The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was taped in New York City at the Lexington Avenue Armory Wednesday night (Nov 9) for a TV special that will air on CBS later this month.

The pink carpet featured appearances from various celebs like TV personality Lala Anthony, R&B singer Maxwell, Hip-Hop mogul and philanthropist Russell Simmons, actor Cuba Gooding Jr., model Tyson Beckford and Maroon 5 front-man Adam Levine.

Supermodels Chanel Iman and Miranda Kerr looked absolutely stunning as they ripped the runway, showing off the brand’s newest and sexiest styles of lingerie, with Kerr walking down the runway wearing the $2.5 million diamond-studded bra designed by London Jewelers.

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show airs Tuesday, November 29th at 10 pm ET on CBS.

R&B singer/songwriter and philanthropist Alicia Keys rounded up some of her A-List celebrity friends to join her last Thursday night (Nov 3) in New York City for her annual Keep A Child Alive Ball.

The gala, which raised $3 million for the children’s charity “Keep A Child Alive” featured appearances from Keys’ husband Swizz Beatz, Serena Williams, Carmelo and LaLa Anthony, Queen Latifah, Kerry Washington, Tyra Banks and more, as well as performances from Usher, Will.i.am, Jay Sean, Nora Jones and Alicia Keys herself, among others.

The $3 million raised will go towards providing lifesaving AIDS treatment, care and support for children and families affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and the Middle East.

“I am overwhelmed by the kindness I witnessed last night at the eighth annual Black Ball NY,” Alicia Keys said in a statement. “I am forever grateful to all of our supporters whose generosity will provide AIDS treatment and care for so many in desperate need.”

VH1 just announced today that newlyweds Carmelo Anthony and LaLa are getting their own reality show!

According to the New York Post, filming began in January and the show titled “La La’s Full Court Life.” The series is a follow-up of sorts to last fall’s five-episode wedding special “La La’s Full Court Wedding” which documented the duo’s July 2010 nuptials. The new 10-episode series, which will focus on the duo as they move their family from Colorado to New York, is scheduled to premiere in August.

Jeff Olde, EVP of VH1, spoke on why fans seem to love LaLa so much:

“Viewers connect with La La because despite the fairy-tale wedding and NBA star husband, she is a real, down-to-earth, hardworking woman who stays true to herself, the best thing about the new series is that while pursuing and realizing her dreams, La La gets to take us back to her home in New York, where her story began.”

Meanwhile, Carmelo played his first game as New York Knick last night. The newcomer scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds leading the Knicks to a 114-108 victory over the Bucks.

In a recent interview with Life & Style Magazine, Vazquez revealed that her BFF Kim Kardashian hooked her up with the beautiful Vera Wang wedding gown she walked down the aisle in. And not only that, but KK even hooked Lala up with her and Ciara‘s personal trainer Gunnar Peterson to lose 15 pounds so that she could fit into the custom-made gown. Lala told L&S Mag:

“Kim and Ciara have incredible bodies, so I thought, if he’s the guy responsible for that, then I need to get in there.”

After an 8-week regimen that included weight training, core work and cardio exercises, and practicing portion control, Vazquez dropped from a size 8 to a size 6.

VH1 recently announced that Lala and Carmelo will participate in a five-episode reality series that will chronicle the planning of their wedding and the actual ceremony. According to Kelly’s official website, her “I Heart My Girlfriends” charity will focus on women’s self-esteem and empowerment, date violence prevention, community service and mentoring, abstinence, media and financial literacy, obesity prevention, drug, alcohol and anti-smoking avoidance and much more. The website also says that the charity “will serve as an interactive support system for teenage girls.”

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, NBA basketball player Carmelo Anthony and his fiancee, TV personality Lala Vazquez, sent out their official “save-the-date” invites to their upcoming summer wedding earlier this week. Per the heart-shaped V Day-themed pre-invite, Carmelo and Lala plan to officially tie the knot in Lala’s home state of New York on July 10th 2010.

Anthony and Vazquez have been dating for some time now and on top of that, have been engaged for over five years. The pair also have a three-year-old son together named Kiyan.

“I like her work so I hired her to come on board for my wedding,” Vazquez told Williams.

Vazquez, a former MTV and NBA all-star player Carmelo Anthony, who have a 3-year-old son together named Kiyan, plan to exchange their wedding vows in New York. Vazquez doesn’t have a final list for the bridal party but she says her celeb pals Kim Kardasian and Solange Knowles, will be apart of it to some level. As for the guest list an estimate amount of 250-300 has been set.

“… Everybody’s been waiting for it so long, we might as well invite everybody to come hang out,” she laughed.

Clothing brand Famous Stars & Stripes celebrated their 10th anniversary with a big party at Vanguard Tuesday night (Dec 8) in Hollywood. The party also doubled as an album release party for rapper Snoop Dogg‘s 10th studio album Malice N Wonderland, which was released to stores the same night. Travis Barker, pictured with Snoop above, along with other celebrities like Sean Paul, Pharrell Williams, Ray J, Mike Epps, Vanessa Simmons, Lamar Odom and many more all came out to celebrate both occasions.

Lala Vazquez and Brittny Gastineau were on hand to celebrate their BFF Kim Kardashian‘s 28th birthday Friday night (Oct 16) at TAO Nightclub in Las Vegas … even though the TV personality/socialite doesn’t officially turn the big 2-8 until Wednesday (Oct 21).
