Rap artist Kanye West is jumping on board with the likes of other celebrities such as Nelly, Fat Joe, and hip hop mogul Russell Simmons to create a high energy drink of his own. Energy drink manufacturers Guru will create the drink for West, which will consist of only natural and organic ingredients with no additives or preservatives.

“I express myself through music, fashion, art and design and that’s why I am excited to collaborate with GURU; because the brand values what I value, and I can put what inspires me into this new product,” says Kanye.

West’s focus doesn’t lie solely on his product as he will also be apart of developing Guru’s new drink which is expected to make its debut in the United States and Canada.

The creative geniuses behind South Park made fun of rapper Kanye West by repeatedly calling him a “gay fish” in their latest episode Wednesday night. They also poked a little fun as his “infamous ego” and his “temper tantrums.” And Kanye himself responded to the show in his blog, and surprisingly … he agreed with them! He said he was hurt, but added that “having the crazy ego is played out” and he just wanted to be a better person. Could this mean our Kanye is really growing up? Some of the biggest names of the celebrity entertainment world, Jay-Z, Kanye West and Rihanna, have teamed up with Parlux and Jay-Z’s Iconic Fragrances to launch a series of new celebrity fragrances, beginning in summer 2010 with the launch of Rihanna and Kanye’s signature scents. Parlux’s CEO Neil Katz confirmed the news to People.com, adding that a yet-to-be-announced “well-established female artist” will join the trio. And no … it’s not Beyonce.

For his part, hip-hop mogul Jay-Z is looking forward to the to expanding his empire, saying in a statement, “We are excited for the opportunity to partner with Parlux and their management team in the launch of these dynamic new brands.”

Parlux’s CEO Neil Katz continues, “We are extremely excited to begin work on our projects with Rihanna and Kanye West. Each is an extremely highly regarded celebrity at the top of his or her profession who is undoubtedly going to make an indelible impression in the fragrance industry, just as each has done in the entertainment world.” And it seems that the stars are just as confident about the impending success of the scents. In an unusual move, they will receive payment in royalties, profit sharing and Parlux stocks rather than cash. And while there’s no word yet on who the mystery artist is, Parlux dismisses the idea that the star in question is Beyonce.

Here’s a new track from our new favorite rapper, Kid Cudi, featuring rappers and labelmates Kanye West and Common. Titled “I Poke Her Face,” the song samples Lady Gaga’s similarly titled “Poker Face.” We hope this one lands on his upcoming album. Be sure to pick it up when it hits stores this summer!

Kanye West is taking his 808’s and Heartbreaks album on tour! He’s reportedly set to begin the tour this summer in Europe, and arrive in the U.S. by the fall. And if you hit up the 2008 “Glow in the Dark” tour, you definitely know you should be prepared for something amazing as far as the lighting and stage set up.

“The last one was done because I didn’t feel like doing a rap show, because of all I was going through in my life. All I felt like was playing with ‘Star Wars’ (toys) and being Luke Skywalker. So I figured you know, ‘I’ll do a rap show if I can just be like Luke Skywalker every night.’ And so I just wrote my own sci-fi and played in it.”

They include filmmaker Spike Jonze, who directed West’s upcoming “See You In My Nightmares” video, and The Jim Henson Company.

Rapper Kanye West and tv personality Kim Kardashian are both featured on the covers of the April/May 2009 issue of Complex Magazine.

Complex went digital with Kanye’s cover, transorming him into some futuristic super being. Which is pretty much what Kanye’s career has turned into over the years. We’ve given up on figuring it out, and Kanye’s feature in Complex basically tells you to give up on figuring it out too. He’s Kanye and here to stay.

On the flip-side, Complex revisits Kim Kardashian’s first cover with them, which marked her very first magazine cover ever. And now 2 years later, she’s this big “star.” But for what? She has a banging body and like or not, she’s a damn good business woman. Her whole life has been her business and she knows how to properly market her brand.
