When you’re able to call Diddy “daddy,” expect nothing but the best.

This past Saturday night (Jan 23) Diddy did what he does best and thew a huge Sweet 16 Birthday Bash for his teenage son Justin Dior Combs at M2 Ultra Lounge in NYC. The theme of the party was “Prince of New York” and Justin’s date for the night was none other than Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj as MTV “My Super Sweet 16″ cameras were taping. Justin’s entire family was on hand including his mother Misa Hylton-Brim, his brothers Christian, Quincy and Niko, Grandma Janice, and many others.

Special Guests included Trey Songz, Jim Jones, Diggy & JoJo Simmons, Lil Kim, Fabulous, DJ Clue, and more others.

At the end of the shindig, Diddy presented his son with a luxury Maybach vehicle worth over $300,000! And along with that, Justin was given $10,000, which was donated to the relief efforts in Haiti. Click the link below to see more photos…

In an effort to motivate New York’s youth to stay in school, big names like Russell Simmons, Keri Hilson and Jim Jones participated in the 4th annual “Stay in School” pep rally & concert Tuesday night (Oct 27) in New York City.

Vanessa Simmons celebrated her 26th birthday with a party at Su Casa in new York City Friday night (Aug 7). Her younger sister Angela, pictured above, and her little brother JoJo came through to party it up with their big sis. Dawn and Que also celebrated with the Pastry CEO.

The second season of Vanessa and Angela’s reality show, “Daddy’s Girls,” premieres on MTV tonight at 10 PM EST.

Russell Simmons hosted the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation’s 10th Anniversary Art for Life Benefit at his East Hampton Estate Saturday (Jul 18) in East Hampton, New York. Joseph Simmons Jr., best known as “JoJo” on MTV’s Run’s House, plead guilty to disorderly conduct after being popped by the police back in May after they caught him rolling up a joint while he was in a car along the Upper West Side. He was sentenced to serve just one day of community service.

Police accused Rev. Run’s son of backing up and attempting to evade the cops when he was caught with the rolled marijuana joint, which tacked on another charge: resisting arrest, in addition to his other charges of drug possession, reckless endangerment and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.

But a few days after his arrest, he scored a plea deal with prosecutors and most of the serious charges mentioned above were dropped. The plea deal included him admitting to the disorderly conduct charge.

So Young Simmons got off pretty easy! Someone should definitely be counting their blessings right about now…

JoJo Simmons, the eldest Simmons boy, was busted by one-time Friday night for possession of marijuana, resisting arrest, attempted reckless endangerment and criminal use of drug paraphernalia, reports TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 19-year old was seen allegedly buying the marijuana and rolling a joint while sitting in a car on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. We’re told he tried to get away by throwing his car into reverse, and nearly backed into the officer’s car.

Word on the curb is that the Simmons family is in the middle of filming their new season of Run’s House, but no word  on if cameras were rolling when JoJo was arrested. Regardless, we have a feeling this issue will make its way into the show somehow, someway.

Here’s a new song that just landed into our inbox. It’s a remix to Soulja Boy’s “Turn My Swag On,” and Young Simmons (JoJo Simmons) and Keri Hilson are featured on the track. We’re not going to comment on the track, but we will leave you with this: A professional studio in your basement and some vocals from Keri Hilson can do wonders to a song.
