Rapper Jim Jones was maced and arrested after he got into a huge fight with a group of people (including the police!) over the weekend at a casino in Connecticut.

According to TMZ, the rapper and VH1 reality star was leaving a party Friday night (Feb 24) hosted by Diddy at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT when an unidentified drunk man approached him and started to agonize him, which Jones initially ignored.

However, when the guy started to get physical and throwing punches, Jones did too, fighting back in self defense. That’s when the guy’s friends jumped in, and Jim’s people jumped in too, creating a massive brawl.

When police arrived on the scene, Jones fought back as they tried to apprehend him, and it took at least five policemen and mace to subdue him.

Before bonding out of jail the following Saturday morning, Jim Jones — who makes regular appearances on VH1′s “Love and Hip-Hop” — was arrested and charged with assault on a police officer and breach of peace.

The second season of “Love and Hip Hop” may be over, but that doesn’t mean the drama is!

It’s no secret that many of the show’s cast members don’t like each other. So to combat that, and the fact that none of the ladies can sit in the same room with each other, instead of wrapping up the season with a traditional “reunion special,” VH1 came with the unique idea to host what they’re calling a “Reality Check” reunion-like special that will feature one-on-one interviews with all of the “Love and Hip Hop 2″ ladies.

“Love and Hip Hop 2: Reality Check” is not your traditional reunion show. Due to all the fights and arguments the cast had with each other, the producers were forced to do something different since several of the ladies refused to be in the same room together!

In revealing, one-on-one interviews with Executive Producer Mona Scott-Young, all of the Love and Hip Hop stars speak frankly about which cast members they get along with, who they hate, and answer all of the burning questions that the fans want to know.

Can Emily and Fab work it out? What exactly was in Yandy’s explosive e-mail? Are Chrissy and Jim ever getting married? And, most shocking of all, find out who quit the show and may be gone for good.

This special episode is not so much a season recap as it is a revelation of all the dramatic moments that never aired as well as a candid look at how being a reality TV star can change your life forever.

In an effort to get viewers ready for the special, VH1 has released a couple of sneak peak clips. In one of the clips, Chrissy and Yandy (who we all know basically hate each other) each give their own version of the beef that brewed between the two throughout the entire season.

Chrissy says it was her idea to bring Yandy on the show in the first place, and she apparently wasn’t having it when producers decided to “expand” Yandy’s role, giving Yandy more screen time than her.

So Chrissy and Jim Jones gave Yandy an ultimatum. She could either continue to be Jim Jones’ manager and fade into the darkness when it comes to her role on the show … or she could quit as Jones’ manager and continue to be on the show. (And we all know the decision Yandy obviously made in the end.)

“I am so good at what I’ve done, I’ve made an avenue for you!” Chrissy says in clip #2, in reference to Yandy. “We want to talk about paychecks and who is doing what? Bitch you on my show! I am so good at what I’ve done, I’ve made an avenue for you! Bow down!”

Ouch.

Jim Jones and Juelz Santana aren’t letting their ladies cause tension between them.

As most of you already know….on episode one of “Love & Hip Hop” Season 2, Chrissy Lampkin and Kimbella Vanderhee got into a massive brawl. (Which Chrissy totally initiated …. and owned!)

After the incident, the Dipset brothers talked things out and are in a good place with each other.

“I wish that it wouldn’t have happened … but things happen. I spoke to my brother about it, we cool … shout to my lady Chrissy. It’s all good,” Jones told TMZ.

We’re glad Jim and Juelz are being mature about this. Maybe Chrissy and Kimbella can do the same?

Jim Jones recently learned a big lesson about being flashy out in public.

On Monday, the Dipset rapper was attacked by a group of men in Harlem … and he believes they were trying to jack him for his jewelry!

“I was in Harlem, alone, when three men stepped to me. Well the first guy, I beat the shit out of him, then the second guy jumped in with a metal pipe. I was so amped up I didn’t even feel him hitting me with it. I was still putting a beating on the first guy. But when the third guy pulled out a gun, I got out of there. I left. Anyone with a brain would do the same.”

Jones admits that his decision wasn’t the smartest on his part, and it will never happen again.

“That was a stupid mistake. I know that. I’m human and that’s where I slipped up. It won’t happen again.”

Jim also dismissed rumors claiming that his former manager Yandy Smith‘s boyfriend was one of his attackers.

We’re glad Jim didn’t get hurt or anything too serious happened. Hopefully other rappers will put this on their not-to-do list.

Dipset rapper Jim Jones is being hit with a lawsuit by two woman claiming that they were put in a promotional video without their permission.

Two topless Texans are suing rapper Jim Jones after their sexy romp was showcased on a promotional video for his song “Summer Time.”

Sharie Johnson and Samantha Stotts contend the “Pop Champagne” star’s crew filmed them as they frolicked in the waves on South Beach – then used the footage to promote his new song. “They knew they were being filmed,” said Taso Pardalis, a lawyer for the two women. “But they didn’t know they were going to be used in a video without their permission.”

The video shows Jones rapping while clutching a Champagne flute and playing with a stack of $100 bills – just before it cuts to shots of the two topless babes. “They were prancing about in the water and in the moment, they kind of went along with it,” Pardalis said. “But you can see one of the girls in the video cover up immediately when she realized they were being filmed.”

The Manhattan Supreme Court suit, which targets Jones, Sony Music Entertainment and others, seeks to stop the “further dissemination” of the video, which has been viewed more than 30,000 times on YouTube. The “Summer Time” clip opens with a shot noting that it was 28 degrees, windy and snowing in New York on Dec. 6., then showcases women in bikinis.

Hip-hop represented over the weekend in Atlanta for “Converse Takeover Weekend.” The first event was the Converse Tip-Off, which was held at the Georgia Freight Room Friday (Apr 30) and was attended by Jermaine Dupri, Young Money artist Shanell, model/actress Melyssa Ford and more.

The following day (Sat. May 1), rappers Cam’ron and Jim Jones put their differences aside and suited up as “The Jones Family” team at the Converse Band of Ballers celebrity basketball tournament at Clark Atlanta University. The pair confirmed to Miss Info that they were trying to work things out and reconcile their differences:

“Above all, me and Cam, we still brothers. And we’re building on getting back on track but first, I apologize for being a rude brother, for saying things publicly without first trying to handle them privately…”

Other celebrity bball players at the game were Jermaine Dupri (who headed the “So So Def” team) and rappers Shawty Lo (who led the “Southern Hospitality” team) and O.J. da Juiceman. The final competing teams in the championship game was Jim Jones’ the Jones Family versus Shawty Lo’s Southern Hospitality team with the Jones Family taking the win with a final score of 10 to 5.

When you’re able to call Diddy “daddy,” expect nothing but the best.

This past Saturday night (Jan 23) Diddy did what he does best and thew a huge Sweet 16 Birthday Bash for his teenage son Justin Dior Combs at M2 Ultra Lounge in NYC. The theme of the party was “Prince of New York” and Justin’s date for the night was none other than Young Money rapper Nicki Minaj as MTV “My Super Sweet 16″ cameras were taping. Justin’s entire family was on hand including his mother Misa Hylton-Brim, his brothers Christian, Quincy and Niko, Grandma Janice, and many others.

Special Guests included Trey Songz, Jim Jones, Diggy & JoJo Simmons, Lil Kim, Fabulous, DJ Clue, and more others.

R&B songwriter turned singer Keri Hilson performed on stage Tuesday night (Oct 27) during Power 105.1′s Powerhouse concert at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ.

The 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards went down in Atlanta, GA Saturday (Oct 10). We hear Jay-Z and Young Jeezy opened the show in a big way with a surprise performance! Other tidbits from the show include the late DJ AM being the recipient of the “DJ of the Year” award, Kid & Play popping up during New Boyz‘ performance and Gucci Mane performing like 3 or 4 times. The show also featured performances from Soulja Boy, Ludacris, Jim Jones, Snoop Dogg and more.

The show, hosted by comedian Mike Epps, airs on BET on Tuesday, October 27th at 8/7c and we hear it was actually the best out of the few that have gone on over the past few years.

According to recent reports, rappers Bow Wow and Jim Jones have both been dropped from their recording label, Columbia Records. It’s no secret that Bow Wow has been feuding with his label, having taken to Twitter to complain about lack of promotion and attention, in addition to making note that artists like Beyonce received more support.

Jim Jones used the increasingly popular micro-blogging service known as Twitter to keep his followers & fans updated on his ordeal with 5-0. No, not wack ass 50 Cent either. 5-0 as in the cops. The Dipset Capo was arrested Monday morning on an oustanding warrant for a traffic violation in Teaneck, NJ. He was initially stopped for an equipment violation, reports AP, but after searching through his records, police discovered he had an oustanding warrant from the nearby town of Paterson. That’s when they took him into custody, where he let his fans know what was up via his Twitter account:

At 12:24 AM the star revealed he had been stopped in his car by cops, writing: “I decide to drive by myself let’s see how this plays out.”

Later, while he was still in police custody, he downplayed the situation and assured fans he was alright: “Well, it didn’t go the way I wanted I’m in the precinct but I still have my phone they ain’t trippin, they said just procedure.”

After he was released, Jones laughed off his arrest, vowing at 1:53 AM never to make the same mistake again: “The funny part was watching them have to count all the money in my pocket lol I must say they were very cool. And it was a punk ass warrant from 2005 for 120 dollars. Make sure you pay old tickets.”

While Keri Hilson was over at the Wet Seal, Jim Jones was getting his album promo on at the Virgin Megastore in Times Square on Tuesday, where he met with fans and signed autographs to celebrate the release of his new album, Pray IV Reign.
