Just like you and me, Busta Rhymes loves himself a good late night cheeseburger after leaving the club. But apparently, he likes them a little more than the average person. So much so that he he went apeshit on the staff at a cheeseburger joint in Miami because he couldn’t get one fast enough.

According to a report from the Miami New Times, Busta and his crew showed up at Cheeseburger Baby in South Beach around 6 a.m. and demanded that he be able to skip the line so that he could get his food faster.

Restaurant owner Stephanie Vitori said after her staff members refused to allow Busta to cut the line, he threw a tantrum and called Vitori a “bitch,” and called another employee a “fag,” and threatened to “come get [them].”

“We have had everyone from Jay-Z to Anthony Bourdain eat at Cheeseburger Baby,” Vitori says. “Never have we had a problem with a celebrity. That changed last night.”

When Busta rolled into Cheeseburger Baby, Vitori says, it was 5:45 a.m., a time that’s typically busy for the restaurant, as servers are slinging burgers to partiers on their way home from clubs. Busta wanted to be served first, and the restaurant refused.

“He got very upset when we wouldn’t take his order first when he was the last one to come in. We treat everyone as equals here at CBB. You can’t skip the line of ten people waiting in front of you,” Vitori explains.

Instead, he returned to his car to wait for his order. But after his food was delivered to him in the car, Vitori says, “He came back in the restaurant and started becoming outwardly angry. He was calling our delivery driver Santiago a ‘fag’ multiple times, and me a ‘bitch’ and [telling] me ‘to shut the fuck up’ because we put his salt, pepper, ketchup, and mayo — that he asked for — on the side.

“On the side is just how we do it,” she explains. “We don’t want your burger getting soggy!”

Vitori said Busta “caused such a scene” that she was forced to call the police on him, which at least got him to leave the restaurant.

But Busta’s freakout didn’t end there, the New Times notes.

“Top it all off, a few minutes later he called us to let us know there was no cheese on his burger, which was untrue, and that he was going to ‘come get us,’” Vitori says. “I deal with drunk and disorderly people all the time. I have been doing this for 11 years, but never in my life have I felt more disrespected as a business owner or woman.”

Damn Busta! We’ve all been there. It was late. You were hungry. But to go mayhem like that — calling people fags and bitches and what-not — over a damn cheeseburger? A cheeseburger. Really.

Grow up and learn some damn patience.

Back in 2011, rumors surfaced about Soulja Boy possibly signing to Cash Money Records, after Soulja broke the news of YMCMB CEO Birdman’s alleged interest in him.

At the time, Birdman shot down the rumors, saying that he’d never sign an artist that was already under a deal, but now that Soulja Boy is no longer signed to Interscope and is therefore is now a free agent, it looks like Birdman is ready to snatch him up while he can.

On Monday (Mar 11), Birdman posted a new photo on Twitter of himself with a freshly inked tattoo of the “Rich Gang” logo from his new mixtape on the side of his face.

And just three days before that, on the 8th, Soulja Boy posted a photo on his Instagram showing off his new “Rich Gang” tattoo on his face, which has rehashed the rumors that the struggling rapper is preparing to sign a new record deal with YMCMB.

Also, earlier this week, on Sunday, Birdman seemed to be hinting at the new deal with the following tweet:

And for what it’s worth, judging by his Instagram feed, Soulja Boy has been spending a lot of time in South Beach recently with Birdman and the rest of the YMCMB squad, including his BFF Bow Wow, Young Money president Mack Maine, YMCMB DJ Stevie J and Cash Money rapper Ace Hood.

Plus, Soulja’s longtime manager Miami Mike has been down in Miami kicking it with the rapper as well, and as Rap Break points out, if you’re negotiating a new deal, your manager would most certainly be present.

So based on all of that information alone — the “Rich Gang” tattoo, the time spent in Miami with Birdman and the YMCMB crew, the fact that Soulja Boy NEEDS this — we would say that a “big” announcement making Soulja Boy’s new record deal with Cash Money official is on the way.

The South Florida teenager who was sentenced to 30 days in prison after reportedly flipping off a judge and saying “f*ck you” has apologized for her ratchet behavior, and as a result, was released from prison.

Earlier this week, a viral video showing 18-year-old Penelope Soto flipping the bird at Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat during a court hearing last Monday (Feb 4).

Throughout the entire hearing, Soto — appearing on a Xanax possession charge — maintained a snarky attitude and was seen giggling and making jokes, and after having enough, the judge raised her $5,000 bond to $10,000. After verifying that he was serious, and he was most certainly serious, she flipped him off and said “fuck you.”

Not surprisingly, Judge Rodriguez-Chomat charged Soto with contempt of court and sentenced her to 30 days in jail. But on Friday (Feb 9), Soto appeared at a second hearing with a brand new attitude, and apologized to Rodriguez-Chomat for insulting him.

“I normally don’t act like that … My behavior was very irrational, and I apologize not only to the court and you, but to my family,” Penelope Soto told Rodriguez-Chomat, as her lawyer and relatives stood next to her.

In response to her “heartfelt” apology, which probably came at the advice of her family and/or lawyer, the judge decided to drop the 30-day contempt sentence. Judge Rodriguez-Chomat also did away with the $10,000 bond he had set, which allowed Soto to be released from jail straight from the courtroom.

Among the reasons he cited for dropping her contempt sentence and the $10K bond were her being a first-time offender, her admitting to abusing Xanax, and her willingness to overcome her addiction by going to rehab, as well as her apology.

Soto’s lawyer also publicly apologized on her client’s behalf, and offered the excuse that Soto had been “impaired” by drugs and alcohol before she acted out in court Monday. “That impairment, even though I don’t condone her actions, led her to the conduct that was contemptuous before you,” the attorney said.

The judge agreed that while the teen did make some terrible choices, she wasn’t entirely to blame for her behavior, though he does hope she has learned her lesson.

“I should not even call you as totally responsible. We live in a society where if you listen to music, every other word is a profanity,” Rodriguez-Chomat said. “We live in a society where young people like you feel like it’s perfectly OK to call all kinds of names to their teachers and their professors and their friends. And they think that’s OK.”

Rodriguez-Chomat continued, “We live in a society where police officers are abused on a daily basis, mostly by young people who believe it’s OK to call policemen all kinds of names. That’s totally unacceptable.”

He added, “Lesson No. 1 is that drugs can put you in a very difficult situation. It is because of your use of Xanax — which I understand is a party drug — can put you, convert you, make you a felon, a convicted felon. It can put you in a county jail like you have been.”

“Good luck to you, Miss Soto,” the judge concluded. “I really do hope that you learned your lesson.”

Penelope Soto, a Florida teen who was arrested for possession of Xanex, recently learned what most of us already know: don’t disrespect the person that holds your freedom in their hands.

According to MSN Now, Soto was sentenced to 30 days in prison after flipping the bird to Miami Circuit Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat. The no-nonsense judge charged her with contempt of court.

The offensive gesture was captured in a video posted on LiveLeak. The footage shows Rodriguez-Chomat asking Soto what her assets are. Soto said that she had a car and “a lot” of jewelry and that it was “like Rick Ross” and “worth a lot of money.”

The 18-year-old maintained a snarky attitude throughout the entire exchange. Rodriguez-Chomat wasn’t having any of that and in the words of 30 Rock’s Liz Lemon, he shut. it. down.

“It’s not a joke, you know, we’re not in a club now. We are not in a club, be serious about it,” he snapped.

The judge let her go with a bond set at $5,000 but when Soto decided to part with an obnoxious “adios,” he increased it to $10,000. In other words, the gal got served!

When Soto asked “Are you serious?” He replied “I am serious. Adios.” And that’s when she flipped him off.

As if that wasn’t enough, the feather-brained young woman also said to him, “fuck you,” as she flipped him the bird.

Not surprisingly, Rodriguez-Chomat decided to punish Soto by sentencing her to 30 days in the slammer.

We’re guessing she’ll think twice before insulting a legal official in the future. Or not.

Last night’s big game between the New York Knicks and Miami Heat at the American Airlines Arena brought out a number of celebs, including Kanye West & Kim Kardashian, Diddy, Lil Wayne and others.

Kim is currently shooting a new season of her “Kourtney & Kim Take Miami” reality show, so naturally, Kanye flew out to Miami and the two went out together to watch the Heat take on the Knicks.While there, they ran into Diddy, who was also spotted courtside, along with Lil Wayne and Mack Maine.

Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony was unable to play due to an injury, but he was seen chatting it up with his good friends LeBron James and Dwyane Wade before the game. And despite Carmelo (and also Amare Stoudemire) sitting out the game, with the latter recovering from a knee injury, the Knicks were able to defeat the Heat in a 20-point victory, 112 to 92.

It’s been a minute since Kanye West has had a violent episode with another person, but it looks like the controversial rapper is back to his old ways.

As Kanye and his girlfriend Kim Kardashian were making their way out of NYC restaurant Prime 112 Sunday night (Oct 4), a brave photographer thought it would be cool to point out to the couple that Reggie Bush (Kim’s ex boyfriend) and his pregnant girlfriend Lilit Avagyan were dining right across the street at Prime 112′s sister restaurant Prime Italian. (See photographic evidence below)

In an obvious attempt to antagonize Kanye, the female paparazzo then proceeded to ask Yeezy if he had congratulated Reggie on the news of his new baby … and that’s when Kanye lost it. That little angry man that lives inside of him was unleashed!

And his girlfriend couldn’t do nothing but hold him back as she tried to contain her own laughter. (Notice the smirk on her face below?)

That poor woman didn’t even see it coming. Geez … a simple “no comment” or just plain silence would have worked, Ye.

A Miami rapper known as “Bizzle” was reportedly shot and killed Monday night (Oct 15) outside a car washing business with his two young children nearby.

According to reports out of Miami, 37-year-old Robert Labranche apparently became involved in an argument with someone at the Magic City car wash before he was shot and killed.

Miami police officers on patrol near the area say they heard gunshots at around 8 p.m. and after searching the area found Labranche’s body on the ground behind the car wash.

The man had two children — a son and a daughter, both younger than 10 years old — inside an SUV parked out front, but fortunately, they were not hurt and did not see the incident first-hand, Miami police said.

In the hours that followed the tragic shooting incident, word began to spread on Twitter and Facebook that Lebranche was a Miami rapper known as “Bizzle,” as noted by his MySpace profile and several video performances posted on YouTube.

The morning after the shooting, Bizzle’s friends, family and supporters all gathered outside the car wash, which was owned by the local rapper.

Among the mourners was Bizzle’s former manager Alex Pierre-Louis, who said Bizzle was a well-liked businessman who employed young men to work at his car wash.

“He didn’t grow up with a lot of money. If he saw a little kid buying food at Wendy’s he paid for the food. He was always looking out for people,” Pierre-Louis told reporters.

Police are still looking for the shooter, but they believe a man in his 20′s (wearing all black) who they saw running from the scene after the shooting might have had something to do with it.

NFL star Michael Vick and his longtime girlfriend/baby mama Kijafa Frink got married in a lavish wedding ceremony Saturday (Jun 30) at the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami.

According to GossipExtra.com, security alone for the ceremony set the Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback back at least $300,000, which is probably chump change for Vick, who recently signed a $100 million six-year contract with the Eagles.

Following a pre-wedding cocktail party that began before sunset at an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean, guests moved into a large ballroom where both the ceremony and reception took place.

The vibe was relaxed, with hookahs on the tables and R&B music playing in the background. There were at least 300 of Vick’s family members, friends and colleagues in attendance, including Eagles running back LaSean McCoy and head coach Andy Reid, as well as Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Roddy White and free agent wideout Plaxico Burress, among other NFL players.

The decor featured lots of white candles, white flowers and blinged out chandeliers.

The menu was a mixture of lobster, oysters and shrimp, and even chicken and waffles, something that the Fontainebleau — one of South Florida’s most expensive hotels (where wedding dinners start at nearly $200/plate) — had reportedly never served before.

The groomsmen went with a tropical theme and paired their tuxes with pink and purple shirts.

Security was also pretty tight, with police stationed outside the ballroom to collect cameras and cell phones from guests, so that they wouldn’t be tempted to tweet pictures from the private event.

Michael Vick and Kijafa Frink have been together since 2001, back when Vick played college football for Virginia Tech, and the couple stuck together through the worst of times, even when Vick was serving time in prison after his infamous dog fighting scandal.

After 8 years together, Vick proposed to his longtime girlfriend in 2009 at her 29th birthday party, getting down on one knee in front of dozens of guests.

The following year, the NFL player gave his fiancee a fully loaded Porsche Panamera for her 30th birthday.

“I watched him develop from a little boy to a grown man,” Kijafa told NBC Philadelphia.

Michael and Kijafa have two daughters together, and Kijafa runs her own Philadelphia-based jewelry business PnkElephant.

When asked what she likes most about her husband, Kijafa said, “I like Mike ’cause he’s humble … He’s really, really down to earth. You wouldn’t think that somebody of his stature would be just like a regular guy.”

“He’s so chill … He’s not cocky. He’s not what a lot of people think that he is. I think the media portrays him to be a monster…a mean person. He’s not like that. He’s a gentle giant,” she added.

Authorities have released the full toxicology report from the autopsy of Rudy Eugene — the man who made headlines after he chewed another man’s face off in Miami on Memorial Day Weekend — and, contrary to popular belief, it looks like bath salts, or any other outrageous drugs for that matter, were NOT behind the gruesome attack.

According to a statement on the full toxicology report by the Miami-Dade medical examiner, the only drug detected in the 31-year-old’s lifeless body …. was marijuana. MARI … FREAKIN … JUANA!

Medical examiner Dr. Bruce Hyma said in his statement, “The laboratory has tested for but not detected any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs…This includes cocaine, LSD, amphetamines (Ecstasy, Meth and others), phencyclidine (PCP or Angel Dust), heroin, oxycodone, Xanax, synthetic marijuana (Spice), and many other similar compounds.

A second forensic toxicology test conducted by a separate lab also confirmed the absence of the most comment ingredients found in bath salts, which mimic the effects of cocaine or methamphetamine and have been associated with various bizarre “zombie attack”-like crimes in recent months, and many — including Miami police officials — believed they were what caused Rudy Eugene to attack Ronald Poppo, and chew off at least 70% of his face.

“Within the limits of current technology by both laboratories,” the statement continued, “marijuana is the only drug identified in the body of Mr. Rudy Eugene.”

But that doesn’t necessarily mean weed — literally the least harmful “drug” known to man — is what made Rudy Eugene eat Ronald Poppo‘s face. According to the Miami Herald, the medical examiner’s report didn’t address previously reported autopsy findings of what appeared to be undigested pills in Eugene’s stomach … so we’ll most likely never know what really unhinged Eugene and caused him to act so violently

As Dr. Bruce Goldberger, Professor and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida, noted in a report from the Associated Press, “The problem today is that there is an almost an infinite number of chemical substances out there that can trigger unusual behavior,” adding that the medical examiner’s office in Miami is known for doing thorough work, and he’s confident that they, as well as the second lab, covered as much ground as possible.

Still, Dr. Goldberger says that it’s almost impossible for toxicology testing to keep up with all of these new street drugs that literally come out of nowhere.

“There are many of these synthetic drugs that we currently don’t have the methodology to test on, and that is not the fault of the toxicology lab. The challenge today for the toxicology lab is to stay on top of these new chemicals and develop methodologies for them, but it’s very difficult and very expensive.” Goldberger said. “There is no one test or combination of tests that can detect every possible substance out there.”

Dr. Patricia Junquera, who is an assistant professor at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and is considered an expert on addictions, said she wouldn’t rule out the fact that a different “strain” of marijuana could have caused the attack.

“It could have been the strain of marijuana that increases the dopamine in the brain,” she said, adding that there are two strains of marijuana called sativa, which increases dopamine and gives you energy, and indica, which is a “sleepy high.”

“People don’t really know what the amount of either is in each little packet of marijuana,” Dr. Junquera explained. “And we can’t differentiate between the two in the blood, much less in a dead person.”

She also suggested that if Eugene suffered from a mental health condition, “the marijuana could have increased even further the dopamine levels and aggravated the situation,” which, she says, is why marijuana can’t be totally ruled out.

It’s been a little over a month since the May 26th incident, and officials still have no clue what led 31-year-old Rudy Eugene to attack Ronald Poppo, a 65-year-old homeless man who was asleep moments before the assault occurred.

Surveillance video from the Miami Herald’s parking garage nearby captured the 18-minute attack, in which Poppo woke up to Eugene stripping him naked, and beating him senseless, while his attacker used his bare teeth to chew off pieces of the flesh from his face.

The police officer who shot and killed Eugene said he growled at him, with pieces of Poppo’s face hanging from his mouth, when he was told to stop.

Surprisingly, the homeless man survived the bizarre attack, however … to this day, Ronald Poppo remains in a Miami hospital with some of the most serious injuries to his face doctors have ever seen.

According to local reports out of Miami, Rudy Eugene — a former football player for the North Miami Beach High School — was once diagnosed as schizophrenic after an arrest, and authorities are unsure as to whether or not he sought treatment for the condition.

Eugene was also reportedly accused of threatening to kill his mother in another incident in which he was arrested. But despite all of that, his friends and family members say they never expected the man they knew to commit such a horrific act.

Eugene’s friends and family have said that he was a religious, non-violent person, and that he didn’t drink or do any drugs other than marijuana. Eugene was reportedly participating in a Bible study and telling friends he wanted to stop smoking weed.

“There’s no answer for it, not really,” Eugene’s younger brother, Marckenson Charles, said in an interview. “Anybody who knew him knows this wasn’t the person we knew him to be. Whatever triggered him, there is no answer for this.”

Charles said that Eugene has been buried, and his family doesn’t plan on pursuing any legal action against the Miami PD for killing Eugene because they understand that the police had to use “the force they felt was necessary, even if we don’t agree with that.”

Meanwhile, despite the victim’s injuries (he lost an eye and his nose, and must undergo another round of reconstructive surgery), Ronald Poppo is said to be “doing well,” according to doctors at the Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.

His doctors say that mental health professionals have been helping him with the coping, and he’s coping “remarkably well.” Poppo’s family has said that they haven’t been in contact with him for more than 30 years and thought he was dead.

Now that we know that “bath salts” didn’t do it (and we know marijuana for damn sure didn’t do it)…

It was a long road for King James … but he’s finally here! After 9 seasons in the league, LeBron James won the first ring of his NBA career Thursday night (Jun 21) … after the Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Finals.

When all was said and done in Game 5, LeBron James had 26 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists, which helped his team to beat the OKC Thunder, 121 – 106, completing a 4-1 series over the boys in blue.

“It means everything,” LeBron James said just moments after the biggest win of his NBA career.

“I made a difficult decision to leave Cleveland but I understood what my future was about … I knew we had a bright future (in Miami). This is a dream come true for me. This is definitely when it pays off.”

His first thought when the clock struck zero, and it finally hit him that he had won his first NBA title?

“It’s about damn time … It’s about damn time,” James said, adding that Miami’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks in last year’s NBA Finals gave him all the motivation he needed to take this year’s title.

“Losing in the Finals last year put me back in place,” the 2012 NBA and 2012 NBA Finals MVP said.

“It humbled me a lot. I was able to go back to the basics. A lot of people had a lot to do with it. But at the end of the day, I just looked in myself in the mirror and said, ‘You need to be better.’ Both on and off the floor. I’m happy I was able to put myself and our team in a position to win this.”

As far as the rest of LeBron’s team is concerned … Dwyane Wade finished with 20 points, Chris Bosh had 24, Shane Battier scored 11, Mario Chalmers finished with 10 … and Mike Miller was definitely the stand-out player of the game (next to LBJ of course), after he, despite his injured back, scored seven out of eight three-pointers, and contributed a total of 23 points.

The 2012 NBA title marks the second championship for the Miami Heat, who defeated the Dallas Mavericks for their first title in 2006 during the Dwyane Wade/Shaquille O’Neal era.

Now that LeBron finally has that ring, we’re sure everyone has the same question on their mind: What’s next?

“Look ma … no pants!”

Miley Cyrus was spotted out in Miami on her way to a recording studio on Thursday (Jun 14), and the newly engaged 19-year-old singer was wearing an over-sized flannel shirt … and no pants underneath.

The former “Hannah Montana” actress was accompanied by her friend/assistant Cheyne Thomas, who carried her luggage for her as they exited Miley’s hotel.

Earlier this week, just days after announcing her engagement to actor Liam Hemsworth … Miley and Cheyne were spotted swimming together at the very same hotel (with Liam nowhere in sight), sparking rumors that she was cheating on her new fiance.

But Miley took to her Twitter later that day to quickly dispel those rumors:

“So now because I am engaged I can’t have a friend of the opposite sex? can’t have a friend help me out while I’m working alllll day? #dumb

Maybe YOU would have friends too if you’d get your face out the tabloids & start living your own life :) unfortunate.

I love my fiancé & he loves me. All the rest is bull sh*t. We get to live a life of happiness no one can take that away from us!”

Cheyne also fought back against rumors that there is something going on between him and Miley:

“Not sure if u guys realize it or not but you can hang out with ur friend and look happy and be having fun..there’s nothing wrong with that..”

We’ll take Miley and Cheyne’s word for it. For now…

The first photos of “Miami Zombie” attack victim Ronald Poppo were released with his permission earlier this week during a press conference at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where Poppo has been receiving treatment.

The 65-year-old has reportedly undergone multiple skin graft surgeries since he was first admitted on May 26th, and doctors say that he is awake, alert and doing “well,” but is in need of more surgery.

In one of the photos, Ronald Poppo is shown walking down a hallway, assisted on either side by a hospital worker. The other photo shows a more recent look at the man’s horrific injuries — one of his eyes is covered by gauze, and the other, which was lost as a result of the attack, is covered by skin (since his eyelids were chewed off).

Poppo’s nose is also noticeably missing, and his forehead is a mass of scabs. The lower half of of his face, roughly from the mustache down, appears to be in tact.

Doctors said that approximately 50% of his face was missing, and that the “extremely charming” Poppo remembers the attack, understands that he is in the hospital, and is also aware of the mass media coverage.

“It’s amazing,” University of Miami trauma surgeon Nicholas Namias said of Poppo. “He’s an extremely charming man. You talk to him, he’s very upbeat, he’s very pleasant, he hasn’t said one thing negative to me. Every time I ask him how he’s doing, he says he’s doing fine.”

According to AP reports, Poppo — who requests Italian food and can’t wait to go swimming — has asked that the TV in his room be turned off … unless his favorite team the Miami Heat is playing.

“I kid you not, he wanted to talk about the NBA Finals,” Namias said. “He asked me if I’d be watching the game tonight, and told me, ‘Go Heat.’”

Poppo will reportedly remain in the hospital for several more weeks as doctors continue to repair what’s left of his face.

The media has been using the term “Zombie Apocalypse” a lot this week, following multiple incidents — in different places — where people have reportedly eaten other people’s body parts.

But what exactly is a “zombie apocalypse,” why is it one of Google’s most searched terms (it’s been a Top 10 trending topic all week) … and do us non-zombies really have anything to worry about?

The Urban Dictionary defines a so-called zombie apocalypse as:

“The End of the World … when people who have died rise again in rotten corpses searching for blood and brains to strengthen them. The Apocalypse is when all Zombies rise and destroy the world.”

While we are almost positive that the dead are not rising, in the past week, there have been multiple reports of cannibalistic activities.

And in one of the incidents, an actual brain was eaten … so we can understand where the widespread panic would come from.

Last Saturday (May 26), 31-year-old Rudy Eugene stripped completely naked, pounced on top of another man, 65-year-old Ronald Poppo, and chewed off large chunks of flesh from Poppo’s face and head near a busy freeway in Miami.

Eugene was shot dead by police, and Poppo remains in critical condition with at least 80% of his face completely gone. Police believe Eugene may have been on “bath salts” when he viciously attacked Poppo. His girlfriend thinks he was either drugged, or under a voo-doo spell.

Then, just a few days after the Miami incident comes reports from Maryland, detailing an incident in which a 21-year-old Morgan University student named Alexander Kinyua admitted to killing his roommate (37-year-old Kujoe Bonsafo Agyei-Kodie), and using a knife to chop up his body parts before eating his heart and pieces of his brain.

Kodie — who lived with Kinyua and his family for about six weeks at their townhouse in a Baltimore suburb — had been missing since last Friday (May 25) after he left home for an early morning jog, and never came back.

The following Tuesday (May 29) was when Kinyua admitted his monstrous crime to police, after his father and brother called to report that they had discovered a set of human remains — a head and two hands — in a metal tin in their basement, which Kinyua originally tried to hide from them when they questioned him about it.

“He admitted to killing our missing person, Mr. Kodie, and cutting him up with a knife,” Hartford County Sheriff Jesse Bane told reporters Thursday. “He further stated that he consumed Mr. Kodie’s internal organs — specifically his heart and portions of his brain.”

In New Jersey, police say a man stabbed himself repeatedly in front of them, ripped his torso open, and then threw his skin and intestines at them.

43-year-old Wayne Carter underwent emergency surgery and remains in critical condition at a local hospital. Hackensack, New Jersey Police Lt. John Heinemann says Carter has a history of disorderly conduct, and has spent some time in a psychiatric hospital.

Then there’s the 26-year-old mixed martial arts fighter from California who is accused of ripping out the heart of his 21-year-old training partner while he was still alive, after becoming convinced that he was possessed by the devil.

Police say Jarrod Wyatt also cut out Taylor Powell‘s tongue, and ripped off most of his face in a brutal assault that they said looked like a scene straight out of a horror movie.

Wyatt was found naked, and covered in dried blood, standing over his dead friend with body parts — including an eyeball — scattered around the blood-splattered room.

According to an officer at the scene, Wyatt cooked Powell’s heart, tongue and parts of his face in a wood stove at his Klamath, California home, because he thought that Powell was still alive, and that he needed to “stop the devil.”

Police believe that Wyatt and Powell had both taken mushrooms before the horrific incident.

And that’s just here in the United States. As of Thursday (May 31), our friendly neighbors up in Canada are on an international manhunt for a man who is suspected of murdering and dismembering a friend, and mailing his body parts — a head, torso and a foot — to political party headquarters.

Canadian authorities say 29-year-old Luke Rocco Magnotta, who was born as Eric Clinton Newman, and also uses the alias Vladimir Romanov, posted a video of the killing and dismemberment online.

“We believe he filmed himself,” said Montreal police Commander Ian Lafreniere. “It’s gross.”

The victim has yet to be identified because the headless body that they discovered at Magnotta’s apartment — which was covered in blood — was too mutilated to make any immediate identification.

“I’ve been a police officer for more than 20 years now, and I met officers that were doing an investigation for more than 30 years, and they said they never saw a scene like that,” Lafreniere said.

Authorities believe Magnotta has fled the country, and may have gone to eastern Europe, though it is possible that he could have re-entered Canada under another name, because they say he’s really good at disguising himself.

With all of these gruesome, cannibalistic, inhumane incidents happening all in the same week, we can understand why everyone is in a frenzy … but officials at the CDC (Centers for Disease Control) say that the incidents shouldn’t be attributed to a “Zombie Apocalypse.”

BECAUSE ZOMBIES AREN’T FREAKING REAL, PEOPLE!!!!

“CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms),” agency spokesman David Daigle told The Huffington Post.

So to answer your questions … NO, there is NOT a Zombie Apocalypse … and NO, you should NOT be worried.

Just — with the exception of a little marijuana here and there — STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS and people who do them.

While zombies aren’t out to get you and eat your brain, if you know anyone who messes with “bath salts,” LSD, PCP, or even mushrooms (apparently), keep your distance.

Police in Miami believe that the naked homeless man who was shot and killed while he ate the face of another homeless man may have been high on a dangerous drug known as “bath salts.”

Miami police identified the cannibalistic attacker as 31-year-old Rudy Eugene. His victim — identified as 65-year-old Ronald Poppo — remains in critical condition in a Miami-area hospital after at least 75-80% of his face was chewed off.

Hospital staffers say Poppo is suffering from “some of the most horrific injuries” they have ever encountered, and he is completely unrecognizable after Eugene ate part of his nose, cheeks, ears and eyes.

The harrowing attack, which has shocked the world, took place Saturday afternoon (May 26) on a freeway bridge near Miami Beach.

According to police, Rudy Eugene, who they believe had come from a Memorial Day weekend beach party, stripped a sleeping Ronald Poppo naked, beat him, then proceeded to chew lumps of flesh from his face and head.

Eugene continued to eat the man’s face even after a Miami police officer shot him in the chest.

An eyewitness said that Eugene growled like an animal when officers told him to stop before they shot him half a dozen more times, killing him instantly.

Stomach-churning images of Ronald Poppo’s horrific injuries and the crime scene have gone viral.

The photos of the crime scene show a partially-clothed Poppo laying next to his fully nude attacker, and blood is everywhere.

Another set of photos, allegedly taken at the hospital, shows the extent of Poppo’s injuries, and the massive destruction done to his face and head. His facial features are non-existent, and all you can see is a bloody eye and a blood-soaked goatee.

The uncensored images are pretty gruesome, and aren’t for the faint of heart. (CLICK HERE to check them out — but you’ve been warned!)

Doctors, police and news reporters all theorize that Rudy Eugene was high on “bath salts,” a dangerous drug that mimics the effects of highly potent (and illegal) substances like cocaine, LSD and meth-amphetamines.

As Dr. Howard Mell, an emergency room physician from Ohio, noted to CBS News: “These are not the bath salts you buy at Victoria’s Secret … There’s not soap in them.”

Mell says that at least seven people — all under the age of 27 — have died in the two Cleveland-area hospitals where he works at as a result of using “bath salts,” which can cause severe agitation, rapid heart rate, high blood pressure and a number of other ailments.

The drug can also lead to the body overheating, which explains why Rudy Eugene stripped completely naked before his savage attack.

Users of the dangerous drug also experience hallucinations, lose touch with reality and can exhibit psychotic behavior, though calling Eugene’s behavior “psychotic” would be an understatement.

EMS workers who have responded to cases involving users who are high on “bath salts” say that they exhibit super-human strength and don’t respond to stun guns or tasers.

Several workers — and sometimes even burly police officers and/or security guards — are usually required to hold down a person who is high on “bath salts.”

“Addictive substances, whether they are bath salts, alcohol or other drugs, can have horrific and costly consequences. Sometimes these consequences can result from only one use; other times they are a result of the complex brain disease of addiction,” says Susan E. Foster, vice president and director of policy research and analysis at The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University.

“Together, risky use of addictive substances and addiction constitute our nation’s largest and most costly health problem. In the interest of health and public safety, Americans must begin to understand that substance use is a preventable public health problem and addiction is a treatable disease,” she added.

According to Jeffrey Scott, a spokesman for the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency, “bath salts” – the street name for the drug that is considered a replacement for cocaine or a synthetic form of the hallucinogen LSD — can be snorted, smoked, or broken down and injected.

Do you think “bath salts” can cause a man to strip completely naked … and EAT another man’s face off?

In what sounds like a scene straight out of one of those ridiculous zombie movies, a naked man was shot to death by Miami police over the weekend … while the guy was chewing another man’s face off. Unsurprisingly, police believe cocaine may have been involved.

According to confirmed reports from several media outlets, a police officer responding to reports of gunfire Saturday afternoon (May 26) found two men fighting — one of whom was naked, and literally chewing the face of the second man on a highway exit ramp, alongside the parking garage of The Miami Herald.

The officer then ordered the naked, cannibalistic man to back away, but he continued to chew the man’s face, so the officer shot him.

Despite him being shot, the naked cannibal continued to “eat” the victim’s face, so the officer shot him six more times, killing him instantly.

The other man wasn’t hit, but according to a CBS affiliate news station, police sources said the victim was unrecognizable and had “virtually no face” after the naked man had eaten it halfway off.

The second man was transported to a trauma center, and is said to have suffered critical injuries (obviously).

Miami police aren’t releasing any details about the incident, but investigators believe that the victim may have been homeless and laying down when the crazy naked man pounced on him and started chewing on his face.

Police also have a theory that the naked man was suffering from “cocaine psychosis,” which explains why he was naked … though there are no details that explain why he chewed half of the homeless man’s face off.

After finishing a workout, Kelly Rowland hit the beach in Miami, Florida last weekend.

The R&B singer — decked out in full workout gear and showing off her toned abs — was spotted hanging out with a few friends as they all enjoyed the sun and white sand.

Last week, Kelly confirmed reports that she would not be returning as a judge next season on the U.K. version of “The X Factor.”

“I loved the U.K. and being part of the show last year,” she said in a statement. “Mentoring the girls was such an incredible experience I will never forget. I would like to thank Simon for the great opportunity and asking me to be a judge last season.”

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were spotted holding hands while on a romantic outing in Miami’s South Beach over the recent Holiday weekend.

The 42-year-old cougar star and her much younger 24-year-old dancer boyfriend, both wearing shades and casual attire, were seen shopping for designer sunglasses at a store nearby.

After spending Thanksgiving together in Hawaii, the couple also reportedly spent Christmas AND New Year’s together while a nanny took care of Lopez’s 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

According to People Magazine, the pair, who first stepped out together last November, kicked off their “hot weekend” together on Thursday night when they went out to a high-tech nightclub called Amnesia, where the couple reportedly rocked special glasses to take in the club’s lighting effects.

“They were very sexy with each other, dancing and bouncing around and making out,” a source at the club told People, adding that the couple attracted a lot of attention, and didn’t leave until 3 a.m. “They couldn’t help but attract attention, although Jennifer was trying to lie low from onlookers.”

“Jennifer looked very happy. Although she kept to herself, there was no question she was really enjoying the club and her boyfriend,” said another on-looker.

When they woke up the next day, with Lopez’s 3-year-old twins in tow, the couple boarded a $10 million yacht owned by a friend.

“Jennifer and Casper held hands and had their arms around each other,” a source told People about their day-to-evening cruise. “The twins were having fun, and everyone seemed to get along.”

To ring in the New Year on Saturday night (Dec 31), a source revealed that the couple joined a group of friends for a private dinner at the Soho Beach House, and spent the entire weekend together at a private home.

“Jennifer wants to keep a low-profile and has been using sunglasses and a plain face with little or no makeup to go unrecognized,” a source in Miami said.

Getting the keys to the Bentley. Check. Spending the Holidays together in Miami. Check. Getting “sexy with each other” at the club, in front of people. Double check. Waking up the next day and boarding a friend’s $10 million yacht. Triple check!

Memorial Day weekend in Miami is known to get a little rowdy … but this is just ri-damn-diculous!

According to reports, a shooting spree erupted in Miami early this morning leaving one person dead and seven more injured. Three police officers were taken to the hospital after being injured in two separate shootings.

A shooting that took place around 4am at Collins and 15th Street was caught on camera and posted on youtube with the caption “South Beach is becoming a Ghetto Every Memorial Day weekend.” In the footage, gunfire erupts from a speeding Mercedes which hit several vehicles including a cop car. Officers eventually surrounded the car and exchanged gun fire with the men inside which resulted in the death of the driver and two police officers being injured.
