(PHOTOS: SPLASHNEWS) My boy Kobe Bryant needs to be nominated for the father of the year award for how much time he spends with his kids on and off the court. It’s good to see a black man actually be a father to his kids. More props to K.B. for this one. As you can see Kobe isn’t “moved” by what Shaq had to say last week about him losing the finals. All I can say is ‘next year”. And people say Kobe isn’t a stand-up guy…
In a recent TMZ video, Shaquille ‘O Neal called himself “free-styling” and trying to rap and he caught himself dissing Kobe Bryant hard! I cannot believe this! Shaq seriously needs to retire. I’m not even gonna get into why he should but check out the video above!
What do you think Kobe Bryant is saying to Kevin Garnett? Here what I think! LOL!
Kobe Says:
“K.G. it’s okay, this year is not for ya’ll. It’s my time to shine so don’t cry about it. You always have next…I’m sorry dude. I have to win the finals!”
I saw this video yesterday and I found the full vid on YouTube. Kobe is with the cast from MTV’s Jackass who does nothing but crazy stuff. Kobe Bryant is RAW!!! Ya’ll have to check out this video!
(Photos: Getty Images) The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz once again which is no surprise. Kobe Bryant still continues to dominate right after winning the MVP award the day before. Kobe lead L.A. to another victory (2-0) with a total of 34 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. The Lakers won by 10 points (120-110) last night. Lamar Odom racked up 19 points, 16 rebounds, and 2 assists. Pau Gasol had 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Kobe was pumped last night for Game 2. After the game he stated how he felt:
“It was an emotional night for all of us,” Bryant said after the game. “We haven’t seen Staples Center this electric. It gave me goose bumps. You want to ride the momentum, and we were able to do that.”
The best player in the league, Kobe Bryant, finally got what he deserves today and was crowned MVP of the year. Kobe Bryant should have received this award years ago but now he has to wait no longer. Kobe had some words in honor of him winning MVP:
“I really don’t know what to say to be honest with you. It’s a blessing and such an honor to be here. To recieve this award, I can go through a list of thank you’s. My family, they enabled me to be the best I can be.., training everyday and they give up so much to sacrifice for me to be able to train and prepare for games and I’m just very honored and blessed to be here.” Bryant said.
He also mentioned that his team [The Los Angeles Lakers] helped him out a great deal:
“I couldn’t have won without my players, my teammates. This is a team award. This is not an individual award. This is an award I couldn’ve won on my own. If that was the case I would’ve won when I was averaging 40,” He laughs and continues. “This gets done because we all do it as a union. I can’t thank these guys enough. These are my guys, these are my brothers. Let’s get ready for tomorrow.”
The Denver Nuggets can seem to get it right. I don’t know if it’s intimidation of Kobe Bryant or what. The L.A. Lakers win a another victorious game last night by 18 (102-84). The stats are now in the Lakers favor with their own winning rampage (3-0). Top player of last night’s game has to be Kobe Bryant. Kobe scored 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists.Pau Gasol had 14 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds. Lamar Odom had 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Allen Iverson was disappointed about the loss and knows he wasn’t on his best skills last night. Iverson had a total of 15 points, 3 assists, and 4 rebounds. A.I. said after the game:
“I was getting to the basket, I just wasn’t finishing.” Ivo added, “And the same thing happened to ‘Melo’.”
(Photos: Getty Images) The L.A. Lakers redefined themselves last night with a huge win and leading them with a score of 2-0 in the playoffs. The final score went to the L.A. Lakers (122-107). No one could stop Kobe Bryant last night, scoring 19 points within a time span of 4:19 of the 4th quarter. K.B. had a total of 49 points and 10 assists. Pau Gasol had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Luke Walton had 18 points. Opponent Allen Iverson responded after the game:
“Tonight, the way he was going, we probably could’ve put 10 people on the court and probably wouldn’t have been able to stop him [Kobe].”
(Photos: Getty Images) The most valuable player of yesterday afternoon’s game is Pau Gasol. He was definetly on point with his offense and did more than exceptionally well on defense. Gasol had 36 points, 8 assists, 16 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots. L.A. took the victory with a 14-point win (128-114). Kobe Bryant scored 18 points of his total 32 points in the last 8 minutes of the game to make sure they’ll lead the victory. Lamar Odom had 17 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists. On the opposing team, Carmelo Anthony was MVP out of his teammates scoring 30 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals. Allen Iverson had 30 points as well before he was immediately removed for 2 technical fouls. L.A. Lakers’ MVP of the game, Pau Gasol, said at the end of the game:
“It feels amazing, it feels great. I had a blast out there.” Gausol said, “We did a pretty good job, we can do better. We’re happy with the win, I’m happy with the win. Hopefully there will be many more.”
