Kim Kardashian and actresses Jennifer Love Hewitt and Zoe Saldana were among the charitable celebrities who helped the Los Angeles mission serve Thanksgiving meals and celebrate its 75th anniversary Wednesday (Nov 23).

Kim, Jennifer and Zoe, along with actors Blair Underwood and Kirk Douglas, helped the L.A. mission serve nearly 4,000 meals during their 75th Thanksgiving celebration this year.

“These people don’t have the meals that we do, so anything we can do to provide that for them, I’m very happy to do,” Kardashian told reporters at the charity event.

Fan favorite Mariska Hargitay is reportedly planning to make the next season of “Law & Order: SVU” her last, as Deadline Hollywood claims she’s inked a deal that will see her working fewer hours with a new female detective eventually taking her place. Now, sources say another veteran TV star is eyeing a role as Hargitay’s replacement: Jennifer Love Hewitt.

According to TV Line, Hewitt is in talks to step in as the new partner of Elliot Stabler (Meloni), after Det. Olivia Benson (Hargitay) is promoted in the precinct to a supervising position mid-season.

Hargitay has signed a deal to return for the 13th season of ‘SVU,’ but working fewer hours at the same salary. Meloni hasn’t yet signed his deal, but is reportedly asking for a raise.

Hewitt has yet to officially sign any contract.

R&B singer Brandy put on a red apron and served up hot meals at a Christmas Eve charity event held at the L.A. Mission in downtown Los Angeles, CA Friday night (Dec 24).

The former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant, who will reportedly announce details regarding a new record deal next year, was joined by “The Hills” star Stephanie Pratt, actress Alyssa Milano and host Jennifer Love Hewitt, and they all helped serve mashed potatoes, turkey, green beans and other delicious Christmas meals.

All you Jennifer Love Hewitt fans out there…prepare to see you’re favorite actress in a brand new light.

Hewitt will be playing a rape victim on Wednesday’s episode of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.” In the episode, Jennifer’s character Vicki is taken to a hospital where she claims to have been attacked by the same man on several occasions….but later denies any form of sexual assault to the police. At first, Jen didn’t think she could pull the role off….but ended up connecting with her character more than she could have ever expected.

“I don’t think I will ever act the same way. It was like something in my heart and my soul just connected on a different level. It was extraordinary. I felt really honoured that they thought I could tackle a subject matter like this and a character like this,” she told The Toronto Sun.

The episode will also feature detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliott Stabler (Christopher Meloni).

In a recent interview with “Entertainment Tonight”, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt expressed how excited and proud her mother Patricia Hewitt was about her role as a prostitute in her new Lifetime film “The Client List” which aired Monday night (Jul 19).

Jennifer told Entertainment Tonight:

“My mom’s like, ‘I’m so proud. You’re pole dancing and you’re going to play a prostitute. Awesome!’ It’s like, ‘Yeah, what you always dreamed about, mama!’ But you know, it’s a great part.”

Hewitt also went on to tell E.T. that despite being a prostitute, her new role will relate to more people than expected:

“Given where we are economically, it’s an interesting story. This is the most recession-proof business there is! It’s really a movie about the human condition, and the heart, and where life can take you. Samantha has no choice at the end of the day but to give everything that she can in order to take care of her family. It just gets out of hand.”

The former “Ghost Whisperer” actress recently revealed that her next TV role may be a funny one. “Ghost Whisperer” was canceled this year after 5 seasons.

Speaking on her future television roles, Hewitt said:

“Some of the TV stuff I’m looking at is comedy stuff, I think if I do something I would like to try something a little lighter and not a one-hour drama schedule. That’s the most daunting part. My time on TV has been awesome, between Party Of Five and Ghost Whisperer I’ve been severely lucky in great long runs on TV series that were attached to the heart and got into the audiences’ hearts. I definitely am not in a rush to move back into TV right away and if I do it will probably be under different circumstances. I don’t think I’ll be crossing people over!”

Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt plays a physical therapist turned prostitute in her new Lifetime movie “The Client List.” In a recent interview, the former “Ghost Whisperer” TV show star talked about how at first she was hesitant about the role and would often ask her mom for approval while on set.

“It was such a weird existence. I would send my mom pictures from the set and we would joke about it. I would say, ‘Mom, are you proud?’ and she would say, ‘It’s what I’ve always dreamt for you.’”

“I was initially hesitant [about the role], because it was something different than I had ever done before. But once I got into the story, I was like, ‘Wow, there’s so much here. I love who Samantha is as a person. I love that you can judge her and root for her all at the same time.”

The Client list airs Monday July 19th on Lifetime. This should definitely be a sight to see!

Lots of celebrity women (excluding Howard Stern & Donald Trump) came out to catch the “Sex and the City 2″ movie premiere, presented by Mercedes-Benz and Maybach, at Radio City Music Hall in New York City Monday night (May 24). TV personalities Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian posed for pics together on the Red Carpet at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards, held Sunday evening in Los Angeles at the Nokia Theater. Apparently their arrival as a duo was changed at the last minute due to a wardrobe malfunction Kim experienced prior to stepping out on the red carpet. She said didn’t get to make her “live hit” with sister Kourtney because of a problem with her zipper but was able to make it to the show on time and called it “an amazing experience.”

Writing on her official blog, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admitted that a zipper on her white dress by Ina Soltani broke while she was en route to the ceremony.

“I had a major fashion emergency… My entire zipper ripped! It just popped!” she explained. “I freaked out and called my stylist Monica who was at the Emmys waiting for me with a needle and thread to sew up my entire dress! ”
