R&B singer The Dream, who recently released his sophomore album, Love vs. Money, loved his collaboration with Kanye West (”Walking On The Moon“) so much that he wants to record an ENTIRE album with the rapper.

“Everybody is trying to talk us into it,” Dream said of his and West’s friends and business associates. “It was first thought of by me. I was in Miami at the time, and I gave Kanye a call and said, ‘The best thing would be for me and you to do an album.’ I feel he’s at a certain place in hip-hop, I’m at a certain place in R&B, and lyrically, I’m just in a certain place in my lifetime. Let’s take the best of both worlds and put it on a CD and try to make something we can sell to the consumers. He says he’s with it. We’re gonna try to make it happen. I told him, ‘Let me lift my profile up a little bit.’ ”

Reps for Kanye didn’t comment on the joint album, but The Dream said that once they got the concept down, recording “wouldn’t take long at all,” and we believe him! Both he and Kanye recorded their latest albums in less than a week, and if you put their minds together in a studio, they could probably finish a 10 - 15 track album in a 24 hour period … no joke. Are you looking forward to this album if it sees the light of day?

We wonder if Keri Hilson and her people (mainly Polow Da Don) had that whole “leaked diss track” thing planned to generate buzz for her new video release, which will in turn have people talking about her just in time to make pretty good numbers when her album debuts in 2 weeks (March 24th 2009). Kanye West may consider himself America’s #1 idol, but reports say the rapper will perform his hit single, “Heartless,” on FOX’s American Idol this Wednesday.

Hip-Hop star Kanye West will make a high profile appearance on American Idol on Wednesday (March 11). West and former American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson will perform live during Idol’s elimination show, where the Top 13 will battle for the American Idol crown. West, who has won 12 Grammy Awards, will perform “Heartless” from his latest album 808s & Heartbreak, while Clarkson will sing her hit single “My Life Would Suck Without You,” taken from her new album All I Ever Wanted, which hits stores on Tuesday (March 10).
