
Nickelodeon star Keke Palmer attended the 25th Annual Artios Awards, sponsored by the Casting Society of America, Monday night (Nov 2) at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, California.
The 16-year-old actress was a presenter at the event, which honored select members in over eighteen different theatrical casting categories.
November is proving to be a pretty big month for the teen actress already and we’re only 4 days in. According to Black Celebrity Kids, she’ll put her vocal talent to work with a performance this Thanksgiving at the big Macy’s Thanksigiving Day Parade on November 26th.
“I am so excited about this performance , I will be debuting a song I co-wrote called , Top Of The World, so please if you are in the New York area come and check me out in person, and if not please tune in.”
And just 5 days prior to that her new one-hour True Jackson, VP movie “Flirting With Fame” will air at 8:30 PM ET/PT on Nickelodeon.

It was announced a couple of weeks ago that Nickelodeon had ordered a second season of the hit live-action comedy series “True Jackson, VP,” which currently ranks as the number two show for kids and tweens on Saturday night. Nickelodeon’s Executive Vice President Marjorie Cohn announced the news about the series, which stars multi-talented actress Keke Palmer as 15-year old True Jackson. True Jackson is the vice president of the youth division of a major fashion label.
“Keke Palmer is an extraordinarily talented actress who is both relatable and aspirational to her viewers,” said Cohn. “Her star quality, coupled with a dynamic cast and funny, compelling storytelling, has been a winning combination. We are thrilled to be bringing this successful series back for a second season.”

Keke Palmer has been named the “#8 Most Valuable Young Star In Hollywood”, according to Forbes Magazine. 15-year-old Palmer was the only Black Teen Actress named on the list, which included teen actors Daniel Radcliff, Miley Cyrus, Dakota Fanning, Abigail Breslin, Hayden Panettiere, Emma Watson, Freddie Highmore, Emma Roberts and Anton Yelchin.
Palmer, who currently stars as True Jackson, VP, a popular show on the Nickelodeon Channel, of which she recently received an 2009 NAACP Image Award for “Outstanding Performance In a Youth/Children’s Program-Series or Special.” The 15-year-old also co-stars with Oscar Winner Kevin Spacey in Shrink, a new film that will be released this spring.
