The 23rd Annual Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards went down over the weekend (Sat. Mar 27) and a ton of stars (including Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Will Smith and his family, Swizz Beatz and his sons, Snoop Dogg and his family, Jermaine Dupri and his daughter, Keke Palmer and more) came out to the Pauley Pavilian at UCLA, where the show (hosted by actor/comedian Kevin James) was held, to see who would take home one of those famous orange blimps in categories like “Cutest Couple,” “Favorite TV Show,” “Favorite Song,” “Favorite Movie,” “Favorite Female/Male Singers” and more. Angela Simmons Addresses Disses Towards JoJo and Claims She is “Single”

When news broke the other day that Diggy Simmons had locked down a deal with Atlantic Records, people took to Twitter to diss the hell out of Diggy’s older brother JoJo Simmons who has been rapping for a while, but has been nowhere near close to locking down a deal with any major labels like his little bro And when JoJo and Diggy’s older sister Angela Simmons cauthw ind of this, she decided to throw in her two cents.

And since all the chatter, JoJo and Diggy’s sister, Angela Simmons decided to address all the joking and hoopla as well as her current relationship status via UStream:

“People need to stop trying to create a competition between my siblings. Trust me if one of us make it we are all happy. Haters out there have nothing better to do with their life than talk about someone else’s, instead criticizing our life, why don’t you try to get your own.”

Angela even went on to address all the chatter about if she is dating:

“I just want to take this time to speak to y’all for real about the rumors and stuff people are saying about me in the industry. I am single and I think that it is terrible that as a female I can’t hang out with my male friends without it being said that I am dating them. I have friends just like everyone else and I am not dating every guy that you see me hanging out with.”

We think that she did the right thing by addressing all of the chatter surrounding her brothers, but we are not feeling what she had to say about her “single” status. It’s hard to believe that she doesn’t has something going on with her ex boo Bow Wow, especially after she was spotted not too long ago chilling with him at one of his celebrity basketball games. Come on Angela, stop playing games with the media, you know good and well that you and Bow are still dating!

Diddy Throws HUGE Sweet 16 Birthday Bash for His Son Justin Dior Combs!

When you’re able to call Diddy “daddy,” expect nothing but the best.

This past Saturday night (Jan 23) Diddy did what he does best and thew a huge Sweet 16 Birthday Bash for his teenage son Justin Dior Combs at M2 Ultra Lounge in NYC. The theme of the party was “Prince of New York” and Justin’s date for the night was none other than Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj as MTV “My Super Sweet 16″ cameras were taping. Justin’s entire family was on hand including his mother Misa Hylton-Brim, his brothers Christian, Quincy and Niko, Grandma Janice, and many others.

Special Guests included Trey Songz, Jim Jones, Diggy & JoJo Simmons, Lil Kim, Fabulous, DJ Clue, and more others.

At the end of the shindig, Diddy presented his son with a luxury Maybach vehicle worth over $300,000! And along with that, Justin was given $10,000, which was donated to the relief efforts in Haiti. Click the link below to see more photos…

In an effort to motivate New York’s youth to stay in school, big names like Russell Simmons, Keri Hilson and Jim Jones participated in the 4th annual “Stay in School” pep rally & concert Tuesday night (Oct 27) in New York City.

Russell Simmons’ nephew JoJo Simmons and Bad Boy recording artist Donnie Klang were also in the building for the event, sponsored by Verizon Wireless and NYC’s premiere hip-hop station Hot 97. Continue reading for a few more pictures.

Vanessa Simmons celebrated her 26th birthday with a party at Su Casa in new York City Friday night (Aug 7). Her younger sister Angela, pictured above, and her little brother JoJo came through to party it up with their big sis. Dawn and Que also celebrated with the Pastry CEO.

The second season of Vanessa and Angela’s reality show, “Daddy’s Girls,” premieres on MTV tonight at 10 PM EST.

JoJo Simmons Gets off Easy: One Day of Community Service

Joseph Simmons Jr., best known as “JoJo” on MTV’s Run’s House, plead guilty to disorderly conduct after being popped by the police back in May after they caught him rolling up a joint while he was in a car along the Upper West Side. He was sentenced to serve just one day of community service.

Police accused Rev. Run’s son of backing up and attempting to evade the cops when he was caught with the rolled marijuana joint, which tacked on another charge: resisting arrest, in addition to his other charges of drug possession, reckless endangerment and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

But a few days after his arrest, he scored a plea deal with prosecutors and most of the serious charges mentioned above were dropped. The plea deal included him admitting to the disorderly conduct charge.

So Young Simmons got off pretty easy! Someone should definitely be counting their blessings right about now…

Rev. Run’s Son JoJo Simmons Busted for Possession of Weed!

JoJo Simmons, the eldest Simmons boy, was busted by one-time Friday night for possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, reports TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 19-year old was seen allegedly buying the marijuana and rolling a joint while sitting in a car on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. We’re told he tried to get away by throwing his car into reverse, and nearly backed into the officer’s car.

Word on the curb is that the Simmons family is in the middle of filming their new season of Run’s House, but no word on if cameras were rolling when JoJo was arrested. Regardless, we have a feeling this issue will make its way into the show somehow, someway.
