R&B singer Monica played host to a HUGE party at Club Liv in Miami on the night of Mother’s Day (Sun May 13) that was attended by several of her music industry friends.

Among the big names spotted in the club were Ludacris, Diddy, Trina and Monica’s hubby Shannon Brown of the Phoenix Suns.

Lil Wayne also hit the stage for a three-song performance set, while comedian Kevin Hart took the mic every now and then to crack a few jokes with the crowd.

The star-studded movie premiere featured various red carpet appearances from much of the ensemble cast and celebrity supporters, including Gabrielle Union, Terrence J, Michael Ealy, Kevin Hart, Selita Ebanks, Regina Hall, Ne-Yo, T.I., Nelly and many others.

There were lots of celebrities sitting courtside Sunday night (Feb 26) watching the East and West go head to head during the 2012 NBA All-Star Game at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Some of the big names included Young Money rappers Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne (who was wearing a pair of million-dollar, diamond encrusted Beats by Dre. headphones), as well as R&B singers Chris Brown, Cee-Lo Green and Mary J. For the fourth time this year … comedian Kevin Hart made an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

During his stop, in addition to talking about his new comedy tour, the funnyman also spoke on his kids attending an all-white school, not having a New Year’s resolutions, a funny experience he had with horseback riding, and more.

Once the guys figure out what’s going on, they decide to turn the tables on the women and take matters into their own hands.

The 9th Annual Ford Hoodie Awards went down over the weekend (Sat. Aug 13) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

Hosted by Steve Harvey, the 2011 Hoodie Awards featured appearances from R&B singer Letoya Luckett, actor/BET personality Terrence J, actor/comedian Kevin Hart, gospel singers Tye Tribbett, Marvin Sapp, & Kirk Franklin, actresses Tisha Campbell-Martin & Tichina Arnold, and many more. The 90-city tour has been dubbed one of the most successful comedy concerts in history, and now Hartbeat Productions and Codeblack Entertainment have announced that a full-length feature film, also titled “Laugh at My Pain,” is due to hit theaters on September 9th.

The movie documents a raw and uncut version Hart’s 2-day performance at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, as well as backstage footage and more.

Viewers will also be taken on a trip back to Philadelphia, where Kevin Hart began his journey to become one of the funniest and most successful comedians of all time.

The 2011 BET Awards aired live from Los Angeles Sunday night (Jun 26) … and the best part of the entire show (in our opinion) was host Kevin Hart‘s extra funny “Real Husbands of Hollywood” comedy sketch!

The multi-part sketch, which along with Hart, also starred Bobby Brown, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri, Nick Cannon and Anthony Anderson parodied Bravo’s “Real Housewives” as well as VH1′s “Basketball Wives,” making fun of the some of the most hilarious moments on the reality shows.

The song comes from T-Pain’s upcoming studio album “RevolveR,” which features appearances from Lil Wayne, Drake and Chris Brown, and is expected to come out later this year.

Kevin Hart doesn’t have any hard feelings for his ex-wife Torrei. The comedian/actor called up Power 105.1′s The Breakfast Club this morning and spoke on everything from them splitting up to the YouTube video of her blasting him during a live comedy show.

Peep what he said below:

“That’s actually from when we first split up. People don’t understand: I’ve been separated for almost a year and a half now. But now the media is getting hold of it because the [divorce] filing is going through. But when I first decided to leave, she decided to get on stage. No matter what, that’s the mother of my kids, I gotta love her for that. So regardless of what she displays, whether it’s anger or not, I’m not gonna bash the woman. I want the best for her because I gotta be in her life for the next 18 years. So, at the time she was coming from a hurt place, that’s where that came from. She’s a different person now. It was sad that they put that out there because it hurt her. Now, we cool. It’s a divorce, but it’s not an angry one.”

He even recalled an incident where he got beat up by a girl cousin named “Kimberly.” Funny stuff!!

Kevin Hart and his wife of nearly 8 years are calling it quits!!

The actor/comedian has formally filed for divorce from his wife Torrei after legally separating on February 5th 2010, according to court documents filed in California. Kevin and Torrei have two children together, 5-year-old daughter Heavenly and their 3-year-old son Hendricks.

Hart, who is seeking joint custody of the children, cites irreconcilable differences for the split, and is asking the court not to give ANY spousal support to Torrei. He is also requesting that Torrei not be allowed to leave the state of California without either a court order or his permission. (Wow!)

We don’t know what happened between these two, but this sounds messy as hell!

R&B singer/actor Mario hit the stage as the headliner at the event, which included a full day of activities, contests and other events, including the concert. The event is totally free and was hosted by comedian Kevin Heart. Producer/songwriter turned singer Sean Garrett and new R&B girl group Rich Girl also performed during the concert portion of the event.

Teaming up with the fast food giant, Mario will perform in over six North American cities this summer. The best part is… it’s free !

In addition to having Mario lined up for what Burger King is calling “BK Fam Fest,” the chain will also offer a full day of activities, contests, and other events in each city. Hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, BK Fam Fest is geared toward providing eight hours of fun and food for families, incuding arts and crafts, a build a whopper contest and other family fun activities. Her battle and the race to find a match for the bone marrow transplant has garnered a lot of press and media attention, especially from the Black celebrities, including Rihanna, Kelly Rowland, Natalie Cole, Vivica A. Fox and more.

Soon-to-be newlyweds Lance Gross and Eva Marcille were all booed up at the Los Angeles screening of “Russell Simmons Presents Brave New Voices,” held at the Steven J. Ross Theater on the Warner Bros. studio lot last Wednesday in Burbank, California.

Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson was spotted at the Balthazar VIP Dinner, sponsored by Topshop, Wednesday night in new York. Catch her in a town near you as she goes on tour with Robin Thicke!
