Fans of VH1′s “Love and Hip-Hop“ will be glad to know that a new franchise of the show is said to be in the works.

According to our friends over at Straight from the A, industry insiders say that “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta” could be making its way to your TV screens one day soon:

Former Crime Mob member Diamond (Lil Scrappy’s long time ex, and Soulja Boy’s jump off) has reportedly been offered a role on the upcoming show.

Things are still in the beginning stages and Diamond has a few details to hash out before she’ll ink the deal. Apparently, the producers of the show want her to be 100 percent herself in front of the cameras, but her publicists would prefer to finesse things a little bit. “Diamond would definitely be the Chrissy [Lampkin] of the group.”

Others mentioned on the list include A-town rapper Rasheeda, Lil Wayne baby mama #3(?) Nivea, and I’ve also heard talks of Cee-lo Green‘s ex, Christina Johnson being approached as an addition to the Atlanta Love & Hip Hop cast.

With all of the other reality shows already out there, we think adding another one to the mix this soon would probably be overkill.

Now … if Usher’s ex wife Tameka were to somehow join the cast, then we might have a reason to tune in, just because we know she’s gonna probably end up being like Jackie Christie on BBW L.A. Couldn’t you see that?

What are your thoughts?

Nivea — the Skincare and beauty products company — came under fire this week after they used a tasteless ad campaign depicting a clean cut black male holding the decapitated head of a man with an afro to promote a hair care product for African American men.

The ad, which was spotted in the September 2011 issue of Esquire magazine, suggested that men “re-civilize” themselves by using their product, a suggestion that sparked outrage all over the Internet, mainly on blogs and Twitter.

Once word got around that Nivea seemed to be promoting racism, their parent company Beiersdorf USA quickly responded with the following statement:

“This ad was inappropriate and offensive. Diversity and equal opportunity are crucial values at Beiersdorf and we do not tolerate insensitivity. It was never our intention to offend anyone and for this we are deeply sorry. This ad will never be used again. Beiersdorf, as a company, represents diversity, tolerance and equal opportunity. Direct and indirect discrimination must be ruled out in all decisions and in all areas of the company.”

Nivea as a company also personally issued their own statement via their Facebook page:

“Thank you for caring enough to give us your feedback about the recent “Re-civilized” NIVEA FOR MEN ad. This ad was inappropriate and offensive. It was never our intention to offend anyone, and for this we are deeply sorry. This ad will never be used again. Diversity and equal opportunity are crucial values of our company. We appreciate all of your comments and feedback. We have ceased placing the ad in media everywhere.”

Do these companies have no kind of filter when it comes to their advertisements or something? How did this get approved in the first place?

R&B singer Nivea, who just so happens to be Lil Wayne’s fourth baby mama, was busted in Atlanta for DUI over the weekend after she crashed her ’06 Mercedes into a tree, and now we have the mugshot, thanks to TMZ!

After Nivea left a wedding reception for Toya Carter at around 1 am (Lil Wayne’s ex wife and first baby mama) Sunday morning, she (with a child in the car) slammed into a tree that had fallen during a recent storm in the area. Once cops arrived at the scene, Nivea had “bloodshot, glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol.”

Nivea told the cops that she was NOT drunk (she only had a few drinks earlier in the evening) and she didn’t see the bright yellow crime tape and the traffic cones put in place to direct cars away from the fallen tree. Nivea was arrested on suspicion of DUI and reckless driving, and the child in the car wasn’t injured and was released to Nivea’s boyfriend.

As far as Nivea is concerned though, sources close to her family are sticking to her original story: she was NOT drunk (or speeding) at the time of the crash.

She was just a little tipsy :)

One of Lil Wayne’s baby mamas might have had way too much to drink at another one of Lil Wayne’s baby mama’s wedding over the weekend.

After leaving Toya‘s wedding this past Saturday night, R&B singer Nivea crashed her cream BMX V6 into a tree around 1 am Sunday morning. It was reported that she had a baby in the car….but luckily no one was hurt.

Immediately after the accident, Nivea was arrested for DUI and taken to the Fulton County Correctional Facility.

Thank goodness everyone was okay! This could have turned out very tragic…….

Young Money front-man Lil Wayne is featured on the cover of Ozone Magazine‘s sixth annual “Sex Issue” even though he’s currently serving a year-long bid behind bars up in Rikers. The interview was conducted just before he began his prison sentence and in it, Wayne touches on a range of subjects, including his thoughts on child support, his newest baby mamas Lauren London and Nivea, his rumored relationship with Young Money artist Shanell, and more. Also notice how we said “touched on” because some of his answers are very vague, but still interesting none-the-less! Check out a few excerpts from the interview below:

On whether he considers himself a good father and child support:
I’m not on child support with none of my kids cause I’m a great father. So it’s not determined by how much money you’re paying at all. That’s not what it’s about. It’s about being there and being that important person in their lives. It’s about being #1 or #2 in their life. That’s very important for your child, to make sure you’re that #1 or #2. Because if you’re not, you know what #1 or #2 could end up being. That’s the most important thing of all. I just try to make sure I’m of the highest importance in their lives, next to their moms.

I know you’re generally not too concerned about the critics, but you did get a lot of flak for the four baby mamas.
I don’t think what people think should be any concern of anybody’s. It’s definitely not a concern of mine. I’d be crazy if it was and you’re crazy if you are.

I think people translate “he has four baby mamas” as “he disrespects women.”
But that goes back to me not caring about what people think or say. They wanna be [baby mama] number five, six, and seven, so…

Did you go through a phase where you were, um… wanting to spread your seed? Or was it just the way things happened?
You’d have to be a woman that’s with me to know what phase I was going through. If I was to answer that question for you or for the world or for this magazine, then I’d be the dumbest ni*** on the planet.

How are you able to have several baby mothers and they all appear to get along pretty well?
That’s another answer that’s none of your concern. Shouldn’t be.

Fair enough. Too personal with the questions?
You did your job and I did mine.

There was some controversy over the release of The Carter documentary. Did you feel like they emphasized the drug addiction aspect too much? Is that the reason you didn’t want it released?
The fact that we didn’t want it released was business; paperwork. I feel like, if I agreed to have that camera around me, then I can’t tell that person what to edit when they go to the editing room, unless I am in the editing room and editing with them. If I’m not then I shouldn’t complain, but I was supposed to have a say-so because I had to approve it. And that was the whole [problem]. I didn’t approve it and they still put it out.

So you weren’t happy with the creative aspect or the business or both?
It was some of both. There were females on there with me and sh*t, you know? Why give them some shine when I’ve got baby mothers? I believe as an editor or whatever, as a person associated with me, if you want to become a real business partner with me I believe you should consider things like that. I shouldn’t have to be the one to consider it.

On respecting woman but still calling them hoes and bitches in his songs:
There’s two answers to that. One is – there are bitches. There are hoes. There are ladies. There are women. There are girls. Pick which side you’re on. When somebody’s saying something about “bitches,” if they didn’t say “Julia is a bitch,” if it doesn’t apply to you then it doesn’t apply to you. The second answer is, you’d have to be a woman who’s met me to know if I believe you’re a bitch or a hoe or whatever.

You worked with Shanell a lot on the Rebirth album. Was it more of a musical connection at first and then became more personal, or vice versa?
Since when did it become a personal thing?

I don’t know. I thought y’all were an item?
That’s a rumor, sweetheart. No, it’s never been a personal thing. As far as us being friends, yeah. That’s my friend. Shanell is a great artist and that’s it, period. She’s a Young Money great artist. I heard a rumor that she was pregnant from me. How could that be? We’ve never had sex. How could she be pregnant from me? You’ve got to have sex to be pregnant. That’s one of the things you have to do. I don’t understand how people’s brains work. You know? I’m a really big person. I’m a real superstar. I’m not afraid to tell you or nobody else, you know? I die every week [according to the rumors]. I’m in jail right now [according to the rumors].

So the intrusion into your personal life bothers you?
No, it bothers you, because you have to actually think if it’s true or not and come sit down and ask this dumb ass shit. I know you have to feel stupid, because it’s like me sitting here and looking at your [brown] hair and asking you, “Since you dyed your hair green, how do you feel?” Your hair obviously isn’t green.

Your tweets are mostly about love. Is that your mentality at the moment?
I asked Twist when I got on Twitter, “What am I supposed to do?” He said, “You’re supposed to say what you’re thinkin’.” That’s what I be thinkin’.

Is love what you think about all the time? Or just right now?
Right now. I think about the moment, but my thoughts usually last for days and lifetimes.

Our homie Kodak Boi was on the scene Sunday (Oct 4) at Nivea‘s baby shower at Villa Christina. Here’s his account of the festivities:

The shower took place at Villa Christina on Sunday, Oct. 4th in Atlanta Ga. Nivea was showered with wonderful gifts from friends, family, as well as her Avalon Music Group family. During the shower, Niv’s guests added some creativity to the baby shower by playing unique games. Guest had to unscramble & write down as many baby products as they could name (bottle, blanket, pacifier, etc) within 5 minutes.

‘Musical bottle’ was the most entertaining, where each participant took a bottle filled with juice, while Nieva’s records were playing in the back, & who ever ended up with bottle once the music stopped had to drink the most in the allotted time. The last game played, lullaby Freestyle, was geared towards the fellas–where each participant had to sing a rock, pop, hip hop or country styled lullaby & revamp it to make it their own.

Nivea’s uterus is currently being occupied by Lil Wayne‘s new son (his third in the past 12 months). Lauren London just gave birth to [she hasn't released the name yet] his second son on 09/09/09, and his first son was born shortly after the BET Hip-Hop Awards back in October 2008. And he’s rumored to be expecting ANOTHER kid from an unknown chick. We can’t keep up with this dude… We’re no financial experts, but condoms are way cheaper than children.

Nivea and her pregnant belly were front and center Sunday night (Aug 30) as she held an A&R showcase and launch party for her new management/artist development company Avalon Music Group at ICE Ultra lounge in Atlanta. Producer Jazze Pha was also there to support his homegirl.

According to FreddyO, that rock on Nivea’s finger is an engagement ring that came from her babydaddy Lil Wayne. She’s also going to start laying down tracks for a new album pretty soon.

So it looks like Lil Wayne has been running around town raw and getting industry chicks pregnant … and apparently he’s caught himself in what some would call a “love triangle.” According to several (confirmed) recent reports, actress Lauren London AND singer Nivea, who recently went through a divorce from singer/songwriter The Dream, whom she already has 3 kids with, are expecting babies from Weezy! Talk about drama!

But anyway, both ladies are having boys and we hear both of them are about 5/6 months along. And you’ve probably already guessed it but Ms. London is in no way happy about this news. Peep what our boy FreddyO said.

I was told Lauren London was at a loss for words today after finding out that her baby daddy was expecting another child. Lauren who is almost 6 months pregnant didn’t know anything about Nivea’s pregnancy, and found out via Mediatakeout.com (go figure) and was outraged.

Like every other star these days, she took to her Twitter page to express how she felt. But after speaking to a family friend left the topic alone. She then decided to spend the day with her family and close friends. Lauren told her friends that she is worried if her career is over as a result of these issues. As we all know Lauren is on the pinnacle of Black Hollywood as the face of Sean John and reoccurring role in the remake of Beverly Hills 90210 on the CW. A reliable source stated that Wayne doesn’t want anything to do with Lauren.

Today Nivea called Ryan Cameron’s show and confirmed that she is indeed pregnant with a boy. In fact, both of them are pregnant with Wayne’s sons. This is a really bad situation, considering that she is knocked up and the baby daddy is in love with someone else. Lauren London can have any man in the world but she chooses to get with an engaged man… Is the recession effecting men too!!!! This makes Wayne about 4 babies up and 4 baby mamas down. I guess it is true about Wayne … He can f*&^k any girl in this world.
