The star players of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Lebron James and Shaquille O’Neal, were spotted by the paparazzi on Wednesday (Oct 28) as they left their hotel to go to the Air Canada Center in Toronto, Canada to play against the Toronto Raptors.

Singer Chris Brown hit up a celebrity basketball game hosted by Lebron James and Nike Saturday (Sep 26) in California at the Hollywood & Highland Courtyard. Other celebrities at the event were Donald Faison, Terry Crews, Chris Tucker and of course, Lebron James.

Chris Brown will be headlining Power 105.1’s Powerhouse concert next month alongside Fabolous, The Dream, Trey Song, Keri Hilson, Mario, Day 26 and Ginuwine. This will be Brown’s first major promotional event and live performance since his altercation with Rihanna back in February 2009. The show goes down October 27th.

Also be on the look out for “Transformers,” Chris’ new song featuring Lil Wayne and produced by Swizz Beatz. Chris announced earlier today via his Twitter that he’d be dropping the song tomorrow instead of Wedenesday.

Beyonce has topped another Forbes list once again. Her fortune comes from big-paying projects such as her tour, movies, clothing line, and being the spokesperson for brand giants such as L’Oreal and Nintendo. Pop princess Britney Spears and basketball player LeBron James made it to the top five. Here Jamie Foxx can be seen paying tribute to Michael Jackson (comedically, of course) as the host of the 2009 BET Awards, which aired live from Los Angeles Sunday night (Jun 28) on BET. Jamie Foxx is probably one of the few people who can make light of a sad situation and have everyone laughing and crying at the same time. The BET Awards was supposed to dedicate the entire show to Michael, per the press release sent out Friday, but failed to impress.

The show itself was pretty good, but they should have never mentioned dedicating the show to MIchael if they didn’t have the time to do it right. That said, we really hope they put together an entire special to honor the late King of Pop so they can at least try to save face. Lebron James, who’s known to take great pride in his wardrobe, is featured on the cover of the February 2009 issue of GQ Magazine. But he can’t credit himself solely for his impeccable style. A few years ago, he hired a personal stylist who helps him out in the fashion department, and in the interview with GQ, he mentioned NBA commissioner David Stern, thanking him for instituting the rule where players have to get dressed for the game.

“I have to thank David Stern,” James said. “Ever since he put in the rule about having to get dressed for the game, I had to get dressed.”

The 24-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers player also mentioned how excited he was to be featured on the cover of GQ magazine.

“It’s great. It shows that I’m fashionable. I never thought I would be on the cover of GQ. But I’ve done some things I never thought I would do.”

The cheating defending champions, the Boston Celtics, have accomplished their best streak in franchise to start a winning streak from 21-2. The Celtics defeated the New Orleans Hornets last night to win their 22-2 addition. Paul Pierce responded in joy of the recognition.

“It all goes out the window if we don’t win the championship,” Pierce said.

This year belongs to the Lakers. I’m not going to hop on the Celtics’ bandwagon, I’m sticking with my team (coughs) L.A. Lakers! But no haterade over here, congratulations Celtics. Enjoy … for now.

NBA legend Charles Barkley believes that is is disrespectful for Cleveland Cavaliers star Lebron James to discuss his free agency, which begins after the 2010 basketball season.

“If I was LeBron James, I would shut the hell up,” the Hall of Famer said on Patrick’s show. “I’m a big LeBron fan. He’s a stud. You gotta give him his props. I’m getting so annoyed he’s talking about what he’s going to do in two years. I think it’s disrespectful to the game. I think it’s disrespectful to the Cavaliers.”

Well, apparently, Lebron doesn’t think so and his this to say about Barkley:

“He’s stupid. That’s all I’ve got to say about that,” James said.

LeBron James has just shot a 3-minute long commercial for his latest release of the Nike Zoom LeBron VI: After Six. The sexy Nicole Scherzinger shows up in the commercial as well which makes it a whole lot better. Check out the TV spot above.

Oh, say does the star spangled banner yet wave! Team USA took the gold against the final contender which was Spain. They’ve came a long way with one of the best line-ups seen in the Olympics in awhile. It was a great race towards the gold and it was definitely worth it. Team USA won by 11 (118-107). The match against Spain wasn’t as elementary as they would’ve hoped but it still didn’t road block the way to the main prize.

The Senior Men’s Basketball Team of USA has been progressing more and more every game and making their statement on where they stand in this competition. Two years ago, this accomplish of Team USA seems unreachable but the tables have definitely turned. USA overthrew Greece by 23 points (92-69) and is digging closer to the gold! Dwyane Wade finished with 17 points and felt their teamwork is the major difference between the past few olympic games:

“We played like we wanted to win. We played together,” Dwyane Wade said. “We were very aware of their offensive sets, we were very aware of their personnel and we played like that. So we were kind of a step in front of what they wanted to do because we kind of knew everything already.”

The Senior’s Men USA Team managed to take the win against Angola but it hardest is yet to come. Team USA has been steady with their wins during the Summer Olympics seeing that they haven’t lost against one opponent they’ve played. USA won by 21 points (97-76) last night against Angola. Team USA is buckling down for their tougher opponents coming up Thursday against Greece.

The USA Senior Men’s Team wins another consecutive game, this time against China. The game took place in Beijing. Although China was at home, USA still came out on top. This game will definitely go down in history. China’s secret weapon, Yao Ming, didn’t affect USA’s performance. Team USA took the victory by 31 points (101-70). Kobe Bryant even compare the night to one he’s never experienced before in his life:

“I’ve never felt an environment quite like this,” Kobe continued “I’ve played in many big games, but the energy tonight was different. I think they knew that history was being made tonight, obviously, it was a proud moment for their country as it is for ours. You could feel the electricity.”

The USA Senior Men’s Team took yet another win against Lithuania by 36 points (120-84). These countries are making it too easy! Dwyane Wade was undeniably on his game last night in China against Lithuania. Wade put up 19 points leading the team to 3 straight wins (3-0). D-Wade feels better as well as he’s playing too:

“I’m healthy again, as healthy as I’ve been in two years, and I’m excited not only about this opportunity, but I’m excited about the rest of my career,” said Wade, “I know what it takes and the weight room has become my best friend. Hard work has got me here.”

USA’s Senior Men’s Basketball Team played Turkey tonight an lit up the floor once again winning by a whopping 32 points (114-82) in the 2008 Summer Olympics! LeBron James returned to the court after a mildly sprained ankle and brought the USA team to the win after a rocky start. James totaled 20 points on the board. LeBron talked about how powerful the USA team is after the game:

“We have guys that can come in and wear a team down. Wear a second unit down or wear a first unit down,” James said. “Once we realized it’s going to not happen in the first quarter but toward the middle of the second quarter and then toward the end of the third quarter, we can break the game open, and that’s what we did.”

LeBron James is on the cover of the August 2008 issue of TIME Magazine. He’s currently working hard to push towards the gold medal in the 2008 Men’s Basketball Olympics in Beijing. He talks a little bit about how proud he was to represent the creator of basketball [USA]:

LEBRON: “It’s going to be like waking up on Christmas Day,” says James picturing himself on the stand being presented Beijing’s gold medal. “All you dreamed about this whole month was having that bike you wanted, and you get down to your living room — it’s there. The USA Basketball Senior Team got off to a great start in the 2008 Men’s Basketball Olympics last night and made me very proud! Although LeBron James was injured with a sprained ankle for the challenge the team still did wonders on the court without him beating Canada by 55 (120-65)!!! Imagine if LeBron James was playing! Coach Mike Krzyzewski said he wanted Dwyane Wade as emergency backup just in case something happened to Kobe Bryant or LeBron James. The backup [Dwayne Wade] kicked into overdrive in the challenge against Canada scoring 20 points in his first game in 4 months. Chris Paul, who had 11 points and 8 assists, talked about Wade’s perservance:

“D-Wade is a warrior to anybody who knows him. He’s been rehabbing and he’s been working out probably more than anybody, just trying to get back in shape,” Chris Paul said. “That’s D-Wade. We see it every day in practice and you saw it tonight, that he’s back. When he’s aggressive like that, we’re a dangerous team.”

The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Boston Celtics in Game 4 last night. The series is now tied (2-2). The Cavs won by a good 11 points (88-77). The indeed had to win Game 4 in order to stand ground in this series. LeBron James, who had 21 points, 13 assists and 6 rebounds, said at the game’s end:

“We took care of home court and turned it into a three-game series,” James said.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 9 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Kevin Garnett finished the game with 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics.

Game 5 airs Wednesday (May 14) @ 8PM on TNT.

The Cleveland Cavaliers take the victory of the series against the Washington Wizards in the sixth game (4-2). LeBron James scoring his 3rd-career playoffs’ triple-double in game 6 with 27 points, 13 rebounds beating the Wizards’ by 17 (105-88). The Cavs has had a great season and now they’re advancing closer to the Finals. Cavaliers’ teammate Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. LeBron was happy to see his team coming closer to the Finals stated at the end of Game 6:

“Cleveland is advancing. We won the series 4-2. That speaks louder than me saying anything about the fans here, anything about DeShawn Stevenson ,” James said, referring back to when he called him “overrated”. “Cleveland is advancing. That’s all that matters.”

(Photos: National Basketball Association) The Cleveland Cavs won again against the Washington Wizards. LeBron James shows once again that he’s less than “overrated”. The Cavs took the victory by a final 3-point shot (100-97). LeBron was booed everytime the ball touched his hand today but that still didn’t stop him. King James had 34 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Delonte West, who scored the final 3-point shot of the game, had 21 points, 5 assists and 3 steals. The Cavs still lead (3-1).

Game 5 airs Wed. (Apr. 30).

The Washington Wizards make a comeback Thursday night. Only behind by one victory, the Cleveland Cavaliers was defeated by the Wizards, bringing an end to their winning spree (2-1). The Cleveland Cavaliers lose brutally by a 36 point blowout (108-72). The Wizards was determined to win last night. They won…and they won hard! DeShawn Stevenson had 19 points. Caron Butler scored 17 points. Loyal fans of the Wizards’ backed up Stevenson’s comment by chanting that LeBron James was “overrated” over and over again. Although Stevenson had to swallow his comments before in the two previous games they were defeated in. LeBron had 22 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists. I’m definitely looking for to Game 4.

Game 4 airs Sunday @ 1 on ABC.

LeBron racked up 30 points, 12 assists, and 9 rebounds. James was only one rebound off from getting his 2nd career triple-double in the playoffs. Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 16 points and 9 rebounds. Wally Szczerbiak respectively had 15 points.

The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Washington Wizards by a 7-point win (93 – 86). LeBron had 32 points, Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 22 points and 11 rebounds, Delonte West made four free throws in the final 15.1 seconds to seal Cleveland’s win. Making two tough shot at the very stretch of the game. LeBron played his hardest to prove to Wizards’ shooting guard, DeShawn Stevenson, that he’s not what Stevenson called him [James], “Overrated”.

Game 2 Starts Monday Night.

Ballots for MVP are already in and Kobe Bryant is the winner, but LeBron James agrees that Kobe deserves the award. Lebron recently said:

”I’d give it to Kobe,” Lebron says ”What he’s done this whole year, to carry that team to the No. 1 team in the West right now. He’s playing his best basketball all around. I’ve watched him the whole year. I saw it last summer when I played with him with USA Basketball and the sacrifices he’s made for the team and he’s done that with the Lakers.”

NBA star Lebron James has a big-time agenda to meet! He has publicy stated that he wants to become the first billionaire athlete, and at the young age of 24, he might just meet that goal. With endorsements deals from Nike, Sprite, and now Vitamin Water, amongst other deals, the “point forward,” as he is called, has earned close to $250 million!

But back to his new deal. The Cleveland Cavaliers front man will be featured in a series of commercials advertising Vitamin Water. The commercials are set to air during the 2008 NBA Playoffs, and will feature Lebron James as a lawyer. That’s a far cry from his current image: “King Kong.” I know you guys peeped his cover shoot for Vogue Magazine. If you haven’t heard about the controversy that particular cover has been causing, then you need to find a new place to live, because the hole you’ve apparently been living in appears to be pretty dark and lonely!

Cleveland Cavaliers front man Lebron James and supermodel Gisele Bundchen are featured on the cover of the April 2008 issue of Vogue Magazine. What makes this issue so particularly special is in the magazine’s 116-year history, Lebron James is only the 3rd male to cover the popular fashion magazine! And not only is he the 3rd male, but he is the 1st black male! Definitely a good look.

“It’s pretty good,” James said Thursday night before the Cavs’ game in Washington. “Me being a big guy and a big supporter of fashion, to be on the cover with Gisele, on the cover of the biggest fashion magazine ever – it’s pretty good.”

Oprah Winfrey tops the list, earning a whopping $260 million, Tiger Woods trails behind her at a distant $100 milion, and Jay-Z is right behind him with $83 million earned.
