Rapper Flo Rida performed live on stage at the top 8 elimination show for the 8th season of popular Fox series American Idol at a Los Angeles taping of the show. He performed his hit single, “Right Round” and decided to keep it clean for the kids and their parents, and kept his shirt on.

Singer Leona Lewis attended and performed at the Grammy Celebration Concert Tour presented by T-Mobile Sidekick Thursday night at the Hollywood Palladium in Caliofrnia.

Rapper Mims just released his sophomore album Guilt this past Tuesday and above he can be seen at his album release party Tuesday night at Citrine in New York. Looks like the poor guy was the only one in attendance.

Actress Anika Noni Rose attended the 36th annual Whitney M. Young, Jr. Awards dinner, held last night at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel Thursday night in Los Angeles. Anika will deliver the voice for Disney’s first animated Black princess (Princess Tiana) in their new movie, The Princess and the Frog, set to be release later this year.

Actress Alfre Woodard attended the awards dinner too.

Singer Kat Deluna hit up Paper Magazine’s The Beautiful People Party 2009 at the Hiro Ballroom in the Maritime Hotel Thursday night in New York.

MIMS Covers April 2008 O’Zone

Take a gander at what we found while doing some spring cleaning in our inbox over the past couple of days. Your boy MIMS is featured on the cover of the latest (April 2008?) issue of O’Zone magazine. We haven’t heard from this dude since back in ’07 when he was reminding us why he was hot. Then he just disappeared. But now, apparently … he’s back. We did a little research and found out he’s coming out with an album titled Guilt, and it has a street release date of April 7th. Not sure if the date has changed or not, but we find it rather strange how there’s no music video out for this dude yet…
