Trey Songz was a featured performer and headliner Thursday night at the BMI Urban Unsigned Talent Showcase, held in Atlanta at E.S.S.O. Nightclub. Nas and new Capital Records signee Novel also performed at the showcase. The 12th annual event gave hopefuls from across the country a chance to display their talent in front of Atlanta’s influential, superstar-spotting music community, and the showcase finalists were chosen by a group of top BMI songwriters, producers and industry execs from a whopping 300 submissions. Don’t you just hate when you get a new cell phone number and the original owner of that number has a ton of “phone baggage” (stalkers/bug-a-boos, telemarketers, bill collectors, estranged family members, etc.)? Well imagine if you were Lil Jon and you discovered you had Miley Cyrus‘ old number!

“I was basically in shock, like how did that happen?!” he said in a statement. “Especially when I get texts like ‘CONGRATULATIONS ON TEEN VOGUE!’” Lil Jon told Access that Miley’s friends have been calling him by mistake, but he’s planning on keeping the line.

DJ Drama, T.I., Snoop Dogg and Akon were spotted on the set of DJ Drama’s latest music video for his new single, “Daydreamin.” The video was filmed in Hollwood, CA and here are the photos from last night’s shoot. This will probably be T.I.’s last music video appearance (if he doesn’t release his own) before he heads back to jail for one year beginning in March of this year. Ciara songs from Fantasy Ride are leaking like crazy. This “Roll Call” track is ATL styled up CRUNK featuring Lil’ Jon and Lil’ Wayne. This song is definitely for the lovers of CRUNK. I’m a little disappointed though in all the tracks we’ve heard thus far from Ciara’s project. They all are rather lackluster and are missing something that the last albums delievered. Hopefully, Ciara picks up the notes and brings it but she always does.
