Madonna lit up the stage last night (Sun Feb 5) as she put on an impressive performance during the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show in an attempt to show the new generation who the real “Queen of Pop” is, just in case they had forgotten.

Her 12-minute-plus performance set featured renditions of her songs “Vogue,” “Music,” “Give Me All Your Luvin” and “Like a Prayer,” along with guest appearances from rappers Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., Hip-Pop group LMFAO and R&B singer Cee-Lo Green.

Madonna‘s big Super Bowl performance (featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.) is just days away, and the latest buzz surrounding the big show is that R&B singer Cee-Lo Green and Hip-Pop group LMFAO will be joining the ladies on stage.

MTV broke the news earlier this week while citing a report from TMZ.com regarding Madonna’s massive halftime stage set, which reportedly features a series of lights that spell out “Vogue” set into the floor, in reference to the hit single she is rumored to be performing.

In addition to Vogue, Madonna will also be performing “Music” (with LMFAO), her brand new single “Give Me All Your Luvin” (featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A.), “Like a Prayer” (with Cee Lo Green), “Ray of Light” and “Holiday.”

Madonna’s 12-minute halftime show will go down this Sunday night (Feb 5) during halftime of Super Bowl XLVI.

The game — which will see the New England Patriots take on the New York Giants — will air live on NBC from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Madonna teams up with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. in her new music video for “Give Me All Your Luvin,” the first single from her upcoming 12th studio album “MDNA,” due in stores March 26th.

The football-themed clip opens up with Nicki and M.I.A. as urban cheerleaders as they march through the city with the Pop Queen by their side, dressed in a dark leather coat and a mini-skirt.

Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. also get a chance to show off their rap skills before the promo clip ends with Madonna exposing the football players as robots.

The video’s release comes just days before the three ladies are set to take the stage together to perform the song Sunday at the Super Bowl.

The Pop Queen recently made an appearance on Anderson Cooper’s talk show “Anderson” and spoke on her love for the Young Money rapper and how she shared a kiss with her on her birthday.

“I listen to Nicki Minaj. I love her. I love [Nicki and M.I.A.] actually and I wanted to collaborate with both of them on my record because I’m a big fan of their music, but also I like their independence, I like their spirit. They’re cheeky and unique and they have individual voices and they’re not conventional pop stars, and I really admire them both.

“It was [Nicki's] birthday and it was actually the end of one of those long days of shooting and we were all giving a birthday toast to her. After a few sips of champagne, I kissed her. Yes.”

Nicki Minaj‘s “Stupid Hoe” music video is already causing controversy. BET has reportedly banned the Young Money star’s latest video from airing on the network.

According to sources, the video is too explicit for TV and the lyrics don’t make things much better either, with Nicki singing Stupid Hoe over a million times in the song.

A rep for BET wouldn’t specify why they won’t be broadcasting it, but we should all know the answer to that one by now.

Hey … at least Nicki broke the Vevo Record of most views in 24 hours (nearly 5 million), so she’s still winning regardless!

The track serves as the first single from her highly anticipated sophomore album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,” now due in stores April 3 after being pushed back from its original Valentine’s Day (Feb 14) release date.

A group of Christian students from the University of Florida have re-worked Nicki Minaj‘s hit single “Super Bass” into a Christian anthem called “Super Grace,” featuring singing, dancing, rapping and a bright blue Nicki Minaj-inspired wig.

The song, written by UF singer Raychel Manko, is supposed to be an ode to “the Christian girl’s struggle to appreciate the wonderful Christian men in her life,” and won first place at a Christian Greek event hosted by the college.

The precocious Pop star was joined by her 13-year-old brother Jaden Smith and a small group of friends as she went shopping on Rodeo Drive wearing a Nicki Minaj-inspired pink and blonde wig.

R&B star Mary J. Blige refuses to take sides in this whole “Lil Kim vs. Nicki Minaj” beef. In fact….Mary J. wants the rap ladies to squash their beef, which she believes is being fueled by their respective crews.

“Kim is my friend and I love and respect Nicki,” Blige said in an interview with Chicago radio station WGCI. “I got to know the young lady and she’s a sweetheart. … It’s the crews [fueling it.] It’s the people behind the whole thing. Maybe one day it will happen. I’m hoping. We just all got to think positive. Everyone is just thinking so negative about it and everyone is in it, but if a bunch of people would say, ‘Yo, stop this and let’s help these girls do something together or to see the light.’”

Wearing a long black wig with bangs, a big fur coat and a pair of red sunglasses, the Young Money rapstress, accompanied by her “friend” Safaree Samuels, kept her head low as she stepped out of her hotel after celebrating her 29th birthday with friends (including Cassie and Diddy) the night before.

Nicki Minaj got a little emotional when she accepted her “Rising Star of 2011″ award last week at Billboard’s 6th Annual Women in Music event.

The award, which Nicki dedicated to her “Barbz” (her fans), highlights an incredible year for the Young Money rapstress. And naturally, she got a little teary eyed as she thanked her loyal fans.

“I just know that I am so incredibly thankful and grateful for a couple little kids. Maybe a few million, I call them my Barbz and I know they are not in here today but I know they will hear me say this,” a teary eyed Nicki Minaj said in her acceptance speech. “Barbz, I love you so much for being by my side for such a long time. Billboard, Thank you so much for recognizing me. Even before Superbass and even before Pink Friday, you believed in me.”

She continued, “All of the women tonight that have been recognized, I am so proud of you for showing me that this can be done, and that this is possible and for showing so many girls that you can be your own boss and that you can make music that you want and that you can project an image that you believe in.”

Immediately after receiving her award, Nicki also thanked “Woman of the Year” award recipient Taylor Swift, who contributed to the success of Nicki’s hit single “Super Bass.”

Nicki told Robin Roberts, “First I saw a radio interview and they asked her what song she liked and she said, ‘Can it be a song that didn’t come out yet’ and she started rapping Super Bass. Then she tweeted that she liked ‘Super Bass’ and then all of her fans who had never heard about Nicki Minaj went and purchased it. Rapstress Nicki Minaj and country-pop sensation Taylor Swift were honored Friday (Dec 2) at the 2011 Billboard Women in Music event at the Capitale in New York City.

Minaj was named Billboard’s “Rising Star,” while Swift received the honorary “Woman of the Year” award. “All the daydreams that I had as a little kid — I guess this is what it looks like,” Taylor told Billboard as she accepted her award.

Nicki was also grateful about being recognized by Billboard, and dedicated her award to her fans, who she affectionately calls her Barbz. “I love you for being by my side for so long,” she said.

Nicki Minaj transforms into her alter ego Roman Zolanski in her new teaser single “Roman Moscow,” assumed to be from her upcoming sophomore album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,” due on Valentine’s Day 2012.

On working with Rihanna:
“I really wanted to bring her into our world, but still allow her to be herself. I think she really shines bright. She comes from a place that’s so rich in culture, so rich in music, but being the most iconic female period right now—next to Nicki Minaj, of course… [Nicki is] just doing incredible, she’s my favorite person.”

On his legacy:
“I want people to really feel like I knew Drake while he was on this Earth. I know everything about him. There were no secrets, there was nothing that he hid, no feelings that he concealed. In five years, hopefully I have a couple more projects out that surpass Take Care, but I would like for them to say I remember that moment when I wasn’t sure what was gonna happen and Drake delivered an album that served a purpose in my life.”

On making good, quality music:

In the middle of Nicki’s rap verse, the pink-haired performer segued into her smash hit “Super Bass,” with DJ David Guetta backing her up on the turntables and Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez singing along in the audience.

Rappers Kanye West, Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj, as well as rock band Maroon 5, all lended their musical talents to the runway of the 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, held last Wednesday (Nov 9) in New York.

After performing his hit “Stronger” and dedicating it to his mom, the late Donda West, who he called his “superangel,” Kanye West was joined onstage by Jay-Z for their first televised performance of “N**gas In Paris,” the next single from their collaboration album “Watch the Throne.”

Next came Maroon 5, who performed their hit “Moves Like Jagger” as the models strutted their stuff down the runway.

Front-man Adam Levine broke away from the band when his girlfriend Anne V. hit the runway, and he serenaded her as the pair walked hand-in-hand down the catwalk.

And last but not least was femcee Nicki Minaj, who helped close out the show with a performance of her hit single “Super Bass.”

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on Tuesday, November 29th at 10 pm ET on CBS.

Willow Smith and Nicki Minaj have teamed up once again, this time for the video for their new single “Fireball.”

Decked out in a leather jacket, combat jeans and boots, 11-year-old Willow was spotted alongside an even more eccentrically dressed Nicki Minaj (with her pink wig and a dress made of stuffed animals) over the weekend in Los Angeles to shoot the video for the song, which is set to feature on Willow’s upcoming debut album.

Willow’s famous parents Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith, as well as her big brother Jaden, were all reportedly on set cheering her along.

Willow has already released two moderately successful singles, and says she was excited to learn that she was working with Minaj on a third one.

Talking about their collaboration, Willow gushed to Access Hollywood:

“It was really great because the first time I heard her on the actual track, I was like ‘Who’s that?’ And they said ‘Oh, it’s Nicki.’ I said ‘Oh my gosh, that’s so great!’ I just got really excited so I’m really grateful for that. We recorded [the song] in two different places, so I got to meet her at the BET Awards and it was really cool. She wore her little skeleton outfit and I was like ‘Aw, that’s really cool!’”

Willow said that when she first met Nicki, it was a brief encounter just as the rapper was making her way to the stage to perform, so the duo didn’t get a chance to discuss a duet.

So when Willow’s people told her that Nicki agreed to rap on the song, it was a total surprise.

“It was a surprise for me,” she recalled. “They told me she was going to be on it, but I was like ‘That’s not gonna happen.’ Then later on, they told me ‘She’s on the song’ and I was like ‘That’s awesome!’”

But apparently Willow isn’t in the only one excited about their collaboration. Nicki Minaj tweeted a candid photo of herself from the set posing with the Smiths along with the following message:

“I’m the newest member of the family! Lmaoooooo. How cute are they barbz???? Willow goin ham in the video.”

A beautician alleges she felt the wrath of Nicki Minaj when the rapper was left unsatisfied after having her eyebrows and lip waxed recently.

Dawn LaLuise, a celebrity facialist, says Nicki Minaj yelled and threw money at her before storming out of her Dawn DaLuise Skin Refinery clinic in L.A.

“After I waxed her eyebrows and lip, she started screaming, ‘Who the f**k do you think you are? Look what you did to my damn face! You think this s**t is worth $170?’ It’s a shame when you see a darling girl turn into a temperamental diva,” Dawn told tabloid Star Magazine.

But Dawn claims this isn’t the first time she witnessed Nicki Minaj’s wrath. She recalled, “I arrived at her condo one afternoon, her eyes were dilated, her wig was falling off, her face was covered in red sores and she was perspiring heavily. She was swearing and screaming at her assistant.”

Dawn’s allegations against Nicki Minaj comes just weeks after police were called to the 28-year-old rapper’s home following an argument with a hired maid.

Two weeks before the incident, Nicki fired one of her workers after they took a picture out of the rapper’s trash and asked her to sign it. When a new maid was sent to the house, Nicki mistook her for the other woman, leading to an altercation.

After the new maid refused to leave, she reportedly told Nicki that she refused to be “treated like an animal,” to which Nicki replied, “I’ll show you how to treat someone like an animal … get the f**k out of my house!”

Sounds like Nicki Minaj has some serious anger issues to us!

Nicki Minaj is firing back at reports claiming that her maid was attacked and forced out of her home.

Last week we reported that Nicki’s maid returned to her home after she was fired weeks ago for taking a photo of the Young Money star out of the trash and asking for an autograph.

Nicki instantly became furious about her coming back and ended up getting into an altercation with the maid, which allegedly led Nicki’s boyfriend Safaree to push the maid out of the house. Shortly afterwards, the maid’s boss filed a battery report.

Now, Nicki is denying the incident and says the maid is money hungry and looking for attention.

According to TMZ:

Nicki is adamant … the maid is full of crap … insisting no one ever got forceful in any way during the altercation.

Nicki is telling friends … the maid is just out for hush money — hoping the “Super Bass” singer will simply pay her off to make her go away.

Attempts to reach the maid in question were unsuccessful.

All of this sounds like a lot of drama for no reason. We believe Nicki went ballistic on the maid, but we also believe the maid more than likely deserved it!

The Young Money head honcho recently revealed in his Vibe Magazine November 2011 cover story that his female protege is nowhere near the end and has a lot of work left to do in order to impress him.

If you ever get the chance to work for Nicki Minaj, here’s a word of advice. One thing you NEVER, EVER, EVER do is take her picture out of the trash and ask her to sign it. (That’s a big NO-NO!)

The Young Money rapper got into a nasty altercation yesterday with a former maid over an incident that occurred weeks ago involving a trash can and an autographed picture.

TMZ has all the details below:

Here’s the backstory. Law enforcement tells us, a couple of weeks ago, Nicki’s maid took a photo of the singer out of the trash and then asked Nicki to sign it.  Nicki got pissed and fired her.

Cops tell us, the maid did come back today, and Nicki became enraged and ordered her to leave. A source privy to the fight tells TMZ, the maid stood her ground, demanding not to be “treated like an animal” — at which point, Nicki allegedly said, “I’ll show you how to treat someone like an animal … get the f**k out of my house!”

Now here’s where the stories are a bit conflicting.  One source says — contrary to what the cops say –  Nicki actually made a mistake, saw another maid and assumed she was the one Nicki had fired.

We have had multiple people involved in the incident tell us … the maid Nicki confronted was NOT the same maid she fired a few weeks ago.  It was a case of mistaken identity.

Either way, Nicki’s boyfriend got in the act and began pushing the maid with his body.  The maid’s boss called the cops and filed a battery report.

The cops came and the maid asked to make a citizen’s arrest, but eventually decided against it so no one was taken into custody.

Damn … we kind of feel bad for the lady. Nicki know she could have hooked ol’ girl up with an autograph. SMH!

Nicki Minaj has one hell of a sense of humor!

The rapstress recently mocked her Young Money boss Lil Wayne and his 30-minute “public service announcement” released earlier this month by doing her own rendition in a much shorter clip.

Decked out in camouflage pants, a white tank top, some bling and her now famous blonde dreadlocks, Nicki Minaj did her best Weezy impersonation, as the “Female Weezy,” keeping a straight face throughout the entire 7-minute video, which was shot on location in Miami during a break on the set of Birdman’s “Y.U. Mad” video (featuring an appearance from the Female Weezy and Lil Wayne himself).

Nicki Minaj seems to be everywhere these days. But one place you won’t be seeing her is in the upcoming video for “Y U Mad,” even though she sings on the hook and has her own verse.

But how is that even possible? …. Well, according to MTV News, she’s been replaced by “The Female Weezy,” and she even has the wardrobe and hairstyle to match!

Nicki Minaj, who is on the song but wasn’t on set was replaced by The Female Weezy. Dressed in camouflaged skater pants and exposed boxer shorts, while sporting blonde dreadlocks, Lady Wayne fully embodied the Young Money CEO. It was all in good fun.

“Honestly though, I don’t think no one is actually mad, it’s just a figure of speech,” Wayne explained to MTV News, analyzing Nicki Minaj’s hook on the song. “I think Nick just sounded good saying ‘mad’ at that point in the song. I don’t think it would’ve been cooler if she said, ‘That’s why you glad.’”

So …. Nicki Minaj is the “Female Lil Wayne” is this video? That definitely explains the dreadlocks! But why?

As Drake gears up for the November 15th release of his sophomore album “Take Care,” the chart-topping Young Money rapper made his “Saturday Night Live” debut over the weekend, and performed two of his latest singles, “Headlines” and “Make Me Proud,” with a little help from his label-mate Nicki Minaj.

Nicki Minaj rocks another one of her famously eccentric looks on the cover of the November 2011 issue of W Magazine.

The Young Money femcee, well-known for her wacky wardrobe, was shot by Francesco Vezzoli for an “Ultimate Makeover” photo spread that will be a part of W Magazine’s upcoming “Fashion Meets Art” issue.

“I wanted to play with the public image of a female hip-hop star. During my entire career, I have always been fascinated by powerful women in history. I have spent a lot of time researching the ways they were represented in art and how their images were used to mold the public imagination—and to convey aesthetic and philosophical ideas about beauty and sexual desire. My main interest has been to link the historical artistic approach to female representation to contemporary icons of the media era.

“In my most recent works, for example, I transformed Princess ­Caroline of Hanover into a Garbo-esque Queen Christina, I asked ­actress Eva Mendes to become three symbols of classical sculpture (Venus, Saint ­Teresa, and Paolina Borghese), and I framed Lady Gaga into a de ­Chirico–inspired robotic extravaganza. For W, I wanted to turn the lovely Nicki Minaj into a powdered 18th-century courtesan.

“In her performances, Minaj makes very explicit and ­challenging use of her beauty and her body, so I thought of comparing her to some of the most famous courtesans in history: the Marquise de ­Montespan, Comtesse du Barry, Madame de Pompadour, and ­Madame Rimsky-­Korsakov. My idea was to reproduce four iconic portraits of some of the most fascinating females of the past in a series starring an American pop-culture role model. We tried to re-create those original portraits using similar furniture, props, and clothing, à la Visconti. Luckily enough, the result came out as surreal as it could be, just as I wished.”

Drake is really, really, really proud of Nicki Minaj and even though we already know this … he wants us to know again!

Nicki Minaj‘s big ol’ boobies were put on display as she announced the nominees and performers for the upcoming 2011 American Music Awards during a press conference in Los Angeles Tuesday (Oct 11).

The “Super Bass” singer, who scored two nominations of her own, showed up the press conference with a half blonde/half blue wig and a colorful bikini-like top, paired with a matching skirt. She also posed for a few pictures with rapper Pitbull, who along with Katy Perry, were the only performers announced for the show so far.

In addition to Nicki, her boss Lil Wayne is also nominated, as well as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Adele, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Jay-Z & Kanye West, Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Usher and many more.

The 2011 American Music Awards will air live from the Nokia Theater in L.A. on November 20th at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Youtube sensation Grace Brownie‘s viral “SuperBass” video has been getting a lot more attention than anyone could have expected.

Yesterday, the 8 year-old and her 5 year-old cousin appeared on the “Ellen” show … to unknowingly be surprised by Nicki Minaj who popped up from backstage!

Along with being able to perform the song for Nicki, Grace also received some great advice from the Young Money femcee.

In a recent interview with Elle Magazine, the Young Money emcee spoke on getting hurt by the 23 year-old pop star, his Twitter marriage to Nicki Minaj, and on whether-or-not he has had a three-some.

On getting hurt by Rihanna:
“At the time it hurt, but she didn’t mean to. I’ll never put that on her. I was hurt because I slowly started to realize what it was. I guess I thought it was more. That was the first girl with any fame that paid me any mind. You spend days reading about this person in magazines. All of a sudden you have this number-one song and you’re at some birthday party and there she is. And you’re just some naive kid from Toronto staying in some shitty-ass hotel who got invited to this party on a whim. That’s just how it happened.”

On being lonely:
When you’re on the road and moving city to city, when someone isn’t there at the end of the night, you feel empty. The 15 or 20 seconds after a man reaches his climax is the realest moment he’ll ever have in his life. And if you happen to be with somebody that isn’t someone you want to converse with, you start feeling like, I wish I was just here watching True Blood by myself.”

On his fake Twitter marriage to Nicki Minaj:
I don’t know if we were really pretending. I’d marry Nicki. I think Nicki would be one of the only people that would understand me at the end of all of this and be able to love me.

On bringing girls home to mom:
The most intense thing I’ve ever done was bring a girl to Passover dinner. [My mom] just wants me to be happy, but I’m sure she’d love it if I married a Jewish girl.

On receiving naked pictures:
If you send them without me asking, it’s like, You’ve done this before. But I’m away a lot. If there’s a woman I’m into, I might want to get a picture from her to handle business myself, as opposed to doing something I might regret.

On if he’s had a threesome:
I’ve never had one. I swear. I’m a one-woman kind of guy.

If only more guys opened up like this…….the world would be a much more emotional place.

Nicki Minaj looks like a modern-day Catwoman on the cover of the November 2011 issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine, where the rap-stress talks about dealing with guys in the industry, the difference between herself and Lady Gaga, her abusive father and how she had suicidal thoughts back when she was a struggling artist.

The Young Money front-woman also revealed a list of things she sees herself doing over the next 5-10 years:

In 5 Years: “I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that, will have a bun in the oven”"

In 10 Years: “I’ll have hundreds of millions of dollars I will have put out five albums & will have an Oscar & Grammys”

On having suicidal thoughts in the past:
“I kept having doors slammed in my face. I felt like nothing was working. I had moved out on my own, and here I was thinking I’d have to go home. It was just one dead end after another. At one point, I was, like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt. Like maybe I should just take my life?’ I would pray to God to make me famous so that I could buy my mother a huge house.”

On her abusive father:
“He would beg, cry, stalk us… One time, he pulled my mother out of a car and dragged her for two blocks. After that, I had a phobia about unlocked doors. Anywhere my mother and I were, I made sure the door was locked, because that was my only way to protect her.”

On the difference between herself and Lady Gaga:
“I think Gaga is freakin’ dope for that. But I can’t be bothered. Give me my sweats. I like transforming from completely raggedy to ‘Ahhh, I’m ready’. That transformation gives me a high.”

On what physically attracts her to a man:
“I do like a dope nose profile, one that’s straight on the side. And I like full lips. I’ve never kissed someone who didn’t have full lips.”

On dealing with guys in the industry:
“When you come into the business as a woman, you have to pay a lot of mind games because the men tend to be very aggressive. It’s like chess—you have to protect your goods. Had I just started screwing the guys, it would’ve been over because they never would’ve taken me seriously.”

Nicki Minaj was one of the many big name acts to take the stage over the weekend at the inaugural iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas.

Dressed in a ruffled pink tutu-style dress and with pink rubber boots), the Young Money rapper put on one hell of a show as she performed a set that included her songs “Super Bass,” “Fly,” “Did It on Em,” “Roman’s Revenge” and “Moment for Life”

Nicki Minaj looked purr-ffect in this leopard-print catsuit like get-up at the Oscar De La Renta New York Fashion Week Fashion Show at West 42nd Street. Believe it or not, this is probably the most normal thing she’s worn all week.

Also spotted in the crowd at the Oscar De La Renta show were Nicki’s front-row BFF Anna Wintour, singer/actor Justin Timberlake, and fashion designer Rachel Zoe.

Nicki Minaj wore a strange looking multi-color outfit (with gumdrops all over? lol) as she attended the Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 Fashion Show at The Theater at Lincoln Center Monday (Sep 12) during New York Fashion Week. The 28-year-old rapper also sat in the front row right next to Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

R&B singer Corrine Bailey Rae and actresses Renee Zellweger and Olivia Munn were also spotted at the Carolina Herrara show.
