Check out “Back to the Crib,” a new song with Chris Brown singing the hook and Juelz Santana spitting bars over a dope trumpet-filled beat. Even though some parts sounds like Chris added some “enhancements” to his voice, we still think this is a pretty solid track. It’s good he and Juelz are still working together after all of these years too. Remember, Juelz was featured on Chris’ breakthrough track, “Run It,” back in 2005 when he first hit the scene. But anyway, take a listen to their new song below!

Rapper Juelz Santana was taken into custody early Tuesday (Aug 25) after cops were called to his New Jersey home this morning. Apparently he got into an argument with his son’s mother and allegedly threatened to kill her.

Santana’s rep, Lynn Hobson, reached out to XXL Mag clarifying what really went down after TMZ mistakenly called the woman his “wife.”

“Police were called to Juelz Santana’s Home in Teaneck, New Jersey at 10 a.m. after an argument between him and his son’s mother,” Hobson said in a statement. “LaRon James p/k/a Juelz Santana was then arrested and after review of the incident, police quickly released him. Santana is now back at his home.”

Usher: “This loss has deeply saddened me, with a heavy heart I composed this statement. May God cover you Michael. We all lift your name up in prayer. I pray for the entire Jackson family particularly Michael’s mother and all his fans that loved him so much. I would not be the artist, performer, and philanthropist I am today without the influence of Michael. Standing by his attorney, David Russo, in a New Jersey municipal court yesterday (Mar. 12th) Dipset rapper Juelz Santana pled not guilty to one count of marijuana possession and one count of possession of penetrating bullets. He was read his rights and ordered to report to criminal case management in Hackensack, NJ within 48 hours, according to a source at the courthouse. This all stems from an incident last week in which the rapper was pulled over and the police found weed, $20,000 in cash, and hollow point bullets in his car.

“He had a whole posse with him, like six men and a woman,” a court clerk said. “I didn’t realize he was so important.” “You should have seen the jewelry on this kid, his jewelry cost more than my house,” she continued. “And he had a matching ring that went with that bracelet. I would have killed for diamonds like that, are you kidding me? I may have to start listening to rap music now.”

Dipset rapper Juelz Santana was arrested last week in his hometown of Teaneck, New Jersey after being stopped by the police, who after a search of his Bentley, found 29 hollow point bullets wrapped in a sock and marijuana in the form of blunts and roaches. The arresting officer claimed he smelled marijuana coming from Santana’s car and after searching the vehicle, noticed several “roaches” (very small blunts), Dutch Masters, and White Owl cigars.

Police also discovered nearly $20 grand in cash in a hidden plastic bag filled with “hundreds of Jolly Rancher candies.” They also found a blunt in the sock where they found the hollow points, and a sandwich bag of marijuana in the police car where he had been sitting.
