The man charged with brutally murdering his wife and stuffing her mutilated body into a suitcase was found dead Sunday morning (Aug 23) from an apparent suicide in his hotel room in Hope, British Columbia (Canada). 32-year-old Ryan Jenkins was found hanging from a belt in his room at the Thunderbird Motel after a hotel manager decided to check on the room, which had been rented just three days prior.

According to police, Jenkins was assisted by a woman police have identified but haven’t yet released her name. She apparently helped the former reality show contestant check into the motel he later killed himself in. The motel manager says Jenkins stayed in the vehicle while the woman checked them in on Thursday (Aug 20). The woman is not in custody yet.

Jenkins was a contestant on two VH1 reality shows: “Megan Wants a Millionaire” and “I Love Money 3.” MWAM was ended before the winner, who was believed to be Jenkins, was announced and ILM3 will never be aired.

TMZ is reporting that Ryan Jenkins, a former contestant on VH1′s “Megan Wants a Millionaire” reality series, was arrested at an airport in Toronto, Canada. Jenkins was charged with the murder of his wife, Jasmine Fiore Thursday (Aug 20), which is 5 days after the super model’s mutilated body was found stuffed into a briefcase.

According to reports, Jenkins strangled and beat Flore before stuffing her naked body into a suitcase and placing it inside a dumpster in the Buena Park area of Southern California on the morning of August 15th 2009. Police also say her teeth and fingers had been removed in an obvious effort to evade investigators attempting to identify the remains. Investigators ended up identifying Fiore, who was last seen alive with Jenkins in San Diego, by using the serial numbers from her breast implants.

Ryan and Jasmine checked into the Lauberge Del Mar hotel last Friday night (Aug 14). Investigators say Jenkins left the hotel that following Saturday morning (Aug 15) with a grey suitcase, and later that day Ryan Jenkins reported her missing. Fiore hasn’t been seen alive since.

Upon hearing the news, VH1 halted all future airings of Megan Hauserman’s show, “Megan Wants a Millionaire,” where 32-year-old Ryan Jenkins was originally a contestant and supposed overall winner of the show, though VH1 hasn’t yet confirmed who actually won. But there are rumors floating around saying Ryan told his friends he won $250,000 after being chosen as the winner. So VH1 decided it’d be best to pull the plug on the show as it would put them in a very bad position to continue to air it in light of the charges recently brought against him. They’ve even removed the show completely from VH1.com.

Remember when we heard about Sharon Osbourne jumping on “Rock of Love: Charm School” contestant Megan Hauserman for talking out the side of her neck about Ozzy?

Megan Hauserman claims Sharon went ballistic during a taping, punching and grabbing her by the hair and refusing to let go, and scratching her to boot. Osbourne opened the can of whoop ass after Megan told Sharon she was famous only because she managed a brain dead rock star. In a lawsuit filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Hauserman is suing Osbourne for battery, negligence and infliction of emotional distress.

SHARON OSBOURNE BEING INVESTIGATED BY THE LAPD » The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating an incident that happened this past Sunday (Dec. 14th), reportedly involving Charm School: Rock of Love host Sharon Osbourne and contestant Megan Hauserman, during the recording of the VH1 reality series’ finale show.

Allegedly, words were exchanged between both Sharon and Megan, and when Megan told Sharon that she’s “only famous for managing a brain dead rock star,” all hell broke loose, according to TMZ. Sharon then lunged at Megan, scratching and pulling her hair, so much that Megan had to be taken to a hospital. TMZ cameras caught her leaving the ER with a sling on her left arm and plugs of hair missing from her head.

We hear Megan is pressing charges, but so far, none have been filed yet. Calls to VH1 and Sharon’s people were not immediately returned. The moral of the story is … don’t f**k with the Osbournes!!

CHRIS ROCK’S DAUGHTERS WANT A PLAY DATE WITH THE OBAMA GIRLS » Comedian/actor Chris Rock recently spoke to People and told them that his daughters want to be friends with Malia and Sasha Obama, President-Elect Barack Obama‘s daughters.

“His girls are a little older than mine,” said Rock about President-elect Barack Obama’s daughters Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7. “My girls want a playdate. They look at the youngest and they’re like, ‘We can play with her, Daddy.’ We’ll see.”

Chris Rock’s daughters, Lola and Zahra, are 6 and 4 years old, respectively.

MOS DEF’S LAWYERS WANT THEIR MONEY » It’s been reported that rapper Mos Def is apparently in hot water with his divorce attorneys. Why? Because he has yet to pay them for their services. According to reports published by celebrity website Star Pulse, attorneys from the Blank Rome legal firm claim that the actor/rapper owes them over $60,000 in unpaid legal fees after they helped him with the divorce of his wife, Maria Yepes, in 2006. So now the firm is suing him to collect their money.

In addition to being sued by his own lawyers, Mos Def is also in a legal battle with a photographer. He’s currently facing charges of felony robbery and malicious destruction of private property after fashion photographer Volker Correll alleged he ripped a camera from his neck and smashed it to the ground, Kanye West style, during a confrontation in Vegas this past August.

But despite all of that, Mos Def is looking forward to his fourth album’s release, Ecstatic, due in April 2009.
