Jennifer Lopez was among the many performers who hit the stage during Wednesday night’s (May 23) “American Idol” Season 11 finale.

Dressed in a sparkly tank top and matching “drop-crotch” harem pants, Lopez started off her performance by debuting her new single “Goin In.”

She then ripped off her vest-like tank top, revealing a sequined studded bra and her perfectly toned stomach underneath, and was joined by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel for a performance of their song “Follow the Leader.”

Jennifer Lopez and her dancer beau Casper Smart were spotted shopping it up at The Grove in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon (May 20).

The couple hit up clothing store Zara to get some retail therapy, and not too long after, were seen holding hands as they exited the store with bulging shopping bags full of their purchases.

Over the weekend, Jennifer’s new movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” opened up to a disappointing $10.5 million in ticket sales.

At the movie’s premiere event in L.A. last week, 25-year-old Smart had nothing but good things to say about his 42-year-old superstar girlfriend and their spontaneous relationship.

“It was really professional for a very long time before anything even happened,” Smart said. “It just really spontaneously happened. The chemistry was there. You can’t fight it.”

“She’s a beautiful woman,” he said. “She’s a good person like anyone else…we’re all just people.”

Jennifer Lopez has dropped hints that she may not return to famed talent competition show “American Idol” next season.

During her promotional interview for her new film “What to Expect When Your Expecting” with fellow actress Cameron Diaz on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Lopez said of Idol:

“I really do enjoy it. Now this is my second year — I don’t know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies being three, but now they’re getting more mobile, they’re about to go into school … So I just don’t know.”

Sources close to the production of the hit Fox show say that the network doesn’t want to lose Lopez, but a source close to the singer — who is set to embark on a summer tour with Enrique Iglesias that will most likely turn into a world tour in the fall — tells E! News that she’s just simply “too busy” to be apart of the next season of American Idol.

“There is just too much going on for her right now,” the source explained. “She regrets she can’t stay on the show. It’s been an incredible experience and she is forever grateful that she did it.”

Along with rock legend Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez joined American Idol in 2010 for Season 10 and allegedly received a $12 million paycheck.

Her pay for Season 11 was upped to $20 million, which landed her the top spot on Forbes Magazine’s 2012 list of the most powerful celebrities.

American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez recently spoiled her boyfriend Casper Smart rotten for his 25th birthday.

In addition to treating Smart to a shopping spree and lunch in Beverly Hills, the 42-year-old Puerto Rican beauty gifted her man a white customized Dodge Ram truck.

A source told People that Jennifer “knew that Casper really wanted a truck, and Casper was very excited about the generous gift.”

A super excited Lopez tweeted the other day:

Lopez also reportedly brought in a “huge special cake” from an outside bakery to treat her boyfriend of  a little over five months.

A genuinely surprised Smart was “so happy throughout the night,” and he showered his word-famous girlfriend with kisses throughout the party, the insider said. “He was very touched … Jennifer really likes that guy.”

The pair were spotted showing off a little PDA in Acapulco Monday (Mar 12) on the set of J.Lo’s new music video, which is surprisingly being directed by Smart, who is not only her lover, but also her back-up dancer (and apparently her video director now too).

Taking to Twitter the American Idol judge gushed, “2nd Video in Mexico with @wisinyyandel #FollowTheLeader Love it here! #LosLideres Siempre al frente!”

Jennifer Lopez packs a mean punch in her photoshoot featured in the March 2012 issue of V Magazine.

Wearing Everlast gloves and a cut-off shirt showing off her underboobs, the 42-year-old knockout flaunts her perfect body and six-pack abs in the magazine’s “Sports Issue.”

“I’ve always felt like a tough girl from the Bronx, but I have a soft core,” said Lopez, who added that she knows how to fight. “I can take a lot of punches and still keep going. I’ve been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds.”

Lopez also talked about her ex husband Marc Anthony and shared her feelings on making mistakes.

On her ex Marc Anthony: “I mean, we’re parents and friends first. That will be the thread that ties us together. I don’t know if people expect it to be negative just because the relationship didn’t work out.”

On making mistakes: “You’re not going to hit the target or the bull’s-eye every time. That’s part of it. At the end of the day, I made those choices. I’ve been in the business now, I don’t want to say how many years. You have amazing moments of recognition and success. But at this point in my life, I try to take it all with a grain of salt.”

Every year, near the end of February, the world — or at least some of it — turns to Hollywood for its biggest night: The Academy Awards.

This year was no exception, with a show that’s controversy started months before the red carpet was laid, when the producer and host were abruptly pulled from the show, shocking insiders and fans alike.

Eddie Murphy’s title as host of the 84th presentation of the Oscars was short lived, as Billy Crystal became the new host after Murphy decided against going forward without his producing partner, Brett Ratner, who’d been ousted because of offensive comments made on a radio show.

This year’s show will undoubtedly be critiqued with as many disparaging words as positive ones. There were many moments to remember, from award winners accepting their gold Oscar, to moments on the red carpet that are memorable for reasons of fashion or just plain shock.

Here’s my take on the highlights of the show:

Looks like this “thing” with Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart is getting pretty serious.

Jennifer and Casper, who have been publicly dating since last November, were spotted having a play date on the beach in Malibu with the American Idol judge’s 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

In some of the photos, Casper — who is also a backup dancer for Lopez — can be seen playfully hoisting little Emme in the air and running around with her and Max as their mom watches on by the beach.

A friend of the couple recently told US Weekly that Smart gets along “great” with Lopez’ two children from her former 7-year marriage with Marc Anthony.

Lopez and Anthony have yet to finalize their divorce, but it looks like things are already heating up between Jennifer and Casper.

“Jennifer wouldn’t introduce him to them unless she know she could trust him,” the friend told US Weekly.

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were spotted holding hands while on a romantic outing in Miami’s South Beach over the recent Holiday weekend.

The 42-year-old cougar star and her much younger 24-year-old dancer boyfriend, both wearing shades and casual attire, were seen shopping for designer sunglasses at a store nearby.

After spending Thanksgiving together in Hawaii, the couple also reportedly spent Christmas AND New Year’s together while a nanny took care of Lopez’s 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

According to People Magazine, the pair, who first stepped out together last November, kicked off their “hot weekend” together on Thursday night when they went out to a high-tech nightclub called Amnesia, where the couple reportedly rocked special glasses to take in the club’s lighting effects.

“They were very sexy with each other, dancing and bouncing around and making out,” a source at the club told People, adding that the couple attracted a lot of attention, and didn’t leave until 3 a.m. “They couldn’t help but attract attention, although Jennifer was trying to lie low from onlookers.”

“Jennifer looked very happy. Although she kept to herself, there was no question she was really enjoying the club and her boyfriend,” said another on-looker.

When they woke up the next day, with Lopez’s 3-year-old twins in tow, the couple boarded a $10 million yacht owned by a friend.

“Jennifer and Casper held hands and had their arms around each other,” a source told People about their day-to-evening cruise. “The twins were having fun, and everyone seemed to get along.”

To ring in the New Year on Saturday night (Dec 31), a source revealed that the couple joined a group of friends for a private dinner at the Soho Beach House, and spent the entire weekend together at a private home.

“Jennifer wants to keep a low-profile and has been using sunglasses and a plain face with little or no makeup to go unrecognized,” a source in Miami said.

Getting the keys to the Bentley. Check. Spending the Holidays together in Miami. Check. Getting “sexy with each other” at the club, in front of people. Double check. Waking up the next day and boarding a friend’s $10 million yacht. Triple check!

According to sources, the 24-year-old back-up dancer has been driving around in the pop star’s Bentley as of lately.

Will.i.am goes “Hard” in his brand new music video “T.H.E. (The Hardest Ever),” featuring Jennifer Lopez and Mick Jagger.

The new song, which Will.i.am debuted last month at the American Music Awards, follows the Black Eyed Peas’ announcement that they are temporarily disbanding to focus on individual solo projects.

“This next journey is not going to be easy,” Will.i.am wrote on his Google+ page. “The black eyed peas was so successful…beyond what I initially dreamed of…but just because the black eyed peas was a success it doesn’t mean I’m going to be successful as a solo act…(This is know)…that is why I titled this 1st single (the hardest ever)…because the journey is hard…and I will do it alone…this video is about my new mission and obstacles.”

Clearly not afraid to show off a little PDA, Jennifer Lopez and her new back-up dancer boyfriend Casper Smart were spotted locking lips in L.A. recently outside a studio where they were rehearsing.

The new couple have been spending some serious time together too! They reportedly spent some quality time together while on vacation in Hawaii over the Thanksgiving Holiday, and according to our friends over at Celebuzz, are now in Morocco. (The kissing photos were snapped BEFORE they jetted off to Hawaii together.)

The former couple reunited last week in Puerto Rico for the filming of their upcoming Latin talent show “¡Q’Viva! The Chosen.”

Together they watched auditions and appeared to be having a good time. (Hey …at least they can let bygones be bygones and get that paper!!)

The show is expected to air in the U.S. in early 2012.

According to multiple sources, the “American Idol” judge has pulled a Britney Spears, and is now dating one of her backup dancers Casper Smart.

An insider told PEOPLE Magazine:

“Yes, they are dating and having a good time. They’ve been getting more open with their flirting for week.”

Casper is an L.A. based dancer who has appeared in “Step Up 3D”, “Glee”, and “How I Met Your Mother.” However his relationship with Lopez isn’t to be taken so seriously, the insider adds.

“It’s a fun fling, It’s not meant to turn into anything more.”

Regardless, we guess it’s safe to say J.Lo has moved on from Bradley Cooper, who obviously needs to step his game up if he lost her to a backup dancer … SMH!

The “Papi” singer looks damn good too in her nautical-themed photo shoot, which was shot by photographer Matthias Vriens-McGrath for Glamour’s “Women of the Year” December issue, where she talks about her style, love and relationships and more.

Jennifer Lopez‘s emotions got the best of her as she performed a love song at a concert in Connecticut Saturday night (Oct 22).

According to Radar Online, the 42-year-old singer decided to bring out look-a-likes from her past relationships, which included Diddy, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck and of course her ex husband Marc Anthony, which caused her to break down in tears and run offstage sobbing.

As she sang, pairs of dancers appeared in spotlights around her. One couple had a P. Diddy look-alike with the female dancer wearing a copy of her infamous slit-down-to-the navel Versace gown.

Another had the male dancer mimicking Cris Judd with the girl in jeans and a T-shirt, while another pair had the girl wearing a seafoam green gown on the arm of a Ben Affleck double.

Most telling was the dancing couple who recreated Lopez and Marc Anthony during their sizzling American Idol performance last May, just weeks before they announced their split.

That’s when she couldn’t take it anymore … and she broke down in tears:

“At the end of the song she started sobbing and had to take a few moments to keep it together,” an onlooker told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “She held it together for one song but then ran offstage crying. She only sang a few more songs and she was obviously out of it. Everyone was so sad for her. It was really dramatic.”

The pair had dinner last month at Per Se in New York City, but denied that they were dating, saying that their dinner was nothing more than a business meeting. But a source tells People that there’s more to the story.

“After their date in New York, Bradley and Jennifer stayed in touch,” the source said, adding, “She does like his attention, and it makes her feel good that he seems so into her. She has a fun time with Bradley and he makes her laugh.”

According to TMZ, the 42 year-old actress/singer and “Hangover” actor Bradley Cooper went out on a date Saturday night in New York City.

Jennifer Lopez might be moving on from hubby Marc Anthony in a big way — because last night she went out on a date with Bradley Cooper … TMZ has learned.

We’re told the two hit up Per Se, a restaurant located at Columbus Circle in New York City. We’re told the dinner was “romantic” and was just the two of them.

Marc Anthony is finally opening up out about his divorce from Jennifer Lopez.

In an interview with ABC’s John Quinones, the 42-year-old revealed that he still loves his estranged wife and there’s no hard feelings between them.

“I’ll always love Jennifer. Yeah. I’ll always love Jennifer. She knows that and my kids know that. Jennifer is a wonderful, wonderful woman, a wonderful mother, a wonderful friend. It is sad. It is sad you think of the impact of all those people who believed in you. You think about your family. You think about the possibilities.”

Anthony added: “But we realized that very, very early on that even though we are not together, this story is not over. There’s stuff to do together. There’s life to see together thru (their children) Max and Emmy. It’s all good.”

The singer is currently shooting the video for her next single “Papi” in downtown Los Angeles and was spotted Sunday afternoon (Aug 21) performing one hell of a dance number with a large group of guys.

She was even joined on set by her daughter Emme between takes.

“He calls her nonstop, especially when he’s drinking,” an insider close to the events has told Us Weekly. “Marc is constantly harassing her and doesn’t think she’ll go through with the divorce.”

Confused? Well the story gets even more complicated as the estranged couple were spotted August 10th in Southampton, NY. Apparently they were putting on a show of unity so Anthony could spend time with their 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Representatives from Marc’s camp have denied he has been making the harassing calls. We’ll be watching to see how this develops!

It has finally been confirmed that fan/contestant favorite on last season’s American Idol Jennifer Lopez will return to the show for a second season!

Speaking  with “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Wednesday, AI executive producer Nigel Lythgoe dished: “I am delighted to say that all three judges, along with the brilliant host of American Idol Ryan Seacrest, is back for the next season.”

He also added that sole original judge Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler will soon hit the road for the 11th season auditions in Denver; Houston; St. Louis; Portland, Oregon; San Diego; Pittsburgh; and Charleston, South Carolina.

Lopez has yet to make a statement about her return to the show, and her spokespeople could not be reached for comment. Reps for Fox have no comment at the time, either.

But in any event … congrats J.Lo, and welcome back!

Jennifer Lopez opens up about her divorce from Marc Anthony in the upcoming September 2011 issue of Vanity Fair.

In her cover story, the 42 year-old entertainer told the magazine that following her split from her husband of 7 years she is determined to move forward in life and take on new challenges.

“Sometimes it doesn’t work, and that’s sad. But I remain an eternal optimist about love,” Lopez said. “It’s still my biggest dream. I am positive — determined — to move forward with my life, bring up my babies and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.”

Ever since her split with Anthony, Lopez admits that she is now able to love herself … something she says many compromise in relationships.

She says, “It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself — if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”

Despite their break-up, Jennifer and Marc remain good friends and he will always have a special place in her heart.

”I’m a hopeless romantic and passionate person when it comes to love,” Lopez revealed. “I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer. We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic—and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

Jennifer Lopez is back at work following her unexpected divorce from Marc Anthony … and she was snapped on the set of her new movie “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” earlier today (and yesterday and the day before) in Atlanta.

The film, which also stars Cameron Diaz, Chris Rock and Chace Crawford follows four couples as they begin the road of parenthood, something J.Lo can relate to as she is the mother of two young twins Emme and Max, who were both also on the set watching their mommy film her new movie.

Meanwhile, sources say that Jennifer Lopez’s deal with American Idol is near completion, and she will most likely be returning to the show next season.

“We’re in good shape. No worries. No dark clouds on the horizon,” Cécile Frot-Coutaz, CEO at FremantleMedia North America, which produces the talent competition series, told the WSJ.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced their surprising split earlier this month, but the duo came close to parting ways two years ago because of Anthony’s fling with a flight attendant.

In the new Us Weekly, out now, a source says that Anthony, 42, hooked up with a flight attendant he met aboard a private plane in 2009.

“Marc and Jennifer almost split up over it,” the source tellsUs of the couple, parents to 3-year-old twins Emme and Max.

Fat Joe was devastated when he heard about Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s divorce.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony‘s marriage may have appeared to be perfect on the outside…..but on the inside, things weren’t going as well as they seemed.

A source close to the couple told Us Weekly in a recent interview that their relationship was like a roller coaster ride.

“They had a very up and down marriage. They would get into heated, horrible fights. Then, they would also go through times where they were extremely loving and romantic … It was a roller coaster with them from the beginning,” the source revealed to the mag exclusively.

Despite constant fall-outs, Jennifer “tried everything she could to make it work,” a second source revealed to Us. “They went to marriage counseling. She was patient and loving and did everything he wanted her to … She exhausted all the possibilities.”

At the time of the announcement of their divorce, Lopez was devastated after being dedicated to Anthony for seven years.

“[She is] absolutely beside herself. This is someone she dedicated a long time to, and that she truly loved,” the first source told the mag.

But she isn’t going to let that stop all of the success she has been having lately…….and feels like she is now a better person than ever.

“She is looking forward to the future,” another source disclosed. “She is jumping back into work and being a mom with all her energy and she is really excited. She feels like she has grown leaps and bounds and is a new person now, better than ever!”

In what is considered to be one of the most shocking headlines of the moment, Hollywood couple Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are reportedly filing for divorce, putting an end to their 7-year marriage.

“We have decided to end our marriage,” they tell PEOPLE in a joint statement. “This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”

“It is a painful time for all involved,” the statement continues, “and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

Lopez, 41, and Anthony, 42, wed in 2004 in a secret ceremony at Lopez’s Beverly Hills home. The now estranged couple are parents to 3-year-old twins Max and Emme.

Jennifer Lopez may not be returning to “American Idol” next year.

The 41 year-old singer/actress revealed to the BBC yesterday that she is still in the process of making a decision.

“You know, this is the question of the hour. I don’t know, I don’t know. I had an amazing time doing it and I loved it, but I have a lot of other things happening, and it’s gonna come down to making a choice of really what I want to do for the next year.”

We hope J.Lo does decide to stay…who else is going to be easy on the eyes to watch???

L.A. radio station KIIS FM held their annual Wango Tango concert last Saturday night (May 14) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Jennifer Lopez made a promotional stop on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show” this week to endorse her new album, Love?.

Lopez chatted it up with Ellen and spoke on everything from being named the “Most Beautiful Woman in the World” to her role as an “American Idol” judge.

“I’m like, ‘What am I gonna say?!’ What I try to do is really think like, ‘Ok, I know this person wants to get to the final, so what do i know, what can i give them right now that’s gonna help them be better for next time. You really start seeing who are the ones who are cut out for the business. Because it’s a lot of pressure, it’s a lot of performing on the spot. And this is like the hard course to fame. It’s a crash course”.

Lil Wayne has finally made his way into Jennifer Lopez‘ “I’m Into You” music video. The rapper, who appears on the track, wasn’t featured in the original video (released last week) due to scheduling/legal conflicts (Weezy couldn’t actually go to Mexico to shoot the video because he’s on probation). But now a second version has been released and it shows clips of Wayne as he raps his verse.

In a recent interview with MTV News, J.Lo explained how Lil Wayne is “so unique” and how he surprised her with how polite he was when she first got on the phone with him to talk about the track.

“He really is unique. He’s so not what you would think or what you would think him to be,” she said. “Like when I got on the phone with him to talk about the record, I thought he was going to be like, ‘Hey, what’s up, J.Lo?’ and instead he was like, ‘Yes, ma’am.’

“I was like, ‘Are you going to be able to do this record? I need it done this week and do you want to do it?’ and he was like, ‘Of course I do. Yes, ma’am. I’ll get it done this week, ma’am,’ ” she added, laughing. “I’ve always found him an interesting artist, and the things he says and the way he says them, and I just thought he wasn’t the obvious choice for this record, but for me he was the only choice.”

Aubrey “Drake” Graham, Hip-Hop’s reigning mulatto champion, has officially been tapped to perform voice work in the upcoming flick  ”Ice Age: Continental Drift,” the fourth installment in the popular “Ice Age” series.

The Canadian rapper joins fellow newcomers Aziz Ansari, Wanda Sykes and Keke Palmer in the flick. “Ice Age 4″ will also see appearances from the movie’s original cast, including Ray Romano, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Seann William Scott and Josh Peck.

Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez are also rumored to be joining the project.

“Continental Drift” is expected to hit theaters on July 13th 2012!
