Hosted by comedian Ricky Gervais for the third consecutive time, the 2012 Golden Globes’ red carpet also saw appearances from Jessica Alba, Jane Lynch, Mary J. Blige, Lea Michele, Amber Riley, Heidi Klum, Salma Hayek, Ryan Seacrest, Owen Wilson, and Jessica Biel, among many others.

Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio have called it quits after only five months of dating.

Reps for both stars confirmed the news to US Weekly, adding that the pair “remain friends.”

The A-list duo were first spotted getting cozy aboard Steven Spielberg’s yacht in Monte Carlo back in May during the Cannes Film Festival.

In the following months, the 24-year-old “Gossip Girl” star and the 36-year-old “Inception” actor continued a whirlwind romance that spanned across the globe. The couple were spotted everywhere, from Italy, to California, to New York City.

DiCaprio is currently filming “The Great Gatsby” and will star in the upcoming J. Edgar Hoover biopic, while Lively is set to star in the Oliver Stone pic “The Savages,” slated for release sometime in 2012.

On if he has any interest in directing:
“Yeah, I do. And if I did direct, I would try to have the same no-bulls— approach to it as [Clint Eastwood] and his crew have. Seriously, there are no frills on his set. It’s a small, tight-knit crew.”

On which movie he’s proud of:
“The Aviator. I’d wanted to play Howard Hughes for 10 years and was around for multiple rewrites. Michael Mann was on it at one point. And finally [Martin] Scorsese got involved. I was very proud of that movie. It was the first film where I felt inherently like a partner.”

On a movie he originally passed on, then changed his mind:
“My father has always been a huge force with me. I had passed on a script about the French poet Arthur Rimbaud [Total Eclipse]. He explained to me that Rimbaud was the James Dean of his time … I did the movie, and I loved playing him. If I just waited for moments of ‘I have to do this,’ I would do a movie only every four or five years.”

Leonardo DiCaprio and his supermodel girlfriend Bar Refaeli have decided to go their separate ways after a five-year relationship.

A source close to the couple tells Page Six: “It was amicable, they’re still friends and they are still talking. They just grew apart and went their separate ways.”

The source added the break-up had nothing to do with rumors of cheating. They continued, ”Neither were ready to settle down, and both have busy careers that have been taking them in different directions.”

Speculation that their relationship had gone sour was sparked recently after Leo spent a weekend getaway in Mexico with the guys last month, and Bar was photographed having dinner with a mystery man in Berlin earlier this week.

The couple dated for four years and split in 2009 before getting back together last year.

Director Christopher Nolan, responsible for “The Dark Knight” and  “The Prestige,” has yet again come to amaze audiences as he redefines the meaning of having an overactive imagination and sketches out the architecture of the mind. “Inception,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Ellen Page, Ken Watanabe, and Marion Cotillard, is a Sci-Fi adventure deep into the mind where the creativity of the imagination becomes powerful enough to reconstruct cities, potent enough to charter change through out the world and in the most dire conditions, it has the strength to change the rules.
