh never underestimated Howard and even congratulated him with his recent success in the series. Bosh states:

“He’s a phenom; he’s the best center in the league,” said Raptors star Chris Bosh, who was guarded by Howard all game. “He’s probably the strongest guy in the league, and he knows how to use his body. It doesn’t surprise me at all. I’ve seen him play this whole series, I’ve seen him play this season.”

Chris Bosh racked up 16 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists for his final game in the series. Orlando Magic will play whoever wins the Detroit Pistons Vs. Philadelphia 76ers series, which is tied 2-2 right now. 76ers play Tuesday (Apr. 29) night in Detroit.

The Toronto Raptors took a their victory last night in Game 3 against the Orlando Magic. With a close game win by 14 points (108 -94) the Raptors take their first win. T.J. Ford scored 21 points, Jose Calderon had 18 points and 13 assists. Chris Bosh and Jason Kapono each had 15 points. It was looking good for Orlando in this game anyway. Injuries occurred on Magic teammate, Jameer Nelson, who had back spasms during the game. The Raptors now gaining with a win under their belt. Game 4 will tie the knot.

Game 4 is Saturday afternoon in Toronto.
