Floyd Mayweather Jr. was supposed to turn himself in Friday (Jan 6) to begin his 90-day jail sentence on charges stemming from an assault on his ex girlfriend/baby mama. However a judge has agreed to postpone to the pro boxer’s jail sentence so that he can train for a May 5th fight against a currently unnamed opponent.

The Associated Press reported yesterday that several of Floyd’s famous friends — including “#MoneyTeam” members Ray J and Lil Kim — were at the court house to support the boxer.

Sources close to Lil Kim told TMZ that she and Floyd “have become really close friends,” and Kim has put her career on hold, canceling recent New Year’s Eve appearances and pushing her holiday album’s release back, just so that she could be there for Mayweather while he awaits his sentence.

“Money Mayweather” now has until June 1st to turn himself in, thanks to Justice of the Peace Melissa Saragosa ruling, which came after Mayweather’s defense lawyer cited the economic boost that Las Vegas could get from the Cinco de Mayo fight, AP reported.

The lawyer estimated that Mayweather’s last seven fights in Las Vegas brought in at least $1 billion in gross revenue to the community. He predicts that the May 5th fight will bring in over $100 million.

It was rumored that Floyd Mayweather would finally use May 5th as a chance to fight his archenemy Manny Pacquiao, the wildly popular 33-year-old boxer who is considered to best in the world, next to Mayweather of course.

However Pacquio’s promoter Bob Arum has reportedly shot those rumors down, saying that there have been no recent discussions to stage a fight between Mayweather and Pacquio.

Meanwhile, Mayweather’s manager Leonard Ellerbe told news reporters that his opponent’s would be announced as early as next week.

“We’ll make an announcement about who we’re going to fight next week. We just came out of the … court hearing. Give us a chance to catch our breath,” Ellerbe said.

R&B star Mary J. Blige refuses to take sides in this whole “Lil Kim vs. Nicki Minaj” beef. In fact….Mary J. wants the rap ladies to squash their beef, which she believes is being fueled by their respective crews.

“Kim is my friend and I love and respect Nicki,” Blige said in an interview with Chicago radio station WGCI. “I got to know the young lady and she’s a sweetheart. … It’s the crews [fueling it.] It’s the people behind the whole thing. Maybe one day it will happen. I’m hoping. We just all got to think positive. Everyone is just thinking so negative about it and everyone is in it, but if a bunch of people would say, ‘Yo, stop this and let’s help these girls do something together or to see the light.’”

Rap star Lil Kim recently celebrated the opening of Salon Se Swa, her latest hair salon in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Lil Kim launched the newest 3,600 square-foot salon with business partner Katrise Jones, making the business the fifth salon location the rap star owns in North Carolina.

“This new location allows us to cater to a larger customer base and better serve the needs of not only Charlotte, but also its surrounding areas” Salon Se Swa owner Katrise Jones told AllHipHop.com. “We are extremely excited about our upcoming Customer Appreciation Day. Our clientele is vital to the success of our blossoming business. They appreciate the high end services that we provide and we in turn appreciate the, returning for a few hours each week, as they get dolled up and pampered.”

Lil Kim partnered with Katrise Jones in September of 2011 to become co-owner of the Salon Se Swa salon, which was established in 1999.

The pair have been expanding their brand ever since.

While Kim and Katrise already own locations in Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Rocky Mount North Carolina, the pair are planning to turn the salon into the next big franchise.

Your thoughts on this hot ass mess of a track?

Former collaborators 50 Cent and Lil Kim linked up earlier this week to perform their 2003 hit single “Magic Stick” at the Winterbeatz Music Festival in Melbourne, Australia.

Though largely unconfirmed, recent reports suggested that the pint-size rapper had inked a deal with 50 Cent’s G-Unit records. But acording to UMG’s new roster, Lil Kim is now an artist under Universal Music Group.

Other acts who performed Wednesday night (Aug 17) at the Winterbeatz festival in Australia were rapper Fabolous and R&B singer Mario. Check out a few pics below:

But it now it looks like Kim has finally found a home and has officially signed with Universal Music Group, as noted by her appearance on the roster on the label’s official website.

An A&R for the label named Jaywan also confirmed the news via Twitter:

“Just signed @LilKim to a deal here at Universal. Welcome to the team mama! Looking forwaed to working with you and your team #Congrats.”

Kim has already reportedly started on a new album under her new label due for release later this year, which will include the not-yet-released single “Looks Like Money.”

Sidenote: Universal heads Cash Money, which is over Young Money, which just so happens to be home to … you know who.

While something like this is pretty inevitable given that there are only a handful of major labels out there, the fact that Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj are going to be under the same parent company is going to bring about some interesting developments!

It’s a big momma thang, and apparently Biggie’s mom won’t clear the sample on Monica’s new single “Anything (To Find You).” The track which features Rick Ross, Missy Elliot and Lil Kim contains samples from the Notorious B.I.G.’s 1995 track “Who Shot Ya” and according to Monica’s Twitter Ms. Wallace cleared the sample, but denied Kim’s contribution.

“I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that @LilKim was removed. She’s our friend, a legend & @LilKim will get the respect she deserves at all cost. The clearance was revoked & I’m fighting to get it reinstated by the Biggie Estate.” the R&B singer wrote on Thursday (July 14).

“I am as through as they come and I LOVE @LilKim bottom line is Ms Wallace has the final say and she said No. If we put it out we get SUED,” she added.

BET Awards who? That’s exactly what the self-proclaimed Queen Bee aka Lil Kim must have been saying Sunday (Jun 26) when she snubbed the this year’s Black Entertainment Television Awards.

While the majority of Black entertainment figures were in L.A. attending the 2011 BET Awards, Lil Kim was in NYC at the Gay Pride Parade.

With some of her classic hip-hop anthems blaring from an Asian themed float Kim, donning hit pink killer heels, was celebrating the recently passed same-sex marriage law that had been passed in the city earlier that week.

“Thank you Pride nyc!!! My G bf’s & gf’s are the best,” Kim told her fans while performing at Latin Quarters nightclub later that evening.

Over the weekend, Shawty Lo brought Lil Kim out on stage during Hot 107.9′s Birthday Bash and after she performed “It’s All About the Benjamins,” the Queen Bee made an announcement that left many to believe she might be joining the gang as well.

Former female Ruff Ryder Eve wants somebody to knock some sense into Lil Kim‘s noggin.

In a interview with Tim Westwood, Eve gave her opinion on the ongoing feud between the Queen Bee and Nicki Minaj.

I need her to stop. If I was Kim’s friend, I’d be like, yo. Because she’s Kim, period, So she never has to feed. She shouldn’t. It’s bad. It’s not a good look. If I was her friend, I’d tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better. The best way to get at people is to do you better than you’ve ever done you. So that’s it…I love it. You know, it’s definitely a nice group of females that’s out representing, but because I come from hip-hop, I need more females in hip-hop.

Nicki definitely is holding the flag down, and a lot of people be wanting me to hate just because that’s how girls supposed to do in hip-hop, but I’m loving everything she does. But we need more females, man. There’s too much testosterone in the hip-hop game.

Now that your mixtape Black Friday is out, when are we going to get the next studio album?
I’m always working. You’re gonna always hear music from me. I can honestly say I’m so proud of the body of work that I’ve been producing. It’s a new sound for me, something that I think my fans are gonna love and I’m excited about the new direction. I’m basically always working. You’re gonna always hear music from me, but you’re gonna have that coming right after [the mixtape]. We got some surprises and some treats.

Do you have an album title yet?
I have a few, but I really don’t want to mention them now.

Is it going to be more like the Hard Core days or will we see the pop side of Kim?
You’re gonna get a mixture. There’s no way to just go straight Hard Core. I’m not one of those artists that say, “OK, I’m in a Hard Core mood, so everything’s gonna be Hard Core.” I’m not one of those artists. I don’t live my life like that. I don’t wake up every day and feel that same feeling. I live by the nature really. There are artists who will take a certain concept and go with that concept through the whole album; I’m not like that. I’m an artist who likes for everything to be universal.

Which producers are you working with?
Well, just so you know, I’m on Dr. Dre’s Detox album and I can’t wait, wait, wait, wait for that. The song is freakin’ phenomenal. It’s definitely something that my Hard Core fans are going to love, love, love, love, love. In return he’s doing a song for me on my album. I got Timbaland. I’m not the type of person where every name has to be a big name. I just have a really wonderful relationship with Timbaland and a wonderful relationship with Dr. Dre, so I’m lucky to have them as in-house producers. I also have up-and-coming producers, who people are going to get to know through my music. They’re not even out there like that.

There were reports that you were signing with Roc Nation…
I did get offers from representatives from Roc Nation and I did get phone calls from representatives from Roc Nation. A couple representatives from Def Jam had also reached out to me. I think they’re both amazing companies and I think it would’ve been brilliant for me and Jay to collaborate and team up together. However it just didn’t pan out like that. Not to say that something with me and Jay can’t happen in the future, but I doubt if Jay-Z or Roc Nation will be a part of my upcoming album. He and I are really good friends. We both were excited about the idea of us collaborating and maybe me signing with Roc Nation. I think Jay-Z is letting me be Kim at this moment. I think he feels that I deserve to be Kim and also to have everything that… It’s hard for record companies to sign females these days and give them exactly what they want and need. I understand that. It’s a different world out there.

Have you signed a new record deal or are you in the process of doing that?
I have a lot of situations on the table and I have a lot of situations in effect. For the most part, I’m very independent right now. All the situations that I have on the table, whatever the situation is, it’s going to be a partnership.

You previously mentioned a potential collaboration with Rihanna. Did anything happen?
Well, I mentioned I would love to collaborate with her. She’s my favorite pop artist right now. I think she’s just phenomenal. I feel like collaborations with people happen naturally. But I do have three people on my radar that I wanna work with so bad, but I’m not gonna tell you who they are. You know why I’m not gonna tell you? Because there were two people that I wanted to work with that [Nicki Minaj] ended up working with and I feel like it’ll just jinx it when you say it out loud. People hear you and they wanna do the same thing you do. I know that this collaboration is gonna happen. I feel it. I see it happening.

As a hip-hop veteran, who are you feeling these days?
I almost listen to everyone’s music. I’m really loving Wiz Khalifa. I like him a lot. I think he’s a dope artist. And also another up-and-coming artist, his name is Big Sean. I think he’s hot. There’s a lot of pop artists I love. I love rock ‘n’ roll music. I love all types of music. Usher, I’m loving him again. Not to say I stopped loving him, but at one point I didn’t understand the direction his music was going in, but I am in love with everything he’s doing now.

What do you think of Lady Gaga’s new single “Born This Way”?
I love Lady Gaga. Anything she does, I love. Even if it’s not my favorite Lady Gaga record—she’s just phenomenal. She is so cute.

Some people have compared her to you, saying she’s taken a page from your book at times.
I see that. I can see some of my influences too, but you know what I love about it? She just made it her own. She went in a direction that is her own. I would never try to go in that direction. She went in a direction where I love to watch her.

Maybe one day we’ll see a Kim and Gaga collaboration?
[Laughs] She’s wonderful. She’s definitely wonderful.

Any other projects coming out that you’re excited about?
Well, I have a book deal that’s been in the works for a long time. We’re finally starting the process of getting it out. It won’t come out around the same time as my album, but a little bit after my album comes out. I’m excited about that book. The name of the book is The Price of Loyalty. I have a book deal with St. Martin’s Press and I cannot wait for this book to come out because it’s solely about my stay in prison and a lot of the wonderful, beautiful girls that I met in prison. It’s some of their stories mixed with my stories mixed with the whole prison situation, and even how it came to be for me. It’s gonna be an interesting book. I do have some other things that I’m excited about, some endorsement situations.

I just want to thank all my fans for making Black Friday so successful. I love seeing my fans smile and cry tears of joy because everywhere I go they’re just freaking so supportive. I want to thank them right now and just let everybody know that they can find me on Twitter @LilKim.

Lil Kim isn’t worried about those of us who are pointing and laughing at her claims that she sold 113,000 copies of her Black Friday mixtape. In an interview with our friends over at Rap-Up, the Queen Bee responded to all of her so called “haters.”

Rap-Up: You tweeted that you sold 113,000 copies of Black Friday within 28 hours. Is that accurate?
Lil Kim: Right now it could be more.

What do you say to those who question the authenticity of those figures?
At the end of the day, you’re always going to have your haters. We need the haters. There was actually a representative at PayPal who basically didn’t really confirm or deny it, but also [said] that they’re very happy and proud of the success of Lil’ Kim. I think numbers in other areas speak for themselves. I mean, why aren’t they questioning the Black Friday [video] being at 2.5 [million views] in less than 18 hours? Why aren’t they questioning that? What’s the difference? How can you add up one thing and not the other? I just feel like people pick and choose the area that they want to attack [laughs].

Do you know the current sales numbers?
No, I actually don’t know right now. I have a team that kinda checks up on all that. We’ll keep you posted.

Nicki Minaj laughed off your sales claims. Did you see that?
I heard about it. I didn’t see it actually for myself, but to be honest with you, homegirl is basically obsolete to me right now. She’s doing a lot of lame stuff. She’s so lame to me right now—she’s always been, but now really. At the end of the day, her sales can be questioned also. Not to say she didn’t have the build-up, but the only thing you kept hearing before her album dropped was nobody liked it, it was wack. Don’t get me wrong, she might have a couple songs that are OK, but who cares. The haters will be haters, that’s their job, and we need them.

Rapper Lil Kim was at Club QUO in New York City over the weekend (Fri. Jan 14) to perform at their weekly gay event “Rockit.”

The “Queen Bee” had fun taking pictures with some fans dressed in drag and…we couldn’t help but notice how tight those purple pants were hugging on Kim’s “goodies.” They, uh, gave her shape and other things a lot of definition. (LOL!!)

Over the weekend at a New Year’s Eve concert, Lil Kim duped us all into believing she was planning on working with Mary J. Blige on a diss record that would go after Nicki Minaj and Keyshia Cole in response to their “I Ain’t Thru” collaboration. But now, just days later, it seems like the pint-sized rapper has had a change of heart, and will NOT be doing a diss track with MJB afterall.

Yesterday, Lil Kim’s camp issued the following statement:

Contrary to circulating reports, Hip-hop Icon Lil’ Kim will not be releasing a diss record with Mary J. Blige. Rumors began circulating after a live videostream of Lil’ Kim’s New Years’ Eve performance re-aired show footage. Lil Kim is still going after Nicki Minaj. The pint-sized rapper continued her going beef with the Young Money femcee at a recent a concert in Massachusetts on New Year’s Eve and unleashed a nasty attack against her and apparently Keyshia Cole too! She even tossed around Mary J. Blige’s name for whatever reason.

Nicki Minaj has a feature in the latest issue of T Magazine. Inside the pages of the mag, the Young Money rapper talks about her gay alter-ego Roman, her personal style when she’s not rocking one of those crazy outfits, and, of course, her ongoing feud with her old and bitter rap nemesis Lil Kim, who she says can be a “nasty character.”

T Magazine: This is quite the month for my favorite femcee. You have the new CD, a new MTV documentary and a new lipstick for MAC. If you’re not careful, you’re going to end up turning into Oprah and ruling the world.
Nicki Minaj: Yes! I hope so. I love me some Oprah. It’s the beginning stage but I never imagined in a million years that this would be happening. It’s quite surreal.

T Magazine: Are you happy with your first CD?
Nicki Minaj: Of course! It’s amazing. Honestly, sometimes I get tired of some of the songs because they have been with me for so long but overall I never imagined that it would be something that I would cherish so much and be so proud of. Obviously, I’ve done mix tapes before but having the album out feels like I am finally a real artist, like I have the stamp of approval as an artist from myself.

T Magazine: You’re ready to be the superhero and not just the sidekick?
Nicki Minaj:Exactly. That’s why in “Roman’s Revenge,” the song I do with Eminem, I say “I am not Jasmine, I’m Aladdin.” It’s time for the girl to be the main character, you know?

T Magazine: Well, you’ve always been a superhero to me and part of your weaponry has always been your makeup. It’s fitting that you now have your own lipstick.
Nicki Minaj: Isn’t it cool? Anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m inspired by color and everyone knows I love pink. Actually, when I was first doing shoots people would always ask me to change my color of lipstick. Normally people wear different lipsticks, but pink is my thing and to change it would be like me changing my name when I walk out of the door.

T Magazine: A lot is made about your costumery, but tell me a bit about your personal style.
Nicki Minaj: When I’m just at home or in the studio, I’d rather be chill. I like to dress down on my personal time but when it’s time to go out it’s on. I do like a pop of color.

T Magazine: And I know you have been vocal in saying that it’s not all sex all the time, but you always wear body-con stuff.
Nicki Minaj: Yeah, but to me it’s less about wearing the tightest thing than wearing what makes me feel confident. Sometimes if something is too tight I’m not confident, I’m like, Don’t look!

T Magazine: I saw your documentary, “My Time Now,” and I have to say that parts of it, like when you cry talking about your grandmother’s passing, are heartbreaking. How hard is it to open up like that and talk about things like your dad doing crack?
It’s very hard and to be honest, he kind of caught me off guard when he asked me about my grandmother. I wasn’t prepared to answer that question. But that’s when you get the raw emotion and if being open about the things that have happened in my life inspires someone then it’s cool with me. I’ve done my part.

T Magazine: I thought it was also very important to show you in the studio, producing, writing on the fly, showing yourself as a creative person.
Nicki Minaj: Well, it’s hard to be a female rapper but it’s more tough being credited with the work that you put in as a female rapper because people assume that you’re not the brains behind the operation or that you’re not the one doing writing these lyrics. So letting people come into my world and see that I am doing these things is good for all girls.

T Magazine: That brings up an interesting point because I would be pretty remiss not to mention your spat with Lil’ Kim. When she badmouths you and others doesn’t that just make it even harder for female rappers?
Nicki Minaj: It does, it does. But the thing that I want to promote is that if you see someone doing their thing, give them their props. We all have it hard and face the same challenges as female emcees. Show some mutual love and respect for each other so that it doesn’t get nasty. And she can be a nasty character.

Speaking of characters, I wasn’t sure which of your alter egos would show up today. I was hoping for Roman.
Nicki Minaj: [Nicki Minaj laughs and puts on a thick English accent.] Sometimes if it’s really early in the morning, Roman gets cranky and doesn’t want to get out of bed. Roman is lazy, you know, he wants to stay out all night and not wake up so I send Nicki out into the world. Roman has to be conjured up and now you’ve conjured him.

You’ve said that Roman is a sister. Please tell me he helps out with your hair and makeup.
Nicki Minaj: Of course. Roman is leading the way when it comes to makeup and hair. He’s gay!

The Queen Bee released a diss track over the Thanksgiving holiday titled “Black Friday“ …….and if we must say, she’s still got it! But Nicki isn’t the only one she calls out……Drake and Diddy get hit by the wrath as well. Pow!

Lil Kim has fired shots at Nicki Minaj again! This time around it appears that Nicki’s new track “Roman’s Revenge” featuring Eminem did the trick. Kim performed in Minaj’s hometown of Queens last night and had a few not-so-friendly words to say about the Young Money rapper. Peep what she said below…

“I will erase this b!tch’s social security number, first of all I don’t even need a record right now and I’d kill that b!tch with my old sh!t. My records ain’t just enter the charts, they made history. WTF is this bullsh!t, this sh!t come and go.”

Lil Kim should really give it up……or do like MC Hammer and bring out the diss songs/videos!

Rapper Lil Kim shows off her “O-Face” in a newly reelased promotional ad for Three Olives Vodka‘s new grape-flavoured liquor!

The Legendary femcee has reportedly teamed up with Three Olives to launch a new grape-flavoured liquor with the vodka company called “Three-O Purple.” Kim is their first celebrity endorser and had this to say about being the face of a new brand of liquor:

“Since I’m Queen Bee and purple is the color of royalty, I’m thrilled Three Olives has asked me to bring my flavor to the sexy ‘O-Face’ campaign for their new Purple vodka!”

Three-O Vodka describes Lil Kim’s liquor as “fun, sassy and sexy as the Queen Bee herself” and says that it’s a dynamic blend of imported English Vodka and juicy, frozen, crushed grapes.

Elwyn Gladstone, VP of Marketing for Proximo Spirits, spoke on the company’s excitement to have Lil Kim on board:

“A perfect match for our latest flavor, Lil’ Kim is the personification of the sassy, fun and confident brand that Three-O strives to embody. We are so delighted to welcome Kim to the Three-O family, and look forward to introducing Three-O Purple to her dedicated fan base.”

Three Olives also has other flavors in addition to Purple, including Vanilla, Chocolate, Root Beer, Cherry, Watermelon, Grabe, Bubble, Berry, Mango, Citrus and many more. The liquor brand’s “What’s Your O-Face?” campaign will include a series of promo ads run nationwide, along with in-store merchandising.

We guess Lil Kim can hold being the first female rapper to endorse a brand of liquor over Nicki Minaj‘s head now… shame.

Lindsay Lohan is preparing for a 90 day prison sentence in a Los Angeles jail starting July 20th and it appears that Lil Kim has reached out to the troubled movie star. We all know that Lil Kim did some time behind bars herself and here’s what she said this week about being there for her “friend” as she whipped up her custom milkshake at Millions of Milkshakes in Los Angeles earlier this week:

“There is a lot of bigger fish to be fried when it comes to the justice system. Lindsay, she’s my friend, and I will be there for her and I will help her. I love you Linds.”

Is she really trying to help Lindsay or using this situation as a way to bring attention to herself? She claims to be a friend, but we can’t recall ever seeing them hanging out together. EVER…

Lil’ Kim spent her 36th birthday Sunday (Jul. 11) premiering her new milkshake flavor at Millions of Milkshakes in Los Angeles. The shake was named “Queen Honey Bee,” and its ingredients include raspberries, bananas and nutella. Lil’ Kim posed for pictures as she demonstrated how the blend is made. We wonder if Kelis has considering doing this since she claims her milkshake brings all the boys to the yard. Why not put it to the test? (LOL)

Meanwhile, Kim recently told Lifelounge why she believes she is still relevant:

“I’m constantly growing. My album came out in ’97 but I started doing music in the early ‘90s. One reason that I’m still here and I’m still relevant to this day – probably even more relevant than a lot of new people who come into the industry – is because I know how to reinvent myself, I know how to change with the times.”

This little beef between Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj is getting more and more ridiculous by the minute. Lil Kim went on Ed Lover‘s Power 105 Morning Show yesterday (Wed. Jun 23) and felt the need to get some things off her chest when asked about the beef between herself and the Young Money femcee. Here’s what the self-proclaimed Queen B had to say about Drake defending his label mate Nicki Minaj:

“For Drake to fire back at me, you looking real on the pinker side of life Drake because you were suppose to fire that back at who said it which was a guy!”

Lil Kim then went on to address why she’s been going in on Nicki Minaj:

“First of all, to be copied is the biggest form of flattery. It’s not about her copying me. It’s not about that. It’s about her copying me and her creating that reign and then busting shots at me. I have a problem with that because as females we are already a minority in this industry so we need to kind of stick together and come out as a team against the fellas…”

As you can see, Lil Kim was definitely on a roll and even had something to say about her old friend Diddy:

Quite frankly, I gotta say I was very disappointed in him because usually he says something very intelligent and usually I can take something from him as my big brother. But I must say that in this specific statement that he made I was very disappointed…because number one he said I was mad. He set up there and said “she never tried to copy you, she never said anything bad against you.” Look at the new video! She talking about ‘Did i kill the queen.’ ” You wanna be subliminal? This is Hip-Hop!  If I was mad New York, we would have had the first earthquake you’ve ever seen!”

Is it just or is it sounding like Kim is a little bitter because Nicki Minaj is the the hottest female rapper in the game right now? Put out some new music and get back at Nicki that way Kim! We’re almost getting bored with you running your mouth about your fake “beef” with Nicki Minaj in every interview…

Drake doesn’t mind when you talk bad about him… but don’t talk sh** about the people close to him! Lil Kim has been going in on Drizzy’s label mate Nicki Minaj recently and when Drake spoke out on it at a concert, Kim responded by calling the Young Money rapper a “straight p**sy”

“I really liked Drake. I liked his music and what he was doing. But for him to have the audacity to disrespect me? He gone shout me out when Ray J’s the one who said it. How bitchy do you look right now, you look like a straight p*ssy… p*ssy! You came at me and I’m the f*cking female! …”

Lil Kim has a few things to say about rapper Drake and the recent comments he made about her dissing his labelmate Nicki Minaj. During part two of her interview with ThisIs50.com (peep part 1 here), the Queen Bee calls Drizzy out for disrespecting her instead of getting at Ray J, who she says was really going in on Nicki on stage that night harder than she was. Take that Lil Kim!

Lil Kim has taken the time to fully explain why she’s been taking shots at Nicki Minaj. In an interview with This Is 50, she explains how Nicki repeatedly took shots at her, which she has ignored until now:

“For the last year she has been subliminally taken shots at me. Subliminally taken shots at the other girls in the industry. I mean come on, we read that interview where she said “Being that the other rap chicks in the game ain’t got sh*t to do right now, when I’m by the pool they can feed me grapes”. I remember that sh*t, I keep my ears to the street at all the time. Just because I do my Hollywood thing and you know my Malibu Barbie thing don’t mean my ear isn’t to the streets at all time. The last thing she did that was very subliminal “Did I [inaudible] the Queen?” and Puffy sitting right next to her riding with that bullsh*t?” Come on! We ain’t stupid.

Let’s go all the way back when when she first came out and was doing all of my songs over. There was certain interviews that she was doing and my fans got upset because she was busting shots at me. Actually she was throwing pebbles. It was nothing. I was blowing them out my face like flies. She said some sh*t on twitter like “Oh f*ck all you Lil Kim fans. Nicki Minaj is the sh*t right now”. I still let that ride

So a little while goes by, I see her at the Lil Wayne concert and I show her love. She sitting here saying she showed me love, I showed her love. She reciprocated it but it was a little war on her behalf. A little obnoxious but whatever. Now from that time on right, I would go on the internet and see little pebbles thrown my way. Anybody that’s in the hip hop industry, we know how this game goes. We know the sh*t she was saying was subliminal, we know it’s a competitive sport and little people are going to try to claim their spot.

My thing was, homegirl got a nice little buzz going. It’s obvious I’m who she wants to be like. It’s obvious that she likes me and wants to be like me but she’s not paying this homage.

Drake has taken it upon himself to talk more about the new “beef” brewing between female rappers Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj! The Young Money rapper said in a recent interview with DJ Envy that he’s just doing his part to stand up for his label-mate. He also spoke further on how he feels about Lil Kim publicly dissing Nicki. Check out what Drake had to say below:

On Lil Kim being a rap legend:
“Lil Kim is a G in the game. She’s part of an era that’s classic, that we’ll never forget as young kids, me and Nicki. You don’t have to get on stage and announce your presence and tell people to pay homage. That’s a given. I’ve watched Nicki pay homage to her time and time again.”

On Lil Kim publicly dissing Nicki Minaj on stage:
“I didn’t respect that at all…You’re just showing that you’re upset. Nobody’s done that to me yet. But I wouldn’t expect Jay or ‘Ye to get on stage and be like ‘yo pay homage to me, you need to respect me.’ They know and command my respect with their music and talent. To me that’s a sign that you’re just losing it. I really did take that personally….You’re supposed to be a G, and that wasn’t G at all.”

In other news, tweets from a twitter account under Lil Kim’s name were being re-tweeted last night with remarks made about Nicki Minaj, etc. But we thought we should clarify for those who didn’t know: Lil Kim does not have a twitter.
