Taylor Armstrong continues to explain intimate details regarding her husband’s suicide. Usher is being accused of ripping off someone else’s song. Maggie Gyllenhaal says she lends vibrators to her friends. ….. What?! Yeah, Thursday morning gossip will have you asking that question a lot.

• No offense, but … Russell Armstrong committed suicide well over a month ago, yet his wife Taylor Armstrong is still making media rounds as if it happened yesterday. Read what she told ET in a recent interview: “I’m sure a lot of people won’t understand this, but I asked the emergency workers if I could go in and hug him before they took him away, but they wouldn’t let me,” Taylor says, wiping away tears. “I just felt like I needed to see him one last time, but they wouldn’t let me.” She even goes on to explain how she broke the sad news to her 5-year-old daughter. She basically lied, and nothing is wrong with that. The kid is 5. It’s hard to tell a 5-year-old ‘Daddy killed himself.’ But still, why is she telling the whole world all of these personal and very private details about something so personal … and private??? • Some non-famous guy is accusing Usher of stealing a song from him. After a quick listen to that non-famous guy’s song, we hear NO similarities. None. Not even one. But still, that really un-famous guy got a judge to approve his case and is suing Usher!Imagine that. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their 2011 induction nominees and among the list is rapper LL Cool J and legendary Hip-Hop group the Beastie Boys. Both Def Jam pioneers were nominated last year, but lost their spot on the ballot as official inductees.

Other nominees on the list for next year are: Bon Jovi, Neil Diamond, Donna Summer, Alice Cooper and more. The inductees will be announced in December and the 26th annual Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held in March 2011 at the Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan.

The music video for “We Are the World: 25 for Haiti” debuted Friday night (Feb 12) during the opening ceremony for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

This version of the song, featuring vocals from Justin Bieber, Jennifer Hudson, Lil Wayne, Janet Jackson, Miley Cyrus, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Kanye West, T-Pain, Usher, Wyclef Jean and much more, is much more contemporary than the original but it fits today’s music era. The song’s original writer and singer Michael Jackson also appears in the song and video (his sister Janet sings the first chorus with footage of Mike thrown in). They also kept one of MJ’s original parts and show footage of him singing it (Nice!).

The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.

In an effort to raise money for Haitian earthquake relief, a gang of singers, rappers, producers, musicians and other celebrities showed up at Jim Henson Studios yesterday (Mon. Feb 1) in Hollywood to record “We Are the World 25 Years for Haiti,” a remake of Michael Jackson‘s famous “We Are the World” song, which raised at least $30 million for African humanitarian programs 25 years ago.

Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie came together and rounded up folks like Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Jennifer Hudson, Wyclef Jean, Jamie Foxx, Justin Bieber, LL Cool J, Usher, Keri Hilson, Brandy and a ton of other celebrities to lay down vocals and instrumentals for the charity single.

Over 83 million people tuned in last Friday night (Jan 22) to catch the Hope for Haiti Now telethon, which aired live and commercial-free on several major networks and was also streamed real-time online. The effort was spearheaded by MTV Networks, actor George Clooney and rapper/singer Wyclef Jean (who is from Haiti himself) in an effort to raise awareness and relief for the troubled country of Haiti, who suffered a massive earthquake earlier this month. According to recent numbers, over $61 million in pledges were made by members of the general public. Organizers will continue to take contributions for the next six months.

Celebrities who helped out by either performing or taking phone calls from pledges (or both) included Jay-Z, Rihanna, Bono from U2, Taylor Swift, Denzel Washington, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and tons more. Rapper LL Cool J hosted the 2010 Live Grammy Nominations concert Wednesday night (Dec 2) at Club Nokia in Los Angeles. The event was televised live on CBS, the same network responsible for airing the 2010 Grammys on January 31st.

Tonight was CBS’s primer for the first award show of the 2010 season. The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will air on January 31st at the Staples Center. It was pretty obvious from the start that CBS just needed to fill an hour and must be sponsors of The Black Eyed Peas. The pop group co-hosted. LL Cool J started things off with a great rap, then BEP took over with “I Gotta Feeling” (which we got to hear in the background throughout the concert).

British pop star Leona Lewis already has a reputation for being a good girl, but now she says she’s not only a good girl … she’s a “good diva.” And she’s not going around spending unnecessary money unlike her celebrity counterparts.

“The term ‘diva’ has such a negative connotation, but I see myself as a kind of good diva. I’m a next-door diva,” she said in the latest issue of Petra magazine.

Leona says she doesn’t make crazy demands and insists that she’s very frugal, unlike most pop stars in the industry. And her biggest purchases so far have been her house and her two cost-efficient environmentally friendly whips.

“The biggest things I’ve bought are a house and my two cars. One of the cars is a Mini Cooper. But in Los Angeles I always drive a Hybrid Toyota Prius which is very environmentally friendly.”

With earphones in his ear, Todd Smith, most known as LL Cool J (Ladies Love Cool James) was spotted grabbing a cup of coffee in between filming scenes for his television show NCIS: LA in Los Angeles Wednesday afternoon (Nov 4).

Since his debut album in 1985 under Def Jam Records, LL has had a steady career in music and acting, and has even written a few books and opened a few business in between. Exit 13 was the rapper’s final album release under Def Jam, the only label he has ever been signed to. But these days Mr. Smith is moreso focused on his acting career than anything else.

Well known philanthropist and television personality Oprah Winfrey helped her friend Cicely Tyson open her brand new school, “The Cicely L. Tyson Community School of Performing & Fine Arts,” Saturday evening (Oct 24) in East Orange, NJ.

Actor LL Cool J attended the Monte Carlo Television Festival cocktail party, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel Saturday evening (Oct 24) in Beverly Hills, California.

TV personalities Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian posed for pics together on the Red Carpet at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards, held Sunday evening in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theater. Apparently their arrival as a duo was changed at the last minute due to a wardrobe malfunction Kim experienced prior to stepping out on the red carpet. She said didn’t get to make her “live hit” with sister Kourtney because of a problem with her zipper but was able to make it to the show on time and called it “an amazing experience.”

Writing on her official blog, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admitted that a zipper on her white dress by Ina Soltani broke while she was en route to the ceremony.

“I had a major fashion emergency… My entire zipper ripped! It just popped!” she explained. “I freaked out and called my stylist Monica who was at the Emmys waiting for me with a needle and thread to sew up my entire dress! ”

It later came to light that Williams had been arrested on the morning of the show. Sound familiar, anyone? *Cough* T.I. *cough* got arrested *cough* last year *cough* and he was *cough* supposed to perform. I’m just saying…

The 2008 Video Music Awards aired Sunday night and yours truly is here to bring you the 411 on all of the hottest (and not so hot) styles worn at the show! There were many hot styles worn to the show, but first and foremost, I gotta show some love to the men, because if you take out the select few that I will talk about later on in the post, just about every guy was dressed to impress! Some of the best dressed male celebs of the night were Ludacris, Ne-Yo, LL Cool J, T.I, John Legend, and Chris Brown. Ludacris looked like Mr. Urban High Fashion wearing Gucci from head to toe (tie included), Ne-Yo also looked good rocking Gucci from head to toe, LL Cool J lost the bedazzled tee’s and kept it simple yet classy in Gucci, John Legend really gave an edge to the classic white button up, black tie, and pants look by adding a fly white leather jacket, and Chris Brown decided not to wear his favorite red carpet designer and opted for a Louis Vuitton Jacket, Cassett Jeans, and Dior kicks. I was hoping that the ladies would represent after seeing how fly most of the guys looked but, they didn’t. Some looks that did catch my eyes were from Ciara (minus the hair), Vanessa Simmons, Angela Simmons, and Britney Spears. Ciara wore Christian Louboutin pumps with a silver D&G dress and a very cute Jimmy Choo Tube Clutch, the hair was a little out there but other than that her outfit was very cute! Vanessa Simmons wore wore a beautiful black and red checkerboard dress and Angela Simmons looked fashion forward in her dress matched with hot pink Versace platforms. Brittaney Spears looked fab in a Vintage Atelier Versace dress and Jimmy Choo heels.

Some more looks I thought were cute came from Jordin Sparks, Pink, Rihanna (not the shoes), and Solange. Jordin Sparks looked very cute in a Betsey Johnson Evening Sequin Café de Paris Dress with Sergio Rossi Heels. I fell in love with her Pantera gold feather ear cuff! I thought Pink’s red and black Alexis LaMontange dress fit her style perfectly, the same with Solange. I think if anyone else would have tried to rock her Moshino dress, it just would not have been the same! The dress is very different and because she is know as being the “different” Knowls sister … it fits her. Rihanna rock’d the red carpet as usual wearing a Peter Pilotto Skirt, Patricia Field Bustier, and T-Strap Cesare Paciotti pumps.

Now it’s time for my worst dressed picks! Keri Hilson, David Banner, T-Pain, Fat Man Scoop, Lil Wayne, and Lupe Fiasco are all on the top of my “What in the hell were you thinking list!” Keri Hilson’s outfit went totally wrong when she paired a royal blue Opening Ceremony Dress with Gucci Babouska studded Boots, but im sure your not surprised. For some reason Keri always finds herself on the worst dress lists for red carpets. I’m not sure what designer David Banner was wearing, but the “nerdy prep” look defiantly does not work for him. The color choice also didn’t compliment his complexion. I have no words for Lupe and Wayne, I just wouldn’t know where to begin. Although T-Pain did look a hot mess, this was actually an upgrade compared to his past red carpet disasters.

Last but not least we have Fat Man Scoop whose wife looked great, but he opted to rock boxers and an undershirt. I know he was probably attempting to plug his TV show but you just don’t wear pajamas to an award show, that’s just … tacky. What do you guys think? Who are your picks for best and worst dressed?

1/5 of the Jackson 5 – Jermaine Jackson – and his wife were scoped out by the paparazzi earlier today as they spend some QT together in St. Tropez. It is rumored that Jermaine and his brothers will reunite next month in LA where they will be honored with a lifetime achievement award at the BMI Awards. The group will not perform, but a star-studded collection of music acts will pay tribute to the band with a medley of their greatest hits. All but Michael have confirmed their attendance. Oh, and speaking of the Jacksons, word on the sidewalk is that Tito is being sued!

Mel B and her big-headed husband Stephen Belefonte were spotted horse-playing in the streets of Los Angeles as they left STK Restaurant in West Hollywood Friday night. It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt! Lol

Comedic actor Jamie Foxx was spotted surfing in Hawaii the other day with a rather strangely embroidered surf-board. And judging by the looks of the size of that gut of his, which is covered by that black wife-beater, the homie has been taking a break from the gym! Who wears wife-beaters to the beach anyway?

Singer Kelly Rowland was recently spotted in St. Tropez (last Wednesday to be exact) hanging out with some friends on a yacht.
